With the retrieval of his weapon, and now a dark serpent lingering in his head, Cameron had set upon the track of finding a room. As far as the quartermaster said, the top floor was filled to the brim with hunters. Basement was open but...
Haha. Cameron was too good to bury himself a deep dank basement dwellers.
He huffed as he looked at the room guide and smirked. Well he supposed little Toto or Dorothy would put him up, if he was actually kind.
Since He wanted to keep Chance a little more for the reserves, since men naturally had a code to help each other out, Cameron headed for Claude's room.
He straightened the new shiny jacket with a sun symbol, reached out to her door and knocked lightly on it.
"Oi, Dorothy."

Done for the day, Claude had returned to her room. The trainee she had help woken up a blip on the radar until he'd no doubt show up again, she was certain. She didn't count for that blip showing back up so soon. Claude looked towards the door from her spot at her desk. She was seated with her bare feet propped on the desk and leaning precariously in her chair again, reading a book. A brow quirked as set the chair right and the book pages down where she was on the desk. Claude made her way to the door, and opened it. The trainee had dressed down considerably Cameron last seen her, considering she was in the comfort of her room. Her head was bandana free and her hair was pulled back into a loose messy bun. Her coat was hanging on the back of the chair, and she was clad in a breezey tunic shirt with a tank top underneath and equally breezy capris. The pirate look extended down to her comfy clothes. "Reach the end of the yellow brick road, Tin Man?" She asked, crossing her arms and leaning against the door frame. She took a moment to eye his coat as well. Same division. What were the odds.

"Yes, and it wasn't quite fascinating as I thought." Cameron took in the account of her very laidback style, noting it to be very alluring before adjusting his glasses and looking at her. "I did not find a heart though, which is a shame. Instead I seem to have a power hungry dragon of sorts curling in my mind. I admit, I thought it crazy to actually believe that something talks in your head..." But he sighed.
"Alas, they sent me on my way to find some sort of home Dorothy." He edged a little closer, ALMOST edging his way into her room to snoop. It wasn't magical decorated and simple done. Perfect. It seemed the young woman had a thing for pirate esque but well...everyone had their quirks.
"I seemed to follow the bricks to here. What do you say Dorothy? Let a heartless tin man in?" He didn't give her any sort of puppy eyes but a cocky smirk.

"No one believes it at first." Claude commented in regards to the weapon. To the entity in one's head. A small smirk flashed briefly at the remark about not finding a heart, and it disappeared as quickly as it came. The trainee did not lean back or move away from Cameron as he edge closer, and kept her position against the door way, her eyes locked on his. "You missed the trail of bricks that lead to the basement." Claude replied. The idea that he was asking if he could make a home here was rather ridiculous. So ridiculous she almost couldn't believe he was even asking.

"I did." He looked over her shoulder. There was plenty of room for well....Him.
"You should let me stay here Dorothy. Out of the kindness of your heart"
He was smirking instead of puppy dog eyeing.
"Come on Claude. The basement? That's hardly even a living space."

"What makes you think I have any?" A brow rose. "I may not hate you, but that doesn't mean I'd happily invite you into my space." He really was asking. Color her surprised.
"It may not be, but that's not my problem." First come, first serve, and she'd been in luck that a Hunter had been promoted and moved to the second floor for her to get this room.

"Heart?" He rose a brow, "It was a hopeful gander." He sighed and leaned on the doorjamb.
"Who said you'd be happy about it?" Cameron smirked, "No one likes their space uninvited. I can't promise you won't notice me either, that'd be stupid. But I'd follow your rules if you set them. I just need a spot in the corner Dorothy." He gave her a lopsided smile now.
"Don't make me stick with the basement bumpkins. It'll be like living in munchink island or something."

"There's no benefit to letting you room with me." Claude told him flatly. "All the good stems from you getting your own room, whether it's in the basement or not." Lop sided smile or not, the answer was obvious.
Unless he was planning on not leaving her alone unless she agreed...
She hoped that wasn't the case. Yet she wouldn't put it past him, from what she knew of him so far. Having the balls to ask pretty much a stranger in the first place was something.

He sighed. LOUDLY.
"I'm not leaving until you just agree, so why not save us the trouble Claude, and just agree." He paused.
"We can steal a cot and stuff for it. It'll be a little adventure or something of the sort." He waited. "It'll be fun, I'm fun. I'm so much fun, you won't even know what to do with all the fun I bring."

Claude just stared at Cameron for a very long time. It was, to date, the longest she had ever stared at someone on Deus for the situation they'd put her in. He really would not leave her alone until he got his way, and while Claude would have settled in for a grating battle of patience and holding out until one side caved, it'd be terribly unproductive. Not only would training and duties affect it, but she'd be wasting precious down time on it as well. Letting a stranger stay in her room though? She supposed crazier things had happen...but still. ******** pain in the a**. "It's not the fun--" This was said with sarcasm, "I'm concerned about. It's my privacy." Or whatever little bit she could hold onto of it in this cesspool called Deus. "You mind that, I'll mind yours, and there's only one rule: you can't bring anyone to ******** in my room. You break that, and you're done." There was no heated edge to her words. Just a solid and even promise. She sighed, not exactly pleased this was going down, but the promise of commandeering s**t did have her interest.

He smiled as he had won the battle, and thus a spot in a not cramped or darkened damp shitty ******** room.
"I'm a quiet man Claude, and all you need to do is kick me out when you need a break." He shrugged, "I agree to these terms."
He waited. "So about stealing myself a bed....?"

Claude did not place any stock in his claims of being quiet or agreeable to being kicked out for some peace if she asked. Only time would tell that. She held the urge to sigh once more, because this was still very bothersome, but at the talk of stealing-- "Right." She pushed off the door way and pulled on her nearest pair of boots, tapping the toes on the ground to get them situated before she moved past him and down the hall. "Close the door." She told him, not even bothering to look back over her shoulder or wait for him.

"Yes Sir, Cap'n Sir." He grinned as he followed her out. Now....where did they go about stealing things?
