 Hello hello!
I enjoy creating roleplays, and have a few in mind.
However, I want to check with my fellow guild members as to what genre of roleplay they would like to see in this guild.
And how many people would be interested in joining a new roleplay.

Some ideas off the top of my head Classic Cop / Robber: maybe in a futuristic setting Fantasy: such as Lord of the Rings in style with a quest! Modern and underworld mix: Vampires, Werewolves, and Fae oh my! Science Fiction: Out in space, or investigating a new possibly habitable planet Any other ideas you might have? I enjoy brainstorming!
Any questions? Please ask!

The fantasy and sci-fi ideas sound really appealing! Most of the stuff I did before was fantasy, but I dont think I ever really had something like the Lord of the Rings. And let me tell you, I love the Lord of the Rings. I made my boyfriend sit through all three of the extended editions when I realized he had never seen the movies.
Back to the topic though: I've never done a cops/robbers role play before, and when I first saw it as one of your options I didn't think that was much to go on. But then I brainstormed, and realized that it was actually similar to Fallen London (as a side note: it also fall into the modern/underworld setting so there's that). If you don't know what that is, then I really suggest you look it up. Its on story nexus, and I do have to warn you, it can get pretty dark. You also might want to look up different gangsters and gangs from the American 1920's and 1930's for more ideas.

Again welcome to the guild smile
I love Lord of the Rings! I am actually doing a LOTR + Hobbit Marathon with my boyfriend right now xD Also, I started writing a fanfiction for the Hobbit a while back and hope to continue into the LOTR timeline :3 But, I've been missing the fun roleplaying gives. Hence why I made this thread.
I see! Yep, I would like to do that type of RP style, but it requires a little more time than I can give it at present sweatdrop One day perhaps!
I enjoy more of the fantasy and sci-fi roleplays. In the past I had been doing alot of Mass Effect roleplays (based off Bioware's PC game) and that was where I incorporatted the cops and robbers theme with heist, shootouts, and all sorts of fun subplots. But, I shall definitely check out Fallen London as I am not familiar with it 3nodding
I've also created quite a few school + supernatural/magic roleplays.

Hey, if fantasy is what you're more interested in, go for it! It's much easier to come up with ideas when your interests are lined up. Plus, you can never have enough fantasy role plays. yum_puddi
I've never done or even heard of an RP set in a school (probably mostly because I have less experience), but if you remember the details I'd like to hear a bit about it.
Yes please, I am definitely interested in your old RP's! Some of my favorite role plays got discontinued because too many of the players were canceling too often, or leaving the role play all together.

Indeed! 4laugh I think Enchantment Academy was one of the first rp we did together in this guild, though it was called The University of Enchantment. You were Headmaster and I was a loopy Dean! xD

Out of all the ones I read through, my favorite was probably Indentured Advocates. All of my past characters were leaning in the good/neutral alignment, and I'm really looking forward to being able to make an evil one. Doesn't have to be now, but soon would be nice (not necessarily in one of yours maybe another, I tend to be in several RP's at a time). I also liked the Dream Catchers one, it'd be interesting to be able to switch between genres so easily and still have it be relevant to the plot.

Indentured Advocates was fun! I might even have some fresh ideas for it.
Dream Catchers was fun, but a bit tricky if you don't have a good number of members for it.
...hmmm I think I might go with an Indentured Advocates reboot! 4laugh
