shhhhhh...
SHOW me how to lie You’re getting better all the time And turning all against the one Is an art that’s hard to teach Another clever word Sets off an unsuspecting herd And as you step back into line A mob jumps to their feet
Now dance, ********, dance Man, he never had a chance And no one even knew It was really only you
And now you steal away Take him out today Nice work you did You’re gonna go far, kid "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid." by The Offspring hits the PA and fills the BBW arena as most of the fans let out a loud pop and roar. Out from the back, with a hop in his step that mirrored that of the swift drum line in his theme song, the man known simply as Hiro stepped out from the back, leaping about on the stage as he pumped up the fans. He ripped off his jacket right there, rushing down the ramp as the music continued Hiro reached the ringside area, running around it to high five the fans in the front row. It was noted on commentary about how Hiro had decided to take time off for a little bit after being cleared to return months ago, due to a reemergence of some pain. Hiro, before he entered the ring, grabbed a microphone from ringside. With it in hand, his music died out, and he then entered the ring. "Hellllooooo Long Beach! It's me! Hiro! That's right, tonight is my -official- return, live in your city for the Sanguine Invitational! What better way to return, then to come in and participate in a tournament that caused me so much pain! I of course talk about how I was nearly killed by the former winner of this tournament, Blackjack. He used this tournament to easily take the BBW Championship from me, and with thought forever....carved in my mind....I will use it to win this tournament, and with honor, go on to once again capture the BBW Championship!
Also, I know what might be lingering on some of your minds. A few months ago, I was going to return with Dallas Cruz as my valet and begin my return to the top of the mountain. However, an injury of mine to my leg resurfaced, and it forced me to halt my return for a little bit. While I was off recovering, an unspeakable act was committed against Dallas Cruz, one I dont need to bring up again this evening. I decided it was best if I didnt pursue working under her again until she and her brother have recovered from this, and all is well with their situation. Though, let me say this, you fools that did that to her. Eventually, you're going to get yours, and I'll be damned if Marshall Lee doesn't kill you. I know the kid, he's got it in him. You'd better watch out.
Finally, I want to put in my two cents about the opener this evening. What transpired was, simply put, bullshit. I REALLY DONT LIKE KELLY KING. The fact that Im working for him and his bratty seed just...it gets my blood boiling. When I think about that fact that this guy is now who I have to go through for everything, it reminds me of how I used to feel about things. It reminds me...of the hate within me. Well, you guys know I don't do too well with hate, so that leaves me wondering...what is there for me to do? An environment with 2.0 in charge is a hazardous one for myself, my opponents, and this company..." Hiro sleeked his hair back a bit as he took a few steps forward to put his arms on the top rope and look at the hard camera, to all the fans at home watching the program on HBO. "Because when the hatred inside of me is awoken, this program runs the risk of being taken off the air and this company sued. So, obviously, I'd like to avoid that happening. I remember early last year, the Wreckoning tried to do away with the House PERMANENTLY. We didnt succeed. However, it's a new year. I was always Team Shanahan, he's done a lot for me, and will forever be the boss in my heart. The King Family wont get away with what they've done, I can guarantee that. King, your presence has always annoyed me. Tonight, its gotten worse. When this company is reduced to shambles because of what your annoyance does to me, you'll be begging for Matt to take back over. You can believe that. Lights, off." Hiro throws the microphone to the ground as he turns to face the stage and the fans cheer for his promo. "Introducing first, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the Ethnic Enigma, HIRO!"

The lights died down in the arena and the crowd went silent for a moment save for the occasional whisper of wonder at who was going to come out. Suddenly a crimson spotlight focused on the entrance. Slowly a figure in a hooded sweatshirt emerged from the back. The hood was pulled up over their head hiding who they were for the time being. He stood in the center of the stage for a mere moment before red fireworks erupted on either side of him. In the flash of light they provided, Rex Kobra tore his hood down as Throat Full of Glass by Combichrist started to blare from the speakers. As the music hit, the lights came back up and allowed everyone to see Mr. Kobra more clearly. Kobra was clad in a pair of jeans and heavy combat boots and for the second consecutive appearance, his mullet still looked relatively clean. A large smile spread across his lips and he stared out at the crowd. He put his hands on his hips for a moment and simply took in the sight of the crowd. After a few moments, he lowered his hands and started slowly down the ramp. His stroll was slow and for the first time in his recollection, he actually found himself appreciating the fans a bit. He strolled a bit down one side of the ramp and shook hands and hit high fives before moving to the other side and doing the same. Beyond cruel received The comfort in a broken heart Now palette shades An image after life
Alone, surrounded by a million faces One by one I see the judgment in your eyes At the bottom of the ramp, Kobra stopped and stared up and the ring with a smile on his face. He looked at the crowd again before marching over to the steel steps. He climbed them and stepped along the apron, never taking his eyes from Hiro. In the center of the apron, he stepped into the ring and marched to the turnbuckle. He stepped on the middle rope and finished tearing the sweatshirt off. Like a disease I'm always in the wrong And now the numbness wearing off Can't stand the pain
I get in line, I always do Need to be patient while perfecting That's the sign He rolled it up and tossed it to the crowd before hopping down and marching to the opposite turnbuckle and climbing up on it as well and raising his arms above his head and eliciting a cheer from the crowd. "And his opponent, weighing in at 328 lbs....from Salem, Oregon...REX KOOOOOOBRA!"I cannot help it, can't decline It's always better down the line I'm in the wrong and I've done it all before
And I wish I'd never been And I know it's just a dream Now I'm blind, I can open my eyes Kobra hopped down and moved to the center of the ring and offered a sportsmanlike handshake. An honest one. With no strings attached. Such a rarity from the self proclaimed reformed defiler.

