There was no denying that he was getting desperate. With his stash gone, and his family trying to get him to train like his brother he felt his mind fraying around the edges. Becoming irrational and lashing out at his parents only to have his much larger brother striking back at him. As his parents and brother has stayed on the farm, all three had stayed fairly well muscled due to the hard work. But he had been taken into the sex trade and thus he was soft and lean, hardly someone who looked like they should be wielding a weapon. Still it was something they were pushing and he couldn't do it. The young Matori man didn't want to disappoint his family, but he had changed after leaving them. That man..his master had changed him and no he had to try and live with the fact that he could never go back to who he was prior to this. Still he did try. Not exactly sure WHY his family was pushing the training, perhaps they were unsure about what the future held. The Oban kind was dethroned but that didn't mean another perhaps worse ruler could take over. They wanted to be prepared and so the training had commenced. Kyruie had escaped for a moment, his hands shaking as he walked down to the market. Stuffing his hands in a pocket to stop the trembling he continued until he walked by a medicine man. Licking his dry upper lip he felt himself cave in almost instantly, it was better to take the stuff and let him have some peace of mind right? Though his family knew that there was something off about Kyruie they hadn't been able to pin it down on an abuse of the paining numbing substance he had been exposed to while living with his once master. They took his jittery state to be a result of the constant abuse and that's where they left it. Standing in front of the small building he sighed, took a deep breath and formulated his lie. It wasn't as if he had wandered about with no coin in his pocket but it could be seen as suspicious if he was buying large amounts of the substance without any rhyme or reason. So he formulated a plan and tried to look as normal as possible as he entered the establishment. Some moments later he managed to leave with a small package in hand. Though the medicine man had swallowed his tall tale he still refused to give Kyruie more than this. Suggesting that if his father still needed it to come back when he ran out. Well it meant he had a viable story...that is until his family found out. So it was risky, but he would take what he could get and feeling like he was on cloud nine continued on his way to find a quiet place to get his fix.
Tera stretched his arms up over his head, giving a bit of a pleased sound as he did so, then crossed them behind his head, "So nice to finally get to go on a walk!" He said to nobody in particular. As far as his dotting, clingy mother was concerned Tera was taking a nap. He had claimed exhaustion, that a nap would get him back on his feet, and she was quick to not only usher him to bed but also to tuck him in. He had waited a time, making sure that she didn't come back to check on him, before he was slipping out again. He had nothing against the woman who called herself his mother, she was nice enough, save for how tightly she felt that she needed to hold onto him. He knew her reasoning behind it, the fact that Tera had apparently been snatched when he was just out playing one day and hadn't been heard from again until near the end of the war when his whereabouts had been found out.
She was glad to have her 'baby boy' back he thought to himself, even if he wasn't quite like the stories that he heard about himself anymore. It was so long ago, he could barely remember. 'With time' he was told by the healer that his mother had gotten to look him over a few times since he'd come home, as though constantly check ups would fix him.
Walking along in a rather arbitrary manner, trying to figure out what he might say if one of his parents caught him out about, he spotted someone through the crowd that he knew. His bright eyes seemed to light up at the sight of the other man, a smile appearing on his lips as he said the name out loud, "Ah! Kyruie is here!" What luck he thought to himself. It was a though that was instantly countered by the voice asking of him how running into that was something Tera would consider lucky. From there the voice just started to berate him, telling him to just continue on his walk and leave the drug addict to his own devices. Of course even as the voice was saying this Tera was rushing forward. The fact that Tera couldn't even follow the simplest instruction like 'leave the addict be' had the voice muttering about why should he even bother to speak up? A question that Tera also completely ignored for the time being.
Trotting up to Kyruie the shorter male was quick to fall into step beside him, smiling up at him, "Hello, Kyruie! Out treasure hunting today too?" He asked of the other man, as though they were great friends instead of the strange relationship they had, if it could even be called that.
