So Homestuck fans or tumblrites may recognize the lyricstuck trend that's been going around, but for those who are unfamiliar with the concept, it's basically a comic/storyboard of images put to the lyrics of a song, with matching themes, and I think Moonshop definitely has story enough that it would make for some amazing comic fodder. ouo
Stage one would be to see if there was interest, either in the form of artists, song submitters, or even people who just want to nominate characters for panels! From there, we'd vote on a song to do, develop/assign panels, and get this show on the road. smile Next post will be a couple of proposed ideas, but I'm certainly willing to look at some other ideas! If you have interest or concepts, please post, I think this could be a fun collaborative effort on part of the community. <3
Themes - struggle, loss, giving up, blood, addiction, being defeated, possible starcrossed lovers?

1 -This is gospel for the fallen ones - ((Character A carrying Character B (presumably dead) bridal style, both covered in blood. Character A's eyes are out of frame, but there are tears on their face, silent or screaming.)) 2 - Locked away in permanent slumber - ((Unawakened Character A is centered in the dark, eyes closed. Above them, a silhouette of their powered form, eyes open and glowing.)) 3 - Assembling their philosophies - ((Character A, waist shot, arms spread and mouth open as if giving a sermon)) or ((Character A, cleaning blood from their hands/weapon. In the background lies a broken, crumpled silhouette. Depending on the character, they are looking back towards the body, away towards the opposite wall, or directly at the audience.)) 4 - From pieces of broken memories - ((Character A!Past Life, drawn as stain glass, mosaic, or other breakable medium. From offscreen, the hand of Character A reaches out to touch a broken piece.))

Henshin pen or signet ring is held loosely away from their body/tossed away/shattered?))

17 - This is gospel for the vagabonds, - ((Multiple Chaos characters, battered but carrying eachother out of the fray)) 18 - Never-do-wells and insufferable bastards - ((Characters A, B, etc, posing for some sort of punkish selfie. The picture itself is faded and framed as an older photo, a sign of younger times?)) 19 - Confessing their apostasies - ((Character A sits in the dark, shaking hands closed on a glowing starseed/energy, with the intent to eat it. Meant to imply some sort of dependency.)) or ((Character A lifts a starseed from a faceless torso, expression varying based on the character.)) 20 - Led away by imperfect impostors - ((Leader Character A (Third stage or higher) holding reigns/leashes/puppet strings to multiple lower characters, whose heads bobble uselessly in the background, eyes lightless))

In their hands is their weapon, fists clenched and mind made up. Perhaps burning building/representative doom in the background?)) 28 - 'Cause these words are knives that often leave scars - ((Character A (preferably a knife-wielder), weapons drawn and pressed against Character B's skin. Could represent rivalry, or perhaps a toxic relationship)) 28 - The fear of falling apart - ((Half youma or Ascended Character A, expression blank, their body disintegrating past the waist)) 29 - And truth be told, I never was yours - ((Character A standing over a grave, possibly holding flowers/applicable offering)) 30 - The fear, the fear of falling apart - ((Parallel to the Order picture, Character A sulks facing away from the audience, with their powered henshin pen/weapon discarded in some way.))

* Most of these panel ideas are interchangeable, was just posting them as different possible interpretations of the same line.

Current Project: This is Gospel
Progress: Claiming Panels
So we're starting to get to the fun part: panel claims! All panels are considered open, but for the sake of fairness and sanity each artist may only claim one panel at a time, and a character can only be the main subject in one panel overall. Once you've claimed a panel, you have one week to submit the panel via PM to AMItotic, otherwise the panel will be released to the general public. You can continue to claim for as long as you'd like, but I'd prefer people not agonize over this, as most of the panels should be relatively simple and follow the guidelines below for direction:
- Each panel should be 1000x750 pixels, unless otherwise stated! - Each panel should be monochromatic and cel-shaded (if possible). - Font for the lyrics should be in Courier New.

Never fear, I will claim panels as I'm available, and there are several talented people who I'm sure would love to draw other people's OCs. If you have a scene in mind but can't seem to put it on paper, use the same form above, but leave the 'artist' section blank! I really, really love your "This is Gospel" idea!
I would also propose "Immortals" or "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy? Both of those are very high-energy and dramatic and would be badass over battle scenes!
(I do a lot of storyboarding in my head to music so this is stuff I've pictured a lot orz)
This may be the most predictable song ever, but Funhouse by P!nk for this recent minievent -- the capturing of several Order agents and housing them in a funhouse.