Hiro was a bit stunned when he saw Rex come out from the back, pacing in place a bit, shaking out his arms as he prepared for whom he thought was the "Rexual Defiler". However...it was the farthest thing from him! Hiro was even more stunned when he noticed the visual difference between Rex now, and the last time he'd been in the ring with him!
This sudden change in demeanor meant nothing to the Ethnic Enigma however, as he knew that Rex was still a danger in the ring. Adjusting his gloves, Hiro watched on as Rex approached him with a handshake. Hiro slowly got in close, his hand out for the shake, which seemed to be a solid one. Hiro cocked his head to the side as if to say, 'Are you feeling alright?' However, Rex would get no chance to respond with the ref asking the man to detach their handshake, and start the match!

Rex released the handshake and took a step back as the ref signaled for the bell to ring. After the bell rang, Rex cracked his neck and would look to engage Hiro in a standard lock-up to start the match. If he accepted the lock-up, Rex would attempt to transition it into a side headlock.

Hiro and Rex locked up shortly after the ref called for the bell, sparing no time to get the violence started. Rex suddenly transitioned into a side headlock, holding Hiro close to his side. The Ethnic Enigma tried to yank his head out, but to no avail! His head hurting, and the need to get out of the move intensifying, Hiro tried to get his arms around Rex, and lift him off his feet a bit, teasing a suplex!

Rex felt Hiro's arms wrap around him and felt his feet leave the mat a bit. Rex moved his weight forward and attempt to simply use his mass to prevent the suplex and instead attempt a headlock takedown to drive Hiro to the mat.

Unfortunately, Hiro couldn't scare Rex into releasing him, and it did not end well! Hiro was taken down as his body jolted up with hitting the mat. Rex kept the headlock in tight, the ref getting down to ask Hiro if he wanted to quit. The Ethnic Enigma, gasping for air slightly, retorted with a loud and resonating "NO!" Hiro began rocking his downed body a bit, trying to loosen the grip on his head, hoping it could weaken Rex's hands!

Rex felt Hiro start to move and did his best to keep his grip. After a couple moments, he released his grip and rose to his feet, keeping his eyes on the downed Hiro as he took a step back and gave him a chance to stand as well.

The ref checked on Hiro as Rex backed off to give him a second. Hiro coughed hard, starting to get to his knees and hands, using the ref to get himself back up. The fans cheered at Rex's performance, a puzzled look coming over Hiro's face as he looked at the cleaned up man. What happened to him? What had become of the "Rexual Defiler"? These were questions Hiro could answer later as he cracked his neck and threw out his hands once more, trying to again lock up with Rex. Only this time, Hiro would like to take control, looking to transition behind him into a waist lock!

Rex took the lock-up and before he knew it, Hiro was behind him and had him locked in a waist lock. Rex's hands went down to Hiro's where he tried to force Hiro to release his grip.

Hiro was no where near as strong as Rex, so his grip was coming loose a lot faster than Rex's had before. Knowing he needed to let go right now, Hiro did, trying to shove Rex forward with all his might! If he could, Hiro would follow it up with a move he'd mastered and made his own, but hadn't preformed in so long....a leaping chopblock to the Kobra's left leg!

((Auto Win ;-; ))
Hiro instinctively went for a pinfall, torquing on Rex's freshly chopblocked leg. He pulled it back hard and Rex yelped out in pain, the ref dropping to the mat and counting 1....2.....3!? That was it! RING THE BELL! Hiro quickly got off of Rex as the newly turned face grasped at his leg, holding it tightly. The ref grabbed Hiro's arm and raised it high as "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid." hit the PA once more. Hiro looked concerned over the fact that he just won a match where his only offensive move was a chopblock, but he had more things to worry about tonight, like the altercation he planed to have with the new family of BBW, the Kings. Hiro exited the ring and went to the back, waving to his cheering fans.
