Weirdness alert ahead!
You have been warned...
I was having an odd DN conversation with my friend, and somehow we began discussing weither or not a Shinigami and a human could have a child. We now that a shinigami can fall in love with a human, but they only die if theyy kill someone else to extend that person's life. So, it is possible that a shinigami attattched to a human could fall inlove with that human. It is also possible that a human, if aroun a shinigam enough, could develop feelings for the shinigami. Now, assuming these mutual feelings developed between a human and a shinigami of opposing genders, could they actually have a child?
...and if they did, could the child bve considered 'normal' in either the shinigami or human world? Not to mention it woul probably be one ugly baby... sweatdrop
er...yeh...what do you guys think? ...besides that i'm crazy... EDIT: I have been informed that my odd little theory is impossible...It was just something that popped into my head, and I didn't know any better at the time. So please don't think I'm an idiot for not knowing.

ok, that answers that sweatdrop I've onl read up to Vol. 4, so anything mentioned after that is compleatly unknown to me.
Here's another question I have...mainly because I've only found one semi-good english fansite(and even then, it wasn't all that good....) Is Rem male or female? The site I found said Rem was female, but in the official Viz release, Rem is constantly referred to as a "him"...so which is it? I mean, I'd usually say "Go with the official release..." but Smerica has been known to change genders before when dubbing/translating something, so I'm not sure.

Despite what's been said I felt the need to say this--
I'll dig up the picture later but, if that did happen I think we have an answer about waht the kid would look like witht hat one picture of that guy with the normal, white, and purplish patchwork skin.
Oh and fromt he looks of that picture, it distrubingly looks like Ryuk got it on with Rem then Light got it on with her too then their semen sort of worked together to get her pregnant.
