The night was cold and the wind sliced through his sheen garment like poisoned dipped daggers, but the Cosmos squire barely felt it. His shoes, which he swore were nothing more than already used granny slippers, were falling apart at the seams and he could feel the cold, icy pavement cut into his feet. If he had time to look behind him he might have seen the blood he left behind, but his eyes remained forward and focused, much to the Negaverse lieutenant's dismay.

Today was the wrong day to be a Negaverse officer, because Sarras was on the hunt, and he caught a trail. He had used a rather dirty tactic to get a hold of this one, claiming to be friends with one of his generals, dropping his name as though the last time they spoken to each other had not ended as poorly as it did. That was how he lured the lieutenant into not attacking him on sight, and when he offered some leftover sweets from his brother's shop to fill his belly, that opened his mouth, not only to the food but to speech as well. Sarras might have let him go, only marring his perspective on knights and instilling false hope that the next knight or senshi wouldn't slaughter him on sight, had he not mentioned a certain general...

The plan had been going swimmingly well until then, and whatever Sarras had thought of up to that point was loss on him. The moment he mentioned Buddingtonite and claimed to know him quite well, he lost his cool and went onto the attack. Initially the idea of someone as dainty looking as Sarras going onto the offensive might have been humorous and maybe the lieutenant laughed at first, but the minute he threw the punch and knocked out a tooth, he was gone. No laughter, no screaming, simply dropped the candy and fled. And Sarras gave chase, and now was nearly upon him as they turned the corner and lead to what looked to be a dead end.

Like the hound that was luring the fox into the trap, Sarras gave one last burst of speed, curling his fist and aiming said fist to the back of his skull the moment he got close enough. It wasn't the killing blow, but to anyone watching, it may have certainly looked that way!

I hope this is alright, and let me know if I need to change the font color.

”The hell are you doing??” Valhalla felt his voice catch in his throat, thick with desperation and horror. He had been drawn to the scene by the two auras of course, and while they hadn’t fluctuated with bursts of energy or magic, he had feared a fight would break out and went to observe. Proven wrong in his hopes he had been thinking too negatively of the situation, the knight descended from the building above the alley as quickly as he could, stumbling and nearly falling in his haste to place himself between the knight he had seen on a few occasions but didn’t know well, and the lieutenant that might have been killed just then.

“What the hell was that for??” his voice rising almost hysterically, not yet turning to see if the officer had even survived the blow, his eyes wide and staring at the knight before him as if he’d never seen someone quite like him before. HIs arms were spread as if to put a barrier between the two, afraid of what the other was capable of.

“He didn’t even attack you! I saw!” He didn’t know what his expression on his face showed, but he knew it must be a mix of fear, for the lieutenant and others who could illicit the knight’s wrath, desperation in trying to understand, and utter confusion that a knight would be capable of such unprovoked violence.

Sarras was starting to think that the whole perk of sensing auras was a complete waste of time, as he had not felt the knights aura until the man had literally shouted at him, and he tried, he tried so very hard to make sure that his sneer had not been seen by the other knight, before turning away from his target to face him. He half expected to see a fellow Cosmos knight like himself, a daintly little thing, but of course, what he saw was a dignified, in appearance anyway, young man, and one vaguely familiar. He had been on Olympus, but he wasn't sure if ever spoke with him...

He didn't attend Mistral, which made this knight ten times more intelligent than himself, he openly admitted to himself, but he still could not stop himself from scoffing at his reaction. "What does it look like?"

The lieutenant was likely petrified by this point, caught between two individuals that, as far as power levels were concerned, could have torn him to pieces, and like a deer caught in the menacing headlights, he remained on the ground, breathing heavily and rapidly, likely not getting nearly enough oxygen. That annoyed Sarras... at this rate, he would pass out, and then he'd be useless to him! "Like a give a s**t?" Sarras said in regards to the Jupiter knight's accusation, and though he didn't raise his fists or move to try and push past him, it wasn't too far from his train of thought. "That's the point of a sneak attack- catch them while their guard is down, before they have the chance to strike you first. Now move, I got a few questions I need to ask him..."

"D-don't... get near me! I... I wasn't going to do ANYTHING!" The lieutenant managed to whimper, but he couldn't move. Sarras kept his gaze on him, making sure he didn't try anything funny, or desperate. "Honest!"

"Right, and I'm suppose to believe you're doing Destiny City a great service by harvesting civilian energy and starseeds... move."

Valhalla’s brows furrowed as he quickly made sure the knight’s movements were blocked by placing himself directly in front of the cowering lieutenant. “Most of them don’t even understand. Please. Think about what you’re doing. Is this making you any better than them?” Valhalla wondered, his stance not defensive at all, for he didn’t know how to fight.

Instead he kept his arms down beside him, his hands raised slightly, his palms facing the knight. “You’re a knight of Cosmos… I’ve seen you before…” he said, not so much in an attempt to distract him, but to try and place him and potentially his reasoning behind attacking a defenseless lieutenant. “I’m Valhalla. Of Jupiter,” he introduced now that he had the opportunity to actually speak to this knight face to face.

“What questions did you have for him? I’ve spoken with the Negaverse before. I may be able to help. They’re not all bad,” he said, trying to keep the desperation out of his voice. He did not want his fellow knight to be caught up in something like this. What could have possibly happened that attacking a lieutenant was his only choice?

I'm so sorry for the delay! We can finish this up quickly if you'd like and do something more current if you'd like!

Sarras looked over the knight and felt nothing short of disgust and contempt, to think that someone, anyone would have allowed this bleeding heart to have the power and strength that he did. Of all of the good people in the world that had wanted power to fight, and someone wasted it on him? He tried not to let his contempt be seen, though he was certain that nothing could stop his upper lip from curling, as he spat. “I did think about what I’m doing. I had a perfectly good plan of attack, and you ruined it. And what do I care if I’m better than them? We’re all soldiers here, we all know the risks here. Even you.”

All the while, the cowering lieutenant said nothing and when the knight rose his hands against the squire, he fled. The moment he was back on his feet, he ran, and thanks to the Jupiter knight, Sarras could not dare follow. Oh, oh how this Jupiter knight would pay! “Of course I’m a ********’ Cosmos knight. Look at this stupid outfit and this stupid weapon! You’d have to be daft as a damn horse not to know what I am, an’ I don’t care about where you saw me or who the hell you are. You let a perfectly good resource escape, and what for? Now he’s just going to run off and get stronger an’ then who’ll stop him from killin’ a civilian or another knight? You?!”

He wanted to lash out and he had the perfect outlet to, and the Cosmos squire almost summoned his cup, if only to throw the thing at the knight’s head and knock that helmet of his right off. He was spitting mad and today was not a good day to stand in his way, and if Valhalla didn’t chose his words wisely, he’d discover this the hard way. “You better have answers, then, to make up for your damned interference. Fine… do you know a General named Buddingtonite? Answer me.”