Lost in thought, Kyruie didn't realize that he had been spotted by someone, someone he had met once before when he had used the last of his powder. He was trying to think of a safe place he could use it, without the risk of being caught or seen by someone. Unfortunately he had already been...seen. The taller Matori male gave a jump when someone came up beside him. Juggling the package that was in his hand as if he had the impulse to hide the package despite the fact it was quite nondescript beyond being a small leaf wrapped box. Giving a look to the stranger named Tera that was a mix that was both startled and wrought with guilt. Like a child who had been caught with his hands in the cookie jar he held onto the 'cookie' with both hands unwilling to let it go or let anyone take it from him. Of course once he registered whom it was that had spoken to him he felt his entire body stiffen and then relax. Oh. Great. It was him. Kyruie regretted giving the other man his name, but it was too late now, even if he hadn't bothered to learn his name in return. "Ah...sort of...yes." He managed looking around as if expecting either a family member or the medicine coming after him. Holding onto the package he then tried to find an excuse to leave, he was looking better than he had the previous time. A bit of muscle had been added to his still slender frame, he looked like he had been eating better and he had an air of being taken care of this time. "Sorry but I am ..in a hurry. Goodbye." Kyruie managed after awhile not sure how else to get away without being completely rude. Turning he started down the street again wondering now where to go so that he wouldn't be followed.
Tera gave him a smile, curious now that Kyruie in fact said that he was sort of on a treasure hunt. So then he was going to where ever he'd buried that box of his once more? He wondered what sort of spot he'd hidden it in this time. Somewhere more interesting then last time? Buried again? Tucked under something or maybe behind something? He was just so curious! Of course before he coudl ask where it was that he'd hidden the box this time the man was saying that he was 'sorry' and 'in a hurry' before he was started on his way, seeming as though he wanted to leave Tera behind.
The voice seemed to be rather pleased, all but telling Tera that he'd 'told him so' and that now that Tera had been blown off by his 'druggy friend' that they should be on their way. Why waste the incredibly rare time off on someone like that? The guy didn't care about Tera, didn't want anything to do with hell, by Nessat's beard they should just head on their way! The man didn't even want to learn Tera's name let alone want to hang out with him. It was something that had Tera standing there, a bit uncertain. He didn't want to leave Kyruie alone, but maybe he was better now? He looked a lot better, stronger too, maybe he was getting on better with his family too and no longer needed Tera to hug him? It was something that seemed really sad to Tera for some reason, a selfish one, "So I'm the only crazy one again." He muttered to himself, quickly being replied to by the voice that said 'so it seems' in a smug tone.
"I am gonna follow him, if he's fine then I will leave him alone." He murmured to himself and to the voice in his head before he followed along after the other man, doing his best to keep his steps quiet. Just a little peek in on him, if he was heading home to his family then he would leave Kyruie alone. Knowing that he was doing better, well, it was a good thing, even if that left Tera alone... or at least alone as he ever was.
Hurrying down the street he couldn't help but glance over his shoulder to see Tera following him. Shocked and a bit angry he wished the guy would just go away. After all what he wanted to do he ..really didn't want to introduce others to. After all it was his addiction, and he knew it was a terrible thing and yet he couldn't stop himself from hiding it and continuing the abuse of the substance. Unless someone tried to stop him from using it, he had no idea how long he would end up abusing it. Anger, Kyruie wanted to turn around and shout at the one following him, tell him it was stupid to follow him but he knew that...if he did he would not only draw attention to himself but perhaps the situation he was in. Looking away he tried to shake off the 'stalker' winding through roads and going through crowds of people before finally turning down a small alley. He had found a abandoned building, was once a home to ..someone but since the war it was empty. When you stepped inside you could still see the last moments the people had when they lived there. A pot over turned on the counter, contents having split onto the floor and already eaten by whatever creatures had found it. There may of been a fight, something that remotely looked like blood was stained on the dirt floor and up one side of the wall, but he didn't care. Kyruie moved to the upstairs quickly, it was a small two store home. With one bedroom on the second floor that he would use for his purpose's. A small curtain hung sadly on the window, blocking out some of the light but was so hole ridden it caused a strange array of lit dots in the room. Still he sat down on the bed and took a deep breath his hands firmly on the package before waiting to make sure he didn't hear anything. So terrified of being caught he always waited before finally giving himself to that drug induced euphoria. He had enough this time to really enjoy himself and not just once either. Closing his eyes he took another breath before he went about dealing himself an appropriate amount before quickly ingesting it. It felt all the tension in his body give away almost at once. The stuff was addicting there was no doubt about that, and worked very quickly. It was a good thing that he had closed the box back up prior to getting his fix, as he slipped off the bed side by accidentally and yanked the sheet that was on it off in his attempt to stop himself from falling. A small thud as his body hit the ground, though it didn't hurt he ended up chuckling despite himself and then like a child placing the blanket over his head.
