August Rouge
Auggie held back his excitement. He had never seen such a beautiful, peaceful place. He smiled, and knew he'd be treated at least decent. He was expecting a trick, or some thing. But after seeing how nice the girl was, he was starting to trust her a little. "S-So, you want to be my friend? And I can live here? Would you like me to call you master? I'll do whatever you'd like..". he murmured. Auggie wasn't used to this whole "friend" thing. He had never had a friend before.

Inhaling the fresh air deeply, he smiled. He loved nature, and the out doors. Instead of the smell of cheap lemon pledge in some ridiculous mansion, he felt like this was some sort of dream. Should I pinch myself? Or would she think that's weird.. yeah.. I should just keep walking and wait for ice cream to fall from the sky.. he thought, and continued to follow his master, or rather, his friend.

August Rouge
He was slightly confused. He should be helping her, doing things for her, and every thing. But he did what he was told and quietly walked into the cabin, looking around, he smiled. He walked back out side though, he didn't want to leave her alone. God knows if there could be a bear or what not out here. He smiled warmly as he walked around the back of the cabin.

"Well, would you like some help? I'm pretty decent at hunting, although, I don't like meat very much.. b-but obviously what ever you want to make is fine! You don't have to feed me, I just.. ugh.. I have to snap out of this, don't I?" he rambled, still a tad nervous. He did like being considered a friend. It felt rather nice to be respected.

August Rouge
Smiling, he took the basket of vegetables and carried them into the house. He slipped off his shoes near the front door though, he thought it'd be rude to track any dirt in. Setting the basket on the counter, he took them out and began to rinse them in the sink. He wanted to do whatever he could to make her life easier, since she obviously took care of herself, which he loved.

Auggie flipped his hair out of face and ran his hand through it, he hated it, even though it was "perfect". After this he hoped he could take a shower, or at least sleep for half an hour, if possible. But he wanted to get to know his new friend first.

He giggled as she put a clip in his hair, but surprisingly it kept it out of his eyes. He gazed at her while she cooked, loving how free spirited she seemed. Auggie walked over to help set things up. He wondered why she would prepare so nicely, especially for a pet. Was she trying to impress him? Hell, a can of beans would impress him.

Lemonade? He had never heard of that before, but it sounded good. "I-I don't know what lemonade is.. but I'm sure it's great. I-I can get it, if you'd like." he murmured softly. His nervousness was almost gone, so he was wondering why he was so soft spoken at the moment. He wasn't going to be loud, of course, but since it was only the two of them, he figured he'd keep his tone lower. The food smelled wonderful, it was probably the best looking thing he'd ever had the chance to eat.

Auggie literally had to stop himself from scarfing the food down all at once. But he savored it, because it was literally the best food he'd ever eaten. Taking a sip of the lemonade, he smiled at the sweetness. He couldn't help but glance up and look into Lacie's eyes, but quickly looked away. "N-No. um, I can help you clean up, I'll gladly wash the dishes or some thing.." he quickly murmured, not wanting to just leave her with every thing to do. Even if he was her friend, friends didn't just leave a mess for the other to clean up.

Auggie had just finished wiping down the counter as she came out and softly spoke. The scent of lavender had relaxed him as well, and he smiled warmly. "Is there any thing I can do for you, mast- uh, Lacie? Would you like any thing at all? I'll be very quick in the shower, so that I can help you.." he rambled on, he really needed to stop with that. Was he just nervous around her? She was pretty beautiful, the most attractive girl he had seen in quite some time. He even loved her pretty hair, even though she seemed to hate it.

Making sure every thing was cleaned up, he quickly went and took a hot shower. The water felt so relaxing, and he for once felt clean. Cold showers just weren't his thing. When he was done, he walked back out into the main room and shook the water out of his ear. He hoped Lacie wouldn't mind that he didn't have a shirt on, since he didn't prefer to wear one to bed.

He nodded at her reply, but was confused about the walk. Jumping at the gasp, he cowered slightly against the wall. Not knowing what he did wrong. "I-I'm sorry master please don't hurt me I'm sorry I've disrespected you" he nervously rambles, as his mind goes back to the flashbacks of him being beaten. He didn't dare move, or look at her. But he was so confused what he had done wrong. Was her face red from anger? He wondered, but didn't dare look.
