Violin -- Tiffany has been playing violin since she was seven. Even though this 'hobby' was foisted on her by her parents, she has embraced it, and finds it relaxing, and the challenge of learning a new piece exhilarating. She has private lessons every weekday afternoon for an hour, and will go to the part to practice for an hour every Saturday around sunset, unless she is preparing for a recital, which means - THE PRACTICING HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!
Japanese Culture -- Tiffany took an interest in her ancestral culture once she was old enough to start appreciating it. Her grandparents came over to America from Japan, and helped sparked her interest. They have a close relationship because of this. If she is reading, it is usually some historical piece - be it fiction or non. She likes to share much of her culture with others, because they think they understand but they don't.
Virtues:
Level-headed -- Tiffany is very level-headed, and calm, which helps her in heated situations, and make more rational decisions. She doesn't generally get swept away by new or complex subjects or situations. She operates largely on logic and careful calculation, and has great problem-solving skills that help her diffuse situations.
Dedicated -- If Tiffany is given a task, she will see it through until the end. She doesn't easily give up on anyone if there when someone needs her, and would give just about anything for those she cares about. Even if there is nothing she can really do, she will try and refer you to someone who can, or do everything in her power to find someone who can help. She doesn't believe in 'lost causes' and will be there until the bitter end!
Flaws:
Passive-Aggressive -- Tiffany's frustrations and anger usually manifest themselves in passive aggressive comments or actions. She is quite sneaky about it too! She is queen of back-handed complements. You generally won't know you've just been insulted until much later. She can really be a calm, calculated, evil, mean-girl when the situation arises! And she is well aware that she is passive-aggressive.
Judgmental -- Her parents always held her to a high standard, and their tough love and judgmental ways have rubbed off on her. As a result she tends to be nit-picky and judgmental. Like, 'omg, why are you doing that like that? You should be doing it this way! If you do it that way yadda yadda,' or 'you really shouldn't do x, it makes you seem like y,' etc. Of course, it can lead to conflict. She is also exceptionally hard on herself.
