With a great huff, Araie fell back against the tall tree trunk and cursed quietly to herself. Whatever that beast was, it certainly hadn't liked her one bit. She knew she should have done more research about the creatures in Tale before she had come here. Maybe if she had done that, she wouldn't have gotten so beat up in that fight.

With a wince, Araie summoned a small amount of water and ran it over the deep wound on her arm. That had cleared out most of the dirt that had gotten in the wound, but she was no healer. She had no idea how to fix this and it was hurting badly. The cut was deep and a glaring red color against her pale blue skin. The water she had used had wiped away the blood that had dripped down her arm, but she was sure more of that was coming. Araie glanced down at her ankle and sighed. It had gotten twisted pretty badly in the fight. She tried to slowly move it to one side, but pain shot up her leg when she did so. Nope. She wasn't going to be walking on that any time soon.

Great. Now she was trapped under a tree in the middle of an area she knew absolutely nothing about. She had used a lot of her magic trying to fight off that thing and she wasn't sure if she would be able to defend herself from another one again. She had really managed to get herself into trouble this time.

"Way to get yourself all beat up, Ari. Now what are you going to do?" Araie said to herself. "I hope somebody comes this way soon and is in a better mood that than that creature."

Eziya had been traveling along with her merry band of healers through Tale, learning their ways and exploring more of the land. It had been an interesting time trying to figure out healing, but she had really started to pick things up. She only knew simple techniques, but hopefully the longer she stayed with them the more she would learn. They had stopped for the moment to rest and set up camp, but Eziya was still pumped to explore the area, enjoying every new sight she came across. She had spent the entirety of her time in Jauhar until this point, and she refused to waste what little time they had before they moved on.

"I'm going on ahead to explore a little more before we settle down!" she called back to her group before running off, knowing they would try to stop her if she stayed a second longer. She would be perfectly fine on her own and they just needed to trust her on that. Humming softly to herself as she walked, she made sure to keep an eye out for any dangerous creature around. She had read up a bit on the local creatures, but not enough to remember names and such. She would really have to get more reading in if she was going to be a better explorer. Wandering around more, she spotted an odd sight in the distance. Though perhaps it was just the Tale heat getting to her. "Now why would someone be sitting out in the middle of nowhere like this. It doesn't seem like a very good plan."

Araie perked up when she heard voices in the distance. Perhaps that meant someone was coming? Unless she was imagining things. She certainly hoped she wasn't. She didn't think she was in bad enough shape to be hallucinating already.

"Hey, hey! Somebody help! I'm over here!" Araie shouted, wincing as she sat up straighter. She hated asking for help from someone, especially a stranger. Normally, she would rather crawl back home than ask for help. Unfortunately, she was in pretty bad shape and she really did need help this time. "I'm in pretty bad shape over here!" Araie fell back against the tree, grasping the wound on her arm a little tighter. She was sure she looked like a mess. Whoever it was that found her was certainly not going to be impressed by her.

Pulling her hand away from her wound for a few seconds, Araie sketched a rune into the ground, infusing it with her magic. The air around it shimmered for a few seconds as she continued to charge it. When it was ready, the air around her shifted and picked up some of the dirt from the ground around her. It rose into the sky and made a message in the sky that Araie could only hope was readable. It was only there for a few seconds, but hopefully whoever it was that she had heard would be able to see where it was.

Eziya was shocked when she heard a voice actually coming from the figure by the tree. Why in the world would someone be out here alone? She had been told by the other healers that traveling in any region right after the battle was not safe, especially if one was alone. So why was this person out by themselves? Perhaps they were an adventurer like her! Though as far as adventuring went she hadn't done much other than traveling with her merry band of healers. She had learned so much from them, but they weren't exactly the adventuring time. The Shifter ran a hand through her hair, debating on if she should go over to the woman or not. It could be a trap for all she knew. A way to lure her in and then kidnap her to make her to terrible things.

"Or perhaps my imagination is just overreacting once again. That is always a possibility." She shrugged, slowly walking towards the figure. If it was a trap then she would at least be somewhat prepared, and if it wasn't then the person looked like they needed help. She just hoped she could help them and not get mugged by anyone.

"Hello there! Do you need some help?" Eziya called out, continuing to move forward to the girl leaned up against the tree.

"Yes! I got really badly hurt and I've lost a lot of blood!" Araie yelled, her voice getting softer as she spoke. How long had she been out here? And why was this place so darn hot? She never thought she would have said this before, but she missed the snow and ice. Her outfit wasn't really suited for warm weather like this. If she survived this little mishap of hers, she was going to have to get a new outfit or something. Traveling all over the place required multiple different outfits for different types of weather. She really should have thought this through more.

Araie's eyelids grew heavy and she blinked slowly. A part of her knew she shouldn't close her eyes. She should ignore the call of sleep and force herself to stay awake. Falling asleep when so badly injured could not be good for her health. But she was so, so tired. All of the recent days of activity was catching up to her and sleep was becoming a much more attractive option. Surely a small little nap couldn't hurt that much? Hopefully whoever she had heard was a healer or knew one that was close by.

