Epsilon:*Sitting on a roof under the water tower on it. Curled up in a blanket to avoid the snow*

Dmitry: *prowls around near the docks, waiting for the fishing boat to come in so he could grab something for Epsilon and himself. The boat comes in and the fisherman instinctively tosses out one huge fish to Dmitry so the cat won't cause trouble for him. Dmitry makes off with one huge fish and trots toward the water tower, taking to secret paths so tomcats won't bother him. His bi-colored eyes looks around then lands on Epsilon then he quickly runs over to drop the fish in front of her* I deliver the dinner!

Epsilon: *Smiles and sits up, still favoring her injured side.* Thanks Dmitry! This is so nice. Its so cold out i haven't wanted to go hunting. *She said as she settled down to eat* Your going to eat with me right? *Smiles*

Dmitry: *looks at his friend in concern because that injury was kinda serious last time he checked so hence him heading out frequently to gather food and things she needs so she don't have to worry about moving around* Anything for my friend! I have gained a reputation with fishermen so they usually just toss me a large fish so I would leave them alone... and keep their boats cleared out of rats. *grins crookedly as he pads over to her side, giving her a lick* But of course but you get the best parts of the fish, my dear.
Epsilon:*Smiles as she nuzzles him* sounds like a plan. Thanks. I still want you to eat plenty though. *She said as she started eating happily* Thats good. I stay away from the humans as much as i can since i was free. I don't like them...they always try to pet and pet too hard and touch things...and little humans poke at eyeballs...not fun.

Dmitry: *purrs at the nuzzling and he grins at her widely before he nods* Don't worry, my dear! I will definitely eat well tonight. *eyes this huge fish that would sate both of them easily and he starts eating as well* ... *pauses in his eating when Epsilion starts talking* Ah yeah.. those little humans are terrible. I had one when I was living in a house. Too many of them were running around... *grimaces at the thought*
Epsilon: Yes its not been good memories im getting over from my humans. They were very grabby and rough with me. Im glad i left. *she said as she kept eating. hen she had eatin her fill she sat back nd cleaned her hands* Im glad you stuck around to help me out. I would be lost after what happened if not for you.

Dmitry: *glances over at his female friend as he contiunes to eat in silence while she talks since he found out that he enjoys listening to her voice* Ugh... those humans have no concept of personal space or where they are allowed to touch us. I was kicked by the large male human when I stratched smaller human for pulling on my tail.. *smiles at her dryly as he is done eating so he drags the remains few feet away from them so scavengers can get to it and he plunks back down next to her* Oh... *feels the heat rising up in his cheeks* I am just glad he's not around anymore.... and I felt this bond with you after what we went through.. I don't know what that means but I am not complaining about it. *smiles once again as he starts cleaning his face with his paw*

Epsilonn: Connection huh? Well what ever it is im just glad that you helped. I don't...wanna know what might have happened if you hadn't. *She said as she pawed a fish scale off the males face gently* Im glad your still about. My humans used to toss me in the air and catch me..most of the time...And i scratched one of the silly kids once too. They stopped feeding me then and i ran away.

Dmitry: *shrugs* I don't know if its a connection or its just aftermath of traumaziting event we went through but.. *he exhales as he shakes his head, knowing that the tomcat just succeeded in one thing and that is fortifying his strong distrust of males in general* Its over and done with. *almost jerked away when Epsilon reached over and pawed a scale off his face and he grins sheepishly at his reaction, he's still very jumpy because he literally watched a man die in front of him* Oh.. is it fun? my humans don't do that to me... *shakes his head* It makes me wonder why they kidnap us then turns around and leave us to die on our own without food and water...

Epsilon:*Smiles at him and shook her head* No not fun. It was so scary. I was not sure what to think of it. I don't want to fly that is for sure. *She said as she lay down and licked at her sore shoulder* Ya im not sure...i wish that i had just been left alone to live with my parents. Their soo nice....i haven't been able to find them in a while though...i miss them and wish they were around.

Dmitry: *cocks his head to side* I would have thought humans are more smarter than that.... *shrugs as he lets that topic slide while he hunkers down next to Epsilon, realizing that he's shivering* Humans are so greedy.. they are kidnapping cats all over the place without considering our feelings.. our families' feelings.... *shakes his head in disgust as he sighs more* Your parents might still be around.. don't you think they are nearby? or did you come from faraway place?

Epsilon: I have looked....i hear that they live in the forest near the city but i cant find them. I know they are here...they wouldn't go any place else im sure. So i just need to search more. But its ok cause im not alone now. *She said as she leaned in and bopped her head against his and smiled.* Humans don't think that animals like us have feelings or emotions. Were things to keep and pet and forget about when we do something wrong. *She said softly*

I will protect you and make sure nobody ever harm you again in any way. *fur on back of his neck rises as he remembers the emotions he felt that day he saw Epsilon being harmed and threatened* We will find them.. it might take awhile but one way or other, you will be renunited with your family. *instinctively wraps his tail around Epsilon's body to keep her warm as he shrugs little bit* Seems like it... if only we could really show them all, eh..? *sighs little bit*

Epsilon:*Pulls the blanket aroudnt he two of them and purrs softly as she lays her head on her paws* Yes if only. I wish they could understand the pain we go through. Its ust not fair to us that they treat us like nothing. Im not nothing and you arnt either. *yawns* yes im sure that we will find them its going to be ok though. Im doing ok now. And thanks. I'll be around here for you too and make sure no one hurts you.