"Ahh... well... that was weird." Tera mused to himself as he watched Kyruie look back at him before hurrying off toward... well, Ome Essad knew where. Should he go after him? No. Shouldn't he see where he was going? No. He took a step back toward home as though against his will, another toward where Kyruie had gone, then he stood stock still for a moment, "Stop it, I want to go after Kyruie." He muttered under his breath, pushing himself forward as though the air had grown as thick as molasses before he was moving once more. He hated that sensation, that dragging sensation that made him feel as though he wasn't quite in control of himself. Now that he'd gotten moving though the grasp the strange feeling had on him had passed.
He had to quicken his pace to even keep up with Kyruie, able to see him, though just barely, as he moved along in a rather mixed up path, the sort that was bound to get Tera lost. After a time he knew he couldn't really give up because Kyruie was the only one that knew which direction he'd taken and maybe, if Tera was lucky, the man would point him in the right direction that would take him home. Maybe this wasn't the best of his ideas? There was silence from the voice but it was that sort of silence that clearly said 'No, really? Tell me more.' A sarcastic sort of silence if that was possible. When Kyruie finally reached the place he was seeking, an abandoned and somewhat creepy looking house he paused at the door, "Ummm..." This wasn't a nice place he thought to himself as he stepped inside, looking around the house. It had such a sad, ominous feel to it, one that sent shivers through him as he tried to figure out which way Kyruie had gone.
After a bit of searching around he found foot prints heading up the stairs that had disturbed the dirt on that had settled on them over time. Must he that way he thought to himself before following along, trying to be as quiet as he could though the stairs were a touch creaky. Upon getting to top of the stairs he followed along after the foot prints when he heard a dull thud from one of the rooms. Quickening his steps he found Kyruie laying on the floor looking a bit off, giggling to himself as he pulled a blanket over his head. Tera tilted his head to one side, confused, and the voice was back to telling him to leave the weirdo alone. An order that was ignored as Tera walked forward, kneeling down next to Kyruie, and watched him quietly as he played with the blanket that he'd found. Not exactly the cleanest of blankets, something he kind of wanted to take away from him, but he didn't want to upset him anymore then he was sure he would when Kyruie realized he was here.
The Matori man didn't seem to notice Tera's entrance, in fact he was so amused by the blanket that he just played with it for a bit, liking the feeling between his fingers. It wasn't until he had dragged the sheet off of himself that he noticed Tera was there. Cocking his head to the side as if willing his brain to think, which seemed downright impossible at the moment. "You." He managed pointing a finger at Tera accusingly, though his tone was more of surprise than anger. With another lop sided smile he poked Tera's nose before collapsing into a fit of giggles. Somehow the appearance of Tera was...funny, perhaps it was the irony of the situation. The fact Tera had found him yet again under the influence although a lot more this time around. Once his laughing ceased, his ribs a bit sore from the constant inhale and exhale of breath he reached up and took a hold of Tera's hand pulling him down to get him to join on the floor. The blanket was now underneath Kyruie which made for sitting and laying on the floor a bit more comfortable. Kyruie felt a bit lost, under the influence he was never alone and thus it was habit to bring Tera closer. He wanted to lay with him, have his hair stroked or petted. Other desires rose and it was his body's way of responding while under the influence. Years of the same routine was hard to break after all. He waited for Tera to take the lead, since it was always his master who did such things to him and not the other way around. Leaning his head back as he dragged Tera in a tight embrace, ending with the poor boy sitting literally in his lap.
As Kyruie played with the blanket Tera just watched him, eyes a bit wide, but said nothing. It was a strange sort of sight after all and if he was in a mood like that... was he eating that stuff out of the wooden box again? It had caused him to act a bit oddly so it must be the same stuff, right? It made him wonder for a moment exactly what it was. The voice in his head told him in no uncertain terms though that they weren't going anywhere near the stuff this idiot addict was taking no matter what! It was an almost scream in his head that caused him to wince before he nodded, "I get it, I get it." He murmured to himself before looking toward Kyruie who was now looking at him and pointing at him, "Ummm...? Me?"
