The land was bleak and littered with ruin and rubble. Sunlight - more distant and less atmosphere-diffused - lingered cheerlessly on the horizon, threatening to leave the world entirely. Wiry, metallic vines wrapped around most of what was left standing - as well as quite a bit of what wasn't. Craters indicated a cause of the devastation. Nearby were a collection of impressive buildings, still mostly intact. In the distance were two much more impressive structures; a large spherical shape and a towering needle. The architecture was vaguely classical in form, but didn't quite look like the classical architecture on Earth. It was a bit too....spacy. But this was space, after all. At least it wasn't Earth. In a flash of sky blue light, Sailor Nassovia appeared in the midst of the less impressive buildings. "Woah!" She stood, stunned for at least a full minute before shifting her weight. Her foot hit something that made a hollow sound. Looking down, she noticed a skull. "Woah!" The inflection, that time, was completely different. It indicated surprise and alarm, instead of awe. Sailor Nassovia's alarm passed, however, as she crouched for a closer look at the skull. It appeared human enough Nearby, she noticed a few more bones. Probably the body. The senshi stood back up and prodded her cellphone.

At first, Ash was concerned by the texts she got, though sort of amused at the same time. First, because the senshi appeared to have no idea she was powered up, and second, because the first worry she had was that her mother would blame her for youma wrecking the house. Goodness, who had awakened this child? They had very obviously not been doing their job. It was concerning, though, that she hadn't known she was powered up. She was just at home... shining her power signature like a little beacon to call all sorts of trouble down on her.
The guardian began a message back reassuring the girl, but the bing of a new arrival called her attention. What? In space?
Oh goodness... she had taken her message about travel to heart and zipped off to her planet in a panic. And skeletons?Quote: Its okay! Just stay calm. All senshi worlds were killed off a thousand years ago. There shouldn't be anything alive there, so I suppose skeletons would be a thing, but you shouldn't get attacked by anything. When you're ready to come back, all you have to do is concentrate on Earth and press the button again and the phone will take you home. You can look around for a while, if you want to. You won't be able to go back for a couple of weeks once you leave, because you'll need time to build up the magic again for teleportation. What does it look like there? Without a direct question or really any sort of idea what Nassovia was walking into, Ash was sort of at a loss what to tell her now. She'd... just have to stay available, she guessed.

After reading Ash's response, the senshi of the asteroid took another glance around. The place did look like it had died off. There was nothing alive here. Not even plants. Even the more intact buildings looked time-scarred. It was like a ghost town. No. This was a whole world. Quote: its a ghost town world ash Deciding to explore more, Sailor Nassovia made her way toward the closest collection of impressive buildings, weaving around the large craters that pocked the pavement. Glancing into one, she saw an odd black spike at the center and a handful of skeletons laying around it, tossed in place like bony rag dolls. The senshi hurried on. Approaching what appeared to be an intersection, Nassovia paused as something glinting caught her eye. Looking over, she noticed colorful shards of shattered crystal refracting the somber sunlight. They spilled out from a fallen structure that reminded Nassovia of a lamp post. She picked up a larger shard of crystal.

It was sort of hard to get a feel for what was going on through pure text, one party across the galaxy while another was behind a computer in a dim room. Ash shifted in her seat, the strain of prolonged sitting making her restless. She couldn't exactly abandon her post though... she'd gotten the poor girl off planet, what sort of guardian would she be if she just left her there to fend for herself?
Not for the first time, Ash wished she could just take the HQ computers with her. It would be so much more convenient.
Ghost town. That wasn't much of a surprise, since what she knew of senshi worlds pointed at them having died off hundreds of years ago. It wasn't like she was going to find anything living there... but the 'holoes' thing perked her up.
Like... holograms? Surely not... but maybe? Nassovia seemed to be exploring, so Ash took her time in her reply, sort of along for the ride.Quote: Of course its a ghost town, I did tell you there wasn't anything alive there. There should be lots of ruins though, unless your world didn't build things. I would have to see it to say. You can certainly bring things home. Its possible to carry stuff back and forth as long as you are holding onto it at the time. You can bring people there too, but I think your limit is probably two people at a time? Its also not a good idea to bring people there who aren't senshi and knights. Part of not sharing your identity and what not. You should also be careful what you bring to Earth. If its a plant or something, I don't know what it would do if it mixed with Earth species. I don't know much about invasive species and things like that.

