Tumblr drama: Keren lives for fandom wank. She checks her dashboard on the regular and is always current on the latest gossip and can’t help but contribute to it. She hops into almost every discussion, whether it involves her or not, and is quick to defend her friends or take a rival down a peg. She's gotten into trouble in the past for stirring up drama - never enough to spiral out into the real world, but there are definitely corners of the web where she's not welcome.
Playing with her hair- Coming up with new and inventive ways to braid her pigtails is a full time job. No matter how neatly Keren’s hair is done up, there will almost always be one lock she’s pulled loose in order to twirl it around her fingers. She will also occasionally extend this to playing with other people’s hair, subjecting her friends to new and unusual hairstyles on a regular basis.
Nightmare Fetishist- Keren is not-so-secretly fascinated with everything gross and gory. Slasher films, guro comics, and r/WTF all tickle her fancy as she looks for new and improved ways to prove how much of a stone cold badass she is – would you expect anything less from a young lady who grew up reading her father’s pathology quarterlies for fun?
Basketball- Keren’s been playing basketball her whole life, so she’s pretty good at it! She plays center on DCU’s women’s team, and is known for being aggressive on the court. While she doesn’t dream of playing professionally, it’s still her preferred mode of exercise and she’s always up for a game of pickup.
Virtues:
Tough- Keren isn’t a squeamish little girl. Blood, guts, and gore don’t gross her out, a little bit of pain won’t discourage her, and name-calling won’t make her cry. She will forge ahead where others might shy away, and prides herself on being able to take a licking and keep on kicking. Her definition of “self-improvement” is pushing her boundaries and desensitizing herself to violence and trauma. Simply put, Keren is an expert at picking herself up and dusting herself off after a setback.
Motivated- Keren is good at setting and accomplishing goals: once she has a clear understanding of what she wants, she doesn’t stop until she gets it. She’s academically in the top percentile of her class, and pursues her fitness goals with enthusiasm and aplomb. She works hard. She plays hard. Go hard, or go home.
Open- Keren has an easy time of talking to people about pretty much anything. She shares the details of her personal life willingly, as well as her opinions about basically everything, and she doesn't beat around the bush. If you come to her for advice, she will quickly tell you exactly what she thinks about your situation and what you should do about it, even if it’s not the most tactful approach.
Principled- Keren knows her convictions and she sticks to them. She has a rigid moral code that says good is good and bad is bad, and while not everyone may agree with her actions, at least she is consistent. She is a relatively straightforward person who does her best to behave according to what she considers right and wrong and encourages others to do likewise. With Keren, what you see is what you get.
Flaws:
Vulgar- Keren has a foul mouth. She curses frequently and without restraint, although she can filter when the situation calls for it. She discusses sex openly, whether to brag about her own conquests, accuse others of impropriety, or just suggest that someone needs to get laid. She’s not polite with people she doesn’t like – she’s not polite even with people she does like, to be completely honest. She knows it can be off-putting, and she doesn’t really care.
Ruthless- Keren doesn’t like to pull punches. Once set her mind on something, she won’t stop until she gets what she wants and she doesn’t care what happens to whoever gets in her way. If she has a rivalry with you, she won’t stop competing until she’s sure she’s won, and she hates when competitions end before she’s good and ready for them to end or having to settle for a draw. She is nicer in person than she is from behind a screen, and far more polite to your face than she will ever be behind your back.
Egocentric- Keren thinks the world revolves around her. She considers people first and foremost based on how helpful they are or are not to her, and doesn’t like to waste time on “pointless” acquaintances. According to her, you either agree with her viewpoints or you don’t, and there’s no gray area or room for compromise – and she hates to be forced to consider moral dilemmas. When she wants something, other people’s feelings take a back seat to her own, and she just loves to be able to say “I told you so” and be right.
Reckless- Keren charges ahead where others are wise to hold back. She thinks that disagreements are best solved with physical violence and is quick to resort to fisticuffs when conversations break down. She doesn’t care how big or strong her opponent is – she’ll fight them, and if she gets hurt, so what, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
