The Silmarillion is totally my favorite, and actually the Hobbit is my least favorite, but still gotta love it.

For example, they called it the Battle of the Five Armies, but they screwed up one of the armies. The one that came out of the ground was supposed to be an army of goblins, the ones they encountered previously in the Misty Mountains.

And it is bad enough that they made up the character of Tauriel, but all that stupid romance between her and Fili must have had Tolkien rolling over in his grave. There is no way that would ever happen. It's like total blasphemy.
