The past few sevendays had been a dream. She was a rider. Well, future rider; once her dragon grew up that is. It was still a bit shocking to see the gold hide, but she was getting use to it. The young dragon wasn't up for much yet. Mostly eating and sleeping with her clutchmates, and being bathed and oiled. It was nice to have her twin with her through it all.

Vos had just put Killa down for her afternoon nap when when a drudge came with summons. Baffled, she nodded. Given who'd called upon her, she cleaned up well then put on some nice clothes. Once as ready as she could be the teen headed up to the weyrwoman's quarters. Vos nervously cleared her throat at the doorway.

"Weyrwoman Anali? Vosin reporting." She waited for a reply before entering those quarters.

Her clothes were always well-cut but plain, and more often than not in muted colors, but lately she had begun to make an exception when it came to color. She had been a promising Apprentice in Weavercraft once, taught by her demanding Dyer mother, and it seemed wise now to return to her studies. In the Wherhold, it paid to be useful as more than just a dragonrider, and that went double for the rider of a metallic. Everything she did and said was carefully calculated to counteract the stereotypical image of a vain, entitled goldrider.

Smoothing the soft, pale blue-green fabric of her skirt with multicolored fingers, Anali rose to meet Vosin at the door at the door inclining her head in greeting. "Please, Anali will do, or Rider if you prefer a title." Her mouth quirked up in a wry smile. "Someone's likely to have a conniption if they hear you call me Weyrwoman."

The stout woman stood back and motioned for the Weyrling to enter. "Come in, please."

Her weyr was as modest as her clothing, though on the larger side purely out of necessity; they would have preferred to take a smaller one still, but the number of ledges that would accomodate a dragon of Banshidheth's size were very few indeed, and an old bronzerider weyr was as humble as they could practically be (and even then, it was not the most comfortable fit for the massive gold). They made up for it in sparse appointments, the only hint of luxury a good-quality but plain feline fur spread across the bed. Bits of cloth, some dyed and some not yet, spilled across her desk. Two somewhat-comfortable chairs, a chest, and a wardrobe, a bow leaning against the latter, comprised the rest of her furniture.

She grinned as the rider greeted her at the door. Vos gave a laugh as Anali invited her to be a bit more personal. "I'm sure someone will. It's not like someone mentioned how we should address goldriders in the wherhold. Thank you Anali." She gave a quick respectful bow then entered. Her eyes glanced curiously around the room. It was a nice quaint room. Vos moved further in. She chose the second best chair and stood by it. Anali hadn't invited her to sit just yet.

"So what can I do for you?" The teen was incredibly curious why she'd been summoned. Several ideas had already run through her head, but it could just as easily be something simple. She was eager to get started. Whatever the reason it was bound to be interesting.

"Just as you would any other rider. 'Rider' is usually best all around, unless someone's of rank. Color prefixes can still tweak a few nerves, although I suspect with time the connotations will fade." Assuming this all did, in fact, last long enough for old implications inherent in dragon colors to lose their meaning; while things had been going reasonably well thus far, there were no guarantees that they would continue to do so. They were every bit as likely to end up a black spot in history as to succeed, if not more so.

"Make yourself comfortable," she invited, shutting the door for privacy. "I wanted to speak with you, is all. Banshi and I like to know our Weyrlings. Is there anything I can do for you? You and Killakeeth are well, I trust?"