Dmitry: *stretches his body out to get the kinks out of his muscles before he curls up against Epsilon, purring quietly* One of those days, the tables will be turned and we can simply show them that we are better than them and won't try to kidnap them from their own families and traumatize them like they did to us... *looks at his friend* Mm.... but nobody can hurt me. I am strong and big! I can fend off for myself *puffs his chest up in a sign of macho display but it was ruined by a cute yawn he did while he rests his head near hers on his own paws* Knight in shining armor...... *closes his eyes little bit, remembering one of his humans saying that but he never really understood it*

Epsilon:*They slept well over the night and she woke early in the morning as the sun came in and touched over her face and she couldn't sleep any more. Yawning and stretching she looked at Dmitry and wondered what they might do that day.*

Dmitry: *twitches and flinches occassionally as he is having a dream of hunting or something.* Me-meeeww.... *his consiciousness rises to the surface as he felt his friend stir and he opens his eyes sleepily, looking over at Espilon* G'Morning... *yawns widely as he stretches out, sitting up and looks at her* Breakfast? or should we go for a stroll? *says in groggy manner because he never liked waking up when sun rises up*

Epsilon:*Smiles as she shakes her head* Just food i think. I am not sure im up to a real stroll. Maybe just down to the dumpsters or that market across the street for something to eat. What do you think? *Smiles and cleans her wound some more and smiles as she shook her arm out.* Does that sound good?

Dmitry: *glances at the wound and there is a hint of concern in his bi-colored eyes before meeting hers with a smile* That sounds good to me. Maybe we would find some meat left overs in those dumpster. *nods as he stands up, stretching his body out more* And we need to find new dressing for that wound of yours... *frowns little bit* At least it didn't start smelling horrible so you will be ok..

Epsilon: Yes! I remember a bit about healing so i keep it clean and dry so its all good. I like that idea lets get going to the dumpsters. *She said as she set out to find a safe way down to go food searching.* I think that your doing a good job helping me and theres nothing to worry about it getting infected.

