~ Personality ~
Born and raised in a forest has taught Saedaisti many things. She tends to be quiet in her movements and voice. It lets her observe the animals of the forest, and she is quite observant. She enjoys sitting and watching the going-ons of creatures around her. It fascinates her. She can be endlessly curious which sometimes can get her into tough spots.
While strangers may call her shy, really she is reserved. She doesn't know or trust them right away. It's a matter of wait and see what they'll do. Actions do speak louder than words. Despite all that, Saedaisti will jump on an opportunity should one present itself. She doesn't mind furthering herself in the world.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement: In the beginning growing up she feels the other two races are a bit full of themselves. As she learns more, she will lean more toward using the conflicting sides to make a profit for the dovaa. If the other two wipe each other out, or mostly, then the dovaa can take over cause they are clearly the best race anyhow. The dovaa don't need to get their hands dirty by joining into the war. Their god may have made them last, but clearly he put more thought into them than the goddesses of the other races. Once the other two races have beaten each other to a bloody pulp then the dovaa can come in like grace on wings and show they the proper path to take.
Thoughts on the Magescian Races: Before she meets any of the other races she’ll be rather indifferent. Oblivionites and orderites are seen as an ends to a means. A way for the dovaa to further their wealth and after the others have destroyed each other it will be the dovaians who rule the planet. For a long time she won't realize hybrids are a factor of life, unless she runs into one. The other races will be viewed as slightly below dovaas, and hybrid dovaas will need to prove their worth and loyalty to their dovaian side. (I have plans for her to get an Oblivionite mate in her far future lol.)
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora: The dragons and khehora will become an utter devotion to her once she learns about them. She will want to learn as much as she can. It will become her goal to travel to all the continents and meet each breed of dragon and khehora. Later when she’s traveling she’d rather befriend them than fight. If she can get some to confide in her she’ll want to trade favors for eggs and things.

~ History ~
Mother: Zoina, trapper Father: Suledu, a tanner Older brother: Rusaegh, trapper in training Older sister: Lerayet, tanner in training
They live in a log cabin on the edge of the Fields of Aloradhan near Dannon’s Thicket. Together they ran a trapping and tanning business. Once every few month the couple would head into the city to sell the furs they had and bring back any supplies they required for the next several months.
Saedaisti is their third born child. She has an older brother and sister. Rusaegh, the oldest sibling, has taken after Zoina and he is learning how to trap. Lerayet, the middle child, has decided to learn tanning from Suledu. When Saedaisti was born, it was debated which trade she might be interested in. Her observant nature and curiosity about the world impressed her parents. They decided it would be good to send her to the city to learn once she was older.
From a young age the dovaa liked to spend her time exploring the fields and woods around her home. She enjoyed being in nature and the many things it could show her. Her favorite was observing the animals and befriending any she could. Sae didn't show much interest in either of her parent’s professions, nor any of the neighbors. In truth, she felt a deep connection with the forest and the wild places. She felt the happiest roaming in the woods, befriending birds and deer, or learning flora and its uses. Sae isn't a girl that likes to sit still.
When her parents first told her they would like her to go to Astral City for more formal training, she was reluctant to leave her wild home. In the end she agreed unwillingly. She could always return if she didn't like it. In her 9th year, her father brought her to the city to learn all she could. She packed up a few possessions and began her trip to the city her father. It was a long, hard trip to leave the lands she'd known for her whole life and go into the city for more than half a day. The noise and smell assaulted her senses as it had the few times she'd gone with her family to the city to sell their furs.
That was the hardest hurdle, finding the will the carry on. Sae stood at the edge staring for a long time. Finally she took a deep breathe and started walking. Her dad simply stood and let her get her wits together. When she started walking, he smiled silently. Shortly after arriving, she ran into a young boy who couldn't speak. Their initial meeting however started with sparks and they've been at each other ever since.

Young dovaa would be taught that though the first two races were brought into the world first in history, they were imagined by their respective goddesses for all the wrong reasons - greed, pride, power, and above all, war. The war is a waste of energy and life that raged for far longer than it should have based on nothing more than a power show and futile desires to prove superiority. Dovaa children will be taught that they were designed by their god last, but best, with the purpose of their eventual destiny being to bring balance to a world needlessly torn asunder. Though the world created for them by their god is separate from Magesc, the elements that run in their blood which are the beating pulse of their magic are designed for earth, oceans, wind, and thunder of Magesc itself. Through their attunement to the natural world and the design of their god, they can accomplish what neither of the races before them did: peace, and a world worth living in. Of course, many dovaa will disagree on how that peace should be sought, and many will take one side or the other, believing that the only way to bring balance will be to end the war the way wars end: by winning it. And even those who want peace through negotiation generally see themselves as distinctly separate from and not designed to mingle with the other races other than to be ambassadors for a greater purpose, etc. - plenty of racism amidst the dovaa, just a different sort since they're not absolutely on one side or the other.
