She couldn’t remember the last time she was happy. After leaving his side, it felt like all the happiness was sucked out of her body. She couldn’t understand it. Why did she care so much for him? Why was he such a important person in her life? She wanted to forget him; to forget this feeling and move on. She wanted to just be free again with no worries and go about killing things like she usually did. She missed her carefree days. The days when nothing got in her way and she only had to care about herself. The days when she didn’t meet him and completely crew up her heart. Now she didn’t know if getting hurt was even worth it. If she ever met up with him again she could have to hear a speech. A stupid speech about how careless she was and how she should watch herself. She was tired of those.
She shifted from her perch, letting out an irritated growl. She was heartbroken. Completely broken without him at her side. She tried not to show it, but it reflected in her mood and especially when she killed things. She would purposely tear them apart in anger just so she could calm down for a short amount of time. She didn’t want to be like this. She had more sense then that, but she found herself slowly falling into her own madness. Her own angry filled madness.
She rose to her feet before jumping out of the tree onto the ground. She was hungry and she knew there were some deer nearby because she could smell them. She wanted a big kill too. A buck or something of similar build. She would drag it back to her perch and leave it there for days if it’s big enough. Usually she didn’t hunt big animals, but there wasn’t any reason for her not to. She had tried eating berries or even plants. Neither of them tasted right to her. Unlike her twin sister, she was born with fangs. She had the means to rip flesh off of another. They understood and that was all she really needed.
She flicked her tail and began walking through the forest. Her talons digging into the earth as she walked. Her only reason for living was never to be heard from again. He wasn’t dead; she simply believed she would never see him again.
She stopped moving when she heard the soft footsteps of hooves in the distance. She crouched down really low and began to stalk the sounds, inching closer and closer ever so slowly.
Dinner was close, she just had to time it right so she could catch it.

Sama'el walked, as quietly as he could, through the woods. He had wandered from where his mother was currently camped, and wanted to see what he could find in the area. His... almost ink or maybe smoke like wings and tail were tight against his body as he made his way around the tight spots. It was going to be interesting to see how this went, and what came of it. Unfamiliar places... Perhaps he could find something useful.
When he caught a whiff of the nearby deer, he immediately attempted to crouch lower, and to see if he could move even more quietly. He was well aware he couldn't take a deer down, not at this point in his life... But if he could, he'd sneak up on the herd, and see if he could slap one on the rump, to prove to himself his superior skills in forest movement. Or at least what he hoped where superior skills.
Sometimes he wasn't truly sure about that part, as his front claws occasionally made it a touch difficult to prevent some noises... their size was a distinct disadvantage when it came to avoiding sticks. Or at least that's how he saw it.

Chosovi's head rose slightly when she heard a sound of another. There was something there and it wasn’t the deer. She didn’t have time to worry about it through as she crept through the bush seeing her target right in front of her. It was almost too easy. But then she heard a twig snap, which sent the deer scurrying off except during a time like this she knew she had to act fast. So she bolted after her target and took the buck down fighting him a little bit. He was bigger then she thought and she even got kicked a few times sending sensations of pain through her body. She was use to pain so this was no different. She ended it’s life quickly and looked around for whatever it was that mad the noise. She knew it wasn’t her. She had spent a lot of time perfecting her stealth and a simple mistake like that would haunt her for a while. It use to when she was younger.
She stepped away from her kill and walked over to the bushes flicking her tail in slight annoyance. She didn’t speak. She inched closer and stopped wondering if it was even worth it. For all she knew it could have been a squirrel or something smaller. She didn’t know what it was and it didn’t really matter. Licking the blood form her muzzle, she wandered back over to her kill sinking her teeth into it’s flesh. If it were something more treacherous she would know they were coming. She kept her eyes in front of her making sure she didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. If anything, she would attack on sight if it were another predator. She had no problem doing so.

He froze when the buck took off, and went even more still when the fully grown mare came exploding out after the deer. He watched the kill, his eyes narrowed... Not in anger, but in curious fascination, trying to see what he could learn from the mare's kill style and movements. He wasn't stupid, he could see she was a better hunter then he was, at this time. He winced, just a little, when he saw the kicks. He had figured out that it was his dumb twig that had set off the deer by this point. He felt a BIT of guilt, therefor.
When she approached, he almost stopped breathing. He hadn't intended to reveal himself, and he knew nothing about this mare. It wasn't like he could just take off at will, here... He wasn't that good a flyer yet, and the trees and bushes were too close. When she went back to eating, he began to try to work his way backwards, and out of the bush, thinking he could escape that way... Sadly for him, he was far far less coordinated in backwards movement, and he ended up tripping over his own feet, landing on the ground with a rather undignified THUD and an 'OOOF.' His wings were sprawled everywhere, the smokiness causing a strange effect on the ground beneath him.

Chosovi heard the noise, which caused her to lift her head up and lick some of the blood off her muzzle. She was in no mood for games and this time she wanted to know exactly what was over there. Was there someone spying on her? She growled at the thought as she made her way over to the vegetation giving a small sniff to the air. Only the smell of the kill filled her nostrils so it was of no help at all. So instead, she pounced over them landing a few inches away from the young colt. She looked down at him flicking her tail behind her in irritation. “It was you the whole time?” She sneered not sure how she should handle this situation. She didn’t know what to think of the colt. She never knew what to do with foals. They were so strange to her. She didn’t even know how she was going to be a mother.
“What do you want? Are you looking to steal my kill?” She growled sneering in the young colts face before realizing she was being a little too harsh on something so young. He couldn’t fight her. She could easily kill him if she wanted to and never would. She composed herself and stepped through the bushes away from the colt. “You can have some if you want…it’s a big kill and I don’t want it to go to waste.” She still had a bit of aggression to her tone, but she was trying to be softer and a little less aggressive. It was difficult, but she was trying.
She sat there watching the foal closely. She was going to wait to see what he did before she made any kind of move.

He stared up at the mare, his eyes wide and startled, or at least doing a very good job of appearing that way. "I... I was just with my mother... I just wanted to explore, on my own for a bit!" He tries to untangle his legs from under him, slowly and carefully, not wanting to upset the larger female, in the process giving a rather clear view of his mismatched feet, and the way parts of his body seemed to... be flowing off himself. He clearly didn't seem to realize how unusual he was. "I... was not trying to steal, I promise. I was... hoping to sneak up on the deer."
He finally manages to right himself, and looks down at his claws, a blush making his white fur pinkish. "I obviously made an idiot of myself. I was just trying to prove I COULD sneak up on the deer. I don't want to be forced to be one who HAS to hunt from the air." He sighs and looks down. "I didn't mean to intrude, I never wanted to offend, Miss! You're an amazing hunter, and I didn't know you were there. I'm sorry if I am trespassing." He lowers his lashes so that he can watch her face, subtly. He was no fool, despite his youth. If she attacked him, he'd be in serious danger, and the Shadow Raven was... nowhere nearby, and really what good could it do him?