Tera was expecting mad but instead he found himself getting poked in the nose before Kyruie broke into peels of laughter. It had him starring for a moment before he said, "I am glad you aren't mad." He murmured to Kyruie leaning a little closer to him, glad he wasn't mad but not sure if this was him 'doing better' or doing the same as the last time they met only with Kyruie looking healthier? Strange he thought to himself before Kyruie caught hold of his hand, pulling on it. He blinked a couple times, allowing himself to be lead, though it ended up being a possible mistake as he found himself sitting in Kyruie's lap, "I... umm..." Well this was awkward wasn't it? His own fault for following after the weirdo, at least that was what the voice in his head told him. It was something that caused him to make a bit of a face before his attention went back to Kyruie again.
Starring down at him he lifted a hand, reaching out so that he could sooth it against his hair in a gentle manner, "You probably shouldn't be laying on a floor like this... but since I can't exactly move you I guess you will have to stay where you landed." Not as though he could move someone that was so much bigger then him, especially not when he was in Kyruie's condition. Best to just stay with him, keep an eye on him, and hope nobody else ended up in this creepy house along with them.
Kyruie's eyes went half closed as Tera began to stroke his hair, it was funny how such a simple act could calm him down so quickly. His arms still wrapped around Tera in an embrace that was mostly a man clinging on for dear life. His arms did loosen slowly as his hair was continuously stroked, he leaned his head into the crutch of Tera's shoulder and sat that way for quite some time. Though his need was growing, or at least his body's need. As he sat his face buried into Tera's shoulder he thought how nice he smelled. Without much restraint he began to kiss the exposed skin he could reach slowly and deliberately. Like a man possessed he pulled away only after he had kissed any available skin he then took Tera's hand and placed it on his chest, cupping the other one to stay on his head. "Lost...my master is gone...I am lost..." He managed in broken sentence looking rather distraught at the concept of misplacing the abusive man. "Are you...to replace him?" Kyruie managed to ask looking like a beaten child clinging to some form of hope. "I am yours..please..." He managed looking like he could break down in tears of frustration, "Don..t leave me.."
Tera gave a squeak of surprise at the kisses that he was suddenly getting from Kyruie, finding that he'd gone from being rather angry earlier to now being... well, really super friendly. It had to be the side effect of that stuff he was taking. What else did the stuff do? Surely he wasn't taking it just to be friendly, was t? One wouldn't think so at least. Tera found his hand behind moved to Kyruie's chest and he let his fingers spread out, feeling the beating of his heart under his hand, and then he glanced up at him, "Kyruie?" He murmured, a touch worried for him, more so when he started to talk.
His master was gone? So he'd had one as well? Was that why he was having so many issues with his family? It made Tera feel a kinship with him, something that the voice in his head wasn't amused by, as though the idea of Tera getting too close to this guy wasn't something that sat well. Giving a confused sound he asked, "Replace him?" What did that mean? He wanted Tera to be a master? No, no, that couldn't be right... right? Of course just as he was saying that Kyruie was declaring that he belonged to Tera and not to leave him.
Giving a soft sound in his throat he moved his arms to hug the other Matori man best that he could, "I will be here, Kyruie, I want to be your friend, and keep you from being lonely." So maybe Kyruie was as messed up as Tera was? It wasn't something that he shouldn't be happy about though, he didn't want to seem so weird or selfish. He just... wanted a friend who didn't seem as perfect as the 'babysitter' that his parents were trying to hook him up with.

Confused. The poor man was confused the drugs addling his brain and though Tera was embracing him he felt still so lost. There was nothing familiar anymore, he wasn't in the place he had lived the recent part of his life, there were strangers around him and there was no simplicity. Nothing worked right for him, he didn't want to go back to his family where he couldn't predict the outcomes. Though he got beaten regularly with his master at least he knew what to expect. Clinging to Tera tightly he felt frustrated, he wanted to cry and lash out but the drugs were inhibiting him. He took enough that he would be in this state of confusion for a little while yet. The concept of friend was foreign to him, what was a friend? Master often said that he was his slave. Was slave and friend the same thing? "...F..riend...?" The drugged man managed as he went back to burrowing his face into Tera's shoulder. This time in his antsy state of mind he began to nibble lightly on the man's shoulder. "...no...master... you replace..." Kyruie repeated again wanting to confirm that Tera was indeed his new master. He needed one, someone he could please someone who would tell him what to do. Aroused at the idea he hesitated a moment, "can..I touch you?" He inquired as he always had to ask permission before.