While she waited for Ash to respond, Sailor Nassovia continued down the cratered street toward a couple smaller, somewhat impractical-looking buildings. There appeared to be something smashed into the foundation of one of them. Something large. Something metal. Something that looked an awful lot like a spaceship. Spacecar? Whatever it was, it looked like it was a vehicle of some sort. Smaller than a minivan. Through an open door, she thought she could see - Hold that thought. Her phone was chiming. Glancing over Ash's reply, Nassovia replied with a simple before searching her person and deciding that stuffing the crystal shard behind her belt might be the best place to store it for now. A thought occurred to her. Quote: can i take pictures with this phone Then she remembered the vehicle and approached it. Careful to avoid the broken glass, she placed her hand on the window frame and peered inside to see a skeleton pinned under the crumpled interior of the opposite side of the vehicle. More bones were scattered in a somewhat orderly fashion in what appeared to be the driver's seat. And suddenly, those skeletons had faces. The hovercar was still intact and so were the people. An older, almost ancient woman with white curls of hair spilling from her braided bun was being helped into the passenger side by a younger woman with pale nectarine hair pulled back into a ponytail which was arranged into bulbs. The landscape was brighter, greener. The buildings were in good repair and the morning glories which climbed on almost everything were in full bloom. "Oola, you'll let me know when you get there?" Sailor Nassovia heard her own voice speak the words. The ancient woman turned abruptly to the senshi, her face stubbornly smiling despite the fear and sorrow which hid behind her eyes, "I will. Stop wasting your time with me, dearie. You have to get to the others."The nectarine-haired woman shut the door and picked up a couple pieces of luggage before tucking herself into the vehicle as well. Everyone's movements and faces suggested a sense of urgent foreboding - as if they only had so much time before something exploded. The chauffeur sped off. And Nassovia turned to face the planet as it is now. The last colors of life fading like a memory. Looking at the structures around the vehicle, she could tell that this wasn't the exact place she.....remembered? Was that the right word? It felt more like a hallucination....not that she knew what a hallucination felt like, but it sounded right. Quote: ash i think im going crazy

Quote: Of course you can. Its just like a normal phone, it just has a few extra special features. If you take a picture of a senshi, a knight or a cat, you can register them in your phone to call them later. It would be a good idea to register everyone you meet in case you need to contact them later, but its up to you. Knights and Cats have different communication devices than senshi do. They might not register perfectly every time, but its worth a try. Time stretched after Ash replied to the first question and the silver cat folded herself into a comfortable loaf as she waited. When the computer pinged again with a new message, it woke her up out of her half doze and she blinked lazily at the screen... at least until she read the message and concern surfaced.Quote: What's happening? Are you okay? Maybe you should come back to Earth... if its dangerous there, you don't need to put yourself at risk.

Noticing the first reply, which came in while she was tripping, Nassovia wasted no time in finding the camera feature on her phone and snapping a photo of the vehicle and typed out an explanation: Quote: so i was looking at this thing and all fo a suddn i saw people and i think they are some of these skeletones but they werent skeletons and the car thing wasn't reckt and then they wer eskeletones again and it was reckt arfter all A new message chimed its arrival just as Nassovia sent the photo. Quote: this place is cool but if i am tripping on poisson gas im not staying Inhaling deeply, Nassovia held her breath and took a few moments to snap some hurried photos of the scenery.

Seeing things? Well... that would normally be concerning, but this was a senshi on her homeworld. There were other explanations for that.Quote: I don't think its poison gas? Do you feel sick at all? When a senshi goes to their world, they're closer to their power source. Strange things can happen there, but one of the more normal things is you can get visions of your past life on your world. If you saw a car and then saw the car new... you were probably saw it in your other life and you just remembered that. Its a common occurrence among senshi and knights. I don't know how to tell if you're breathing in anything harmful so just... pay attention to your body and if you start feeling weird or sick. Its your homeworld, you should be safe there.

After reading Ash's most recent reply, Sailor Nassovia released the breath that she had been holding, assured that the air was safe. Quote: does that mean these skeletons are people i new The vision had felt distinctly as if the vehicle was supposed to be taking those people somewhere safe. The thought made her shudder with unease. Nassovia did not like dwelling on the feeling of unease. The fact that these visions were common did not sit well with her Quote: i think im going to go home anyway Quote: got to save some fun for next time wink The senshi paused to send the photos she had taken of the scenery off to Ash as well before preparing to think of home. Quote: thanks for your help ash smile Didn't this all start with Ash's request for help? Ah well, Nassovia had completely forgotten all about that.

Quote: They might be, if you remember them as people. Maybe you even know their names, it might come back to you sometime. As I understand it, the memories start off sort of vague and weak and get stronger as you do. There was only so much Ash could tell Nassiovia about planet travel and memories... everything she'd heard from her senshi. She had yet to actually be to one of their planets, much to her disappointment. Maybe someday, though. Hopefully soon.
The last message perked the Guardian up and she smiled gently, her tail gently sweeping behind her.Quote: Its no trouble at all, Darling, I am happy to help! Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with or if you have more questions. You have my number now. ;3 I look forward to hearing from you again!