"Hey! Hey don't you go falling asleep on me! That is the worst thing you can do! Or so I've been told," Eziya exclaimed, muttering the last part more to herself than to the injured woman. She really didn't need to know she was only a healer in training, it may freak her out to know how new she was at all of this. Eziya knelt down before the ice earthling, shaking her gently to try and keep her awake. "Listen I need you to stay awake and tell me what happened so I can fix you up. You can't be falling asleep on me now. Not when I'm about to rescue you and all. I know it's hot out here, but you need to stay strong just a little bit longer." Eziya pulled a water canteen out of her pack and held it to the girl's lips, hoping it wasn't too much effort for her to drink from it. If so then they were in more trouble than she thought.

When Araie felt the water touch her lips, she couldn't help but grab the canteen and take several deep gulps of water. She felt really dehyrdrated and tired and she knew that wasn't a good combination.

"Heh. I won't give up that easily," Araie laughed although it broke down into a cough. "I'm pretty tough. I won't be dying on you anytime soon. My name is Araie, by the way." Taking the stranger's words to heart, Araie forced her eyes to stay open. She tried to straighten herself against the tree so that wasn't slumping near as badly anymore. She kept her eyes focused on the woman in front of her, tilting her head somewhat. She had never really seen anybody that looked quite like she did. It was interesting to say the least.

"Good, good. No falling asleep. Just keep talking to me or something and I'll get you taken care of, miss Araie. My name is Eziya, in case you were curious who your savior might be," the Shifter chuckled, rummaging through her pack until she found her healing herbs and bandages. She sat cross-legged in front of her, quickly getting to work on crushing the herbs into a paste to slather onto the bandage. Once she thought she had ground it up enough, she gently coated the bandage in it.

"Now then, this may sting - a lot," Eziya explained, hoping she would be at least somewhat prepared for the bandage. She went to work lifting up her shirt enough so she could better see the wound and smiled hesitantly at the Ice Earthling before putting the coated bandage on the wound. She knew it would hurt, but it was really the only way to clean up and fix such a bad wound.

Araie winced and grabbed at the grass below her, desperately trying to find some way of distracting herself from the pain of being bandaged. She swore the healing was hurting more than the wound itself, but she knew she had brought this on herself. If only she had been a little bit more careful, she wouldn't be in this spot. She wasn't going to get angry at the healer for just doing her job.

"That....ow," Araie finished weakly, her voice soft. "I got myself messed up pretty badly, didn't I? How does it look?"

"You don't really want to know how it looks. Just know that you will be fine and there is nothing to worry about," Eziya nodded, continuing her work on the Ice girl. It looked pretty bad, but nothing that wouldn't heal over time. She just may potentially have a scar there. Not too big of a deal. Everyone had scars nowadays. Hers wouldn't be too visible either unless she wore some pretty revealing things. And as an Ice Earthling she doubted she had anything like that with it being cold and all. So lucky for her it wouldn't be seen at all! Though hopefully she was okay with potentially having a scar. She couldn't work that great of magic yet.

Araie nodded and let the healer finish her work, doing her best to not wince or hide away from her. It was painful, but she would handle it.

"Do you mind if I talk to keep myself distracted from what's going on? Because I'm going to talk. Do you know of any villages or settlements nearby? I'm not used to this place and I got myself pretty lost, so I have absolutely no idea where to go. Would you mind giving me some directions after you get done here?" Araie asked. She hated asking for help so much, but she would rather ask for help and get somewhere safe than die. She was far too young to die now.

"Well I'm really just passing through. I do know there's a little village named Isd nearby though. It's fairly close. Other than that I'm not too sure there's anything close by. I'm just traveling through myself," Eziya explained, trying to be more gentle as she watched her wince. she was still learning so she wasn't as good at it, but she could fix her up. "You are welcome to travel with us if you would like, however. We can help you get to wherever you need to be."

Araie nodded, finally relaxing somewhat as the pain in her body started to fade. She had grown tired of traveling by herself since she got so used to having a constant companion. It was because of the fact she was alone that she had gotten herself into so much trouble when she had tried to attack that creature earlier. Maybe traveling with someone would be good for her.

"I...are you sure you want me to come around? As you can tell, I tend to get myself into a lot more trouble than help that I can offer people," Araie asked, making a vague motion at the wounds she had suffered.

"Oh you'll be just fine with us! I promise there won't be any problem. Nayvin and the rest of the group will be glad to have someone else there, especially if you'd like to learn anything from them. They're always willing to teach someone new. If you'd like," Eziya explained, holding out her hand to help the Ice girl up. She wasn't sure if the girl would want to do anything of the sort, but she was welcome to come if she liked. Problems or not, they would willingly accept any newcomer to their little band of people.

Araie grabbed Eziya's hand and stood up with a bit of assistance, surprised that there was only a little pain in her side. This healer was quite talented, even if she was young. Then again, she was fairly young herself. She shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.

"I would love that. Does anybody in your little group know magic besides healing magic? I've been studying magic for quite some time, but I've never been able to get a handle on healing magic very well. It seems my nature lends itself more to destructive magic," Araie laughed, smiling at Eziya. "Regardless, thank you again for all you've done for me. I don't think I can every properly repay you for what you've done today." Araie took a few hesitant steps and grinned when she felt that she could walk almost normally again. She should be fully recovered within a few hours, if not sooner.