Dmitry: *nods as his eyes flickers to her bandaged shoulder, he couldn't help but to fret about it because he have heard so many stories about how infections caused cats to lose their limbs or in extreme cases, their lives.* Meat shop or fish shop, m'dear? *grins to chase off that heaviness that is hovering over him while following her since she's more familiar with this area than he is so its better for him to just trust her* Well good... I could get that stinky but sharp smelling thing that humans are fond of drinking since I have heard it would help if it ever become stinky like pus.. *nods little bit, not sure what he can do right now but so far she seems to be recovering okay but he couldn't help but to hover over her like a nervous motherhen*
Epsilon:*Smiles as she laughs softly* Dont need to worry that much. *She said as she made her way slowly down the fire escape.* I think fish! I like fish! *She said carefully going down the steps to the street. When she got to the sidewalk she sat to take a break a moment and breathed softly.* Ok that took a lot of effort. But im ok really. *She said as she smiled and got up again to head across the street*
Dmitry: *feels his cheeks heating up with an embarssed blush when Epsilon noticed that he have been motherhenning her .. probably little too much while he mimicks her steps down the fire escape because there were some moments where he almost fell off it.* Fish? I think today they are doing grilled fish on the huge black thing outside! Wanna see if they will give us some scraps? *perks his ears up excitedly as he trots up to Epsilon when she is taking a breath* You sure you ok? *tilts his head to side little bit but didn't press the topic when she gets up to move on, his fluffy tail swaying back and forth happily in the air while he pads along with Epsilon* What kind of fish is your favorite? *looks at her while they are crossing the street*
Epsilon:*Smiles as she limps her way across the street with him, trying to hide her limp from the humans so none of the 'nicer' ones would try to help her.* Tuna and Salmon. I like Shrimp too but i want some salmon if they have it. *She said as she sniffed up at the smokey grill with the human standing there. She smiled and mewed softly, making sure not to show how hurt she was to the human. She kept her and Dmitry at a good distance so that no one could grab them.*
Dmitry: *stays close to Epsilon because he is aware that humans are around and will try to 'capture' them again and he eyes some humans whom were pointing at them and going "Aww! Here Kitty kitty kitty!"* Ooh.. those are very delicious. I am fond of trout and bluefish myself *turning his head toward the human who is manning the grill and he sits on his hunches, trying to look cute but there is a wary look in his eyes. When the human looks around quickly then makes a plate of salmon, carp and other kind of seafood then slowly approaches them* ... he's coming... *quickly gets up and takes few steps back, eyeing the human*
Epsilon:*Smiles as the male looks at them and glares at the humans talking to them. She hissed at them but kept her focus on the food as the male came over with the plate. She backed up with him and fluffed her fur out and let it show that she wasn't having any of them touch them. when the plate was down she made sure the huaman had backed off before she hurried forward and happily ate what was cool enough to eat safely.* Mmm so yummy!! Im glad that they were willing to share today.
Dmitry: *was in his 'I am ready to run' pose when the human approached them while speaking to them in soft voice and he didn't move until the human moved off to the grill once again, that's when he moved in to the plate after waiting for his friend to start eating first* Looks like they are getting accustomed to having us around. I know I have hunted some mice for that human before so I am guessing this is the payment *grins at her as he eats his fill happily then sits on his hunches, licking his face* I like this particular human.. he does feed me sometimes. Now you know where to go if you get hungry *grins at while he contiunes to groom his face* So.... tell me little bit about yourself
Epsilon: *Smiles happily as she sits and cleans her self off and licks her lips.* I agree i think that they are used to us. We do help out when we can and i don't steal anything thats not in the trash. *She said as she looked at him* Whats to tell really? Ive been out here on my own for a few months. I like to be out side but not when its dark and snowing like last night. I like to be around others but i haven' found many who like being around me too. ITs hard to make friends when your worried the new one your meeting might...attack you ya' know?
Dmitry: *chuckles little bit* I couldn't say the same when it comes to stealing. I have made a reputation of myself, that's why I started sucking up to that human because he does various different kind of food like beef, chicken and seafood. *shrugs as he grins at her widely, happy to see that happy smile back on her pretty face and he nods little bit while listening to her talk* Ah.. yeah... that kind of experience would do that to us... *grimaces as he sighs little bit* Sometimes it have to take some caution tossed to the wind.. but most of time, I simply stays anti social. But I don't understand why anyone would want to be mean or attack you..
Epsilon: Thanks for that. And ya we'll have to come back here soon!! I like this place. as long as they all keep their distance. *She said as she moved along own the street and bck across and towards the apartments that her water tower was on. She sat at the wall under the fire escape though not having the energy to go up yet. She sat and looked at him* Ya well i'll be friends with you for now and not worry about it later making more friends unless i find my family. And i will never understand why someone would want to attack me...some cats just attack all cats they dont know when they see them. And some males just....like younger girls like me...and attack them cause they cant control themselves i guess...
Dmitry: *follows Epsilon in musing silence as he listens to her voice* That sounds like a good plan to me. I haven't found my family yet and I don't think I would since I remember taking a really long trip from my home I had with them to the humans that kidnapped me... *shrugs as he sits down in front of her, knowing that she's not fully recovered so he simply just followed her pace patiently and allows her to take the lead whenever she wants* I guess there needs to be a balance in everything.. good versus bad. Looks like bad is winning in this area of town *makes a distasteful expression as he could remember that dirty guy that tried to hurt Epsilon and succeeded, somewhat* Hrrrmph..... it is very annoying.... girls shouldn't have to feel like they need to learn how to defend themselves or look over their shoulder all the time...
Epsilon:*Nods as she pulls her tail close and lays down.* Yes its no fun having to be a girl sometimes. Lots of males think they can just take any one that looks cute and do...what ever to them. To do things just cause 'we look cute or innocent or like were asking for it'....ya jerks... *She said as she yawned and looked at him.* Your not like that. Your nice. Im glad your nice....i want friends in my life and your the best. *She said with a smile as she rested her head on her tail and smiled*
Dmitry: *grunts as he sighs while nuzzling Epsilon's face, grooming her forehead where she missed a spot* Yeah... A lot of men need to reprogram themselves to get rid of that kind of thinking. Females are more important than we all ever imagine.. if it wasn't for you and others, we all would have died out long time ago. *takes in a deep breath as he shakes his head* Sometimes I think they need a dose of their own medicine so they will understand how you and other ladies feel when that happens to them... *grumps little bit as he settles down fully next to her* Awww.... *blushes little bit* I am just a regular guy.. I am nothing special
Epsilon:*Smiles as she lets him clean her.* I like that your different. its nice to know that someone is not out for...one thing. *She said softly as she looked at him.* You are special. Your...you saved me. Your more then special your my hero. *She said with a smile as she blushed and looks at her feet and wiggled a little nervously* Your nice. I wish the others could know what it feels like too...least that one is dead now. He wont hurt another. *she said as she sighed softly and looked at him with a smile.*
Dmitry: *scrunches his nose up at the mention of that 'one thing' and he shakes his head while sitting down in front of her* I think that 'one thing' is very gross.. and I hope I don't ever do that because.... ew.. *shudders and sticks his tongue out little bit but when she said that he's her hero, his eyes went wide and he felt the heat rising up his neck to his cheeks* Oh..... a hero eh? I am simply a guy that don't like that kind of thing.. you know.. violence. *gives Epsilon a lick on cheek* Maybe we should go around and find more of them then kill them. *says in teasing manner before he sighs little bit, wondering how many of girls out there suffered at hands of those horrible, nasty men* I just wish he didn't target you...
