The battle had taken a lot out of the newly promoted shifter. When she had gotten her new rank, she had decided to try to do a little bit more than helping the people that came in from battle. Finnley had wanted to help the ones that were fighting, and perhaps, save some from dying if they didn't have the chance to come off the battlefield. Needless to say, it had been a little more than Finnley had bargained for. She'd gotten a few bruises and cuts and scrapes but in her mind it was worth it. A few people had gotten healed by her and it had overall been a good learning experience for her.

Now the war was over, though, and she found herself in Yera with Natsu and Viveka. A new member of their family was being born and she had found herself tagging along with them. After all, another healer couldn't help, right? She had in fact delivered a baby before, not that she'd want to do it again.

Finnley felt a little in the way being inside the house where most of the people were. As the day was fairly nice, she had decided to take a walk. When they had first arrived, she had noticed a small pond with a few trees scattered around it and decided to make that her destination. Her steps were slow and methodical and eventually she made it to the small oasis of sorts. Settling herself beneath a tree, she found herself daydreaming...about Natsu of all people. The man she would give children to. Was it odd that she found herself attracted to him? Then again, that just meant things would be easier...right? A soft smile made it's way to her face as well as a blush as she realized exactly what her mind was wandering towards.

The sudden voice had taken her by surprise and she found herself jumping in surprise. She had been so in her thoughts that she hadn't heard footsteps approach. Finnley smiled hesitantly. Sure there weren't many ponds but that didn't mean there wasn't water underground. "Oh sorry. I was k-kind of stuck in my thoughts. I haven't seen m-many but...magic." Finnley said with an even bigger smile. She didn't have many offensive spells, but she always loved water and had felt a small bit underground and decided to bring it up for the critters to drink.

"Are you excited to b-be an uncle?" She asked genuinly. It must be great having kids around. Someday, that would be her too. She patted the ground next to her and snuggled a little closer to him when he sat down. She found herself laying her head on his shoulder and exhaled deeply. Much more at peace simply because of his presence. "I'm glad the war is over." She said out of the blue. It had been a terrible experience, but at least they were through it. And it had caused her to grow up much more, as was evident by the slow disappearance of her stutter. Finn wondered if he noticed. She was honestly kind of surprised he had followed her out there.

Finnley couldn't help but smile as he snuggled up a little closer to her. It felt right and she felt so content. It was nice to just be able to sit down with someone and feel so relaxed. It was obvious that he felt the same too when he leaned his head on hers.

She listened intently as he started talking about another nephew he had. "Oh! I didn't know you had another nephew. It's good to know th-that he grew up then." They sat in silence for a few more moments before Natsu replied about the war. A comment that brought a blush to her face and her cheeks burn just as hot. "Yes...that too. I...and you're sure this is wh-what you and Viveka want? That...you want me?" She asked hesitantly. She'd come a long way in the confidence department but she still couldn't help but be a little self conscious. It caused her to fiddle a little bit, her muscles tensing and un-tensing. Did he really want her to be the mother of his children?

Finnley couldn't help but blush at his response. So they really wanted her. It was still somewhat of a shock to her and almost as if Natsu knew that she would always have small insecurities about it, he provided examples and reasons and things she couldn't really deny. Finn leaned into his nuzzle and got as close to him as was possible. "I'm glad you think so. I..just want to help you both. Natsu?" She asked hesitantly, her eyes scanning around nervously. "What do you think our children will be like?" Maybe it was a little too soon to ask but she wanted to know what he thought. Or at least what he hoped they would be like.

A smile, bigger than any she had had lately made its way to her face. She always lit up with each compliment Natsu gave her. Of course, it wasn't that difficult to make her happy in the first place. But, as he had said, he was a very charming man. "I suppose you're right, you are v-very charming....Viveka is l-lucky to have you." There was a hint of nervousness in her voice as she realized why it was always so easy to talk to him and why each compliment made her feel like she was above the moon. Finn had developed feelings for Natsu, not just friend feeling, but feeling feelings. It was something she was very happy about, but also something she wanted to push down to the very darkest parts of her heart, the little bit that there was anyway. She was only doing them a favor, Natsu was in love with Viveka and there was no place there except for being the mother of their children, right? Right. She agreed with herself. "After this, where are you and Viveka going? I was thinking I might return to Juahar and check on my family." It was something she had been thinking quite a bit about lately, of course along with Natsu.

So they would be going to Jauhar too? What luck she was in! Perhaps she would get to increase the time spent with both he and Viveka alike. It would be nice. She already felt so comfortable with the par that she was glad that they chose her to help enlarge their family. Hopefully, they would love her children as if they were made between them. Finnley didn't think that would be a problem though, the both seemed so incredibly loving Finn just had a feeling that everything would be fine. "I'm glad to know that. Perhaps we could travel together then? It would be good to n-not only travel with someone but...to spend more time with you, Natsu." She meant it, every word. It was foolish to have her little daydreams of her and Natsu being a family, he and Vivkea were so in love with each other, after all, they wen't through so much trouble to try and find someone like her! No, it was enough to be able to help them in this way, wasn't it?

The guided tour part made her laugh slightly. She wouldn't really be the best guide as she had hardly traveled around Juahar herself. When she had first left home, the first place she had gone to was Neued, so really, the only parts of Juahar she knew were the parts she had traveled through with the warcamp. "I'm not sure I would be the best guide. I've only s-seen the parts of Juahar that I traveled with the army. B-b-but, we could stay at my family's place. I'm sure my family would like to meet you, both of you." She corrected herself. Plus that way, they had expressed an interest in meeting her father and Viveka would get to which was something he had wanted right? Finnley sighed contentedly at Natsu's nuzzling. If only things could just stay this way, but that was a selfish thing of her to wish.

Finnley's smile was genuine, she'd never really thought of knowing more about Juahar then some. It was a surprise in a good way. She fiddled with her hair a little bit, her eyes focusing on her hands. It was why she had mostly missed his gaze on her but she looked up in time to see his blush, only to make her a little confused. Why was he blushing? Wasn't it normally her that blushed? In any case, when Natsu continued speaking she lit up.

"Oh of course n-not. My Daddy could probably show you around m-more than I could. And my Momma likes company. You both wouldn't have to worry a-about overstaying your welcome! You would both be welcomed for as long as you'd like to stay." Now of course it was her turn to blush. She wouldn't mind if he stuck around after their 'business relationship' came to an end. Finn enjoyed his company. Plus, it would give her time to watch her little one grow up. She knew they had said she could see the child as much as she wanted, but she wouldn't want to intrude on their new life as parents, she would give them time to acclimate after; both for their own good, the good of the child, and her own.