Tera nodded when Kyruie said 'friend' and gave him a smile, "If you're alright with that?" He said, though it would seem that he wasn't, wanting something else of Tera. It was something that had him lifting up just a bit to look at him, "E-Eh? Master? Oh... no, no... I couldn't do that... I..." He trailed off though, finding words hard to figure out when the other was being so overly friendly. All that it really did was cause his cheeks to burn a rather bright red and make his thoughts get a bit on the mixed up side. It was as though they were swirling in his head, making him feel as though he was falling head over heels before falling into water. It was a dizzy feeling that was swirling around him.
"Huh? Touch? Oh... I don't know..." He said, cheeks burning that much, "I can't just..." Even as he said that though his hand moved to rest against Kyruie's cheek, resting on it, before he heard the voice in his head telling him that he really should have listened, shouldn't have followed after the guy, that he was obviously as touched in the head as Tera was. Despite being very 'I told you so' about it all though the voice wasn't too pleased with Kyruie's actions, acting as though Tera was just up for grabs or something, as though he could do whatever he wanted with him no matter what. He'd have to deal with this guy just as he'd dealt with their master, huh? To keep Tera safe, to let him continue along through life blindly and stupidly.
"You really shouldn't bother with Tera, he's a bit of a naive idiot you know. Not to mention he wouldn't be able to be the master to a puppy."
Soft thin fingers rested against his cheek, such a stark difference from the thick rough ones his master had. Gentle it was something he wanted to feel more of. Raising his own hand he cupped Tera's hand against his cheek, though his half lidded gaze stared at Tera stupidly as a very different tone of voice came out of the one in front of him. A harsher sort of voice that had him staring at Tera as is wondering if he had switched places with someone who looked identical to him. Looking around a slow moment he came to look at the man in front of him. Alarmed and yet comforted by the assertiveness of this new Tera. "...will...you ..be my master?"Came his question, apparently he would be happy with anyone and this guy seemed to fit the bill perfectly. "Y..ou can..have me...I am yours...please.." Kyruie offered himself, leaning back removing what articles of clothing he could without having to stand up. All he wanted was sadly his old life back. It wasn't a great life but he didn't have to think beyond the here and now. Reaching forward after his shirt was removed he hesitated, he had to have permission...looking up at the stranger in Tera's body like child who really wanted to break the rules but knew better. The young man could rapidly feel the glow of his euphoria beginning to ebb and he was desperate for release before his mind actually could think again.
Tera's other gave a bit of a laugh at the question, "You seem a bit on the desperate side, offering yourself to Tera of all people... or well anyone that might have you." He murmured, a bit on the annoyed side. As though he wanted someone that would have anyone, even someone like Tera. How he wanted to tell him off but he doubted very highly hat it would happen. He had a feeling that even if he tried to get rid of the guy that Tera would keep finding his way back to him instead. He really did seem the sort that needed a keeper tough so that meant he was going to find himself one... meaning that Tera could end up in trouble again as well. What if he followed this fool Kyruie to another dangerous place and the both of them got caught? How many Obans would go against or ignore the 'no slaves' law after all.
Sighing he moved his hand, catching hold of Kyruie's chin, forcing his head back, then starred down at him, "You really are barking up the wrong tree, Ky." He murmured, leaning over to press a kiss to mouth before he said, "I might be tempted to keep an eye on you though, if only to keep Tera from getting in over his head. I can't say that I really want to deal with cleaning up all of his messes all the time though and you are exactly that, a mess."
He felt the hot press of lips against his, that firm hand under his chin and how he wished to go further. This new..person, or rather new voice was what he was wanting. Someone to tell him off, tell him that what he was doing was desperate. He knew he was being desperate and after the kiss parted he felt that hunger for more and he had to stop himself for going after a second one. The words were sinking in slowly and he sat there half naked looking from Tera to the floor. "I am ..desperate...but this life is all I know.." Kyruie managed after a few broken lines his hand going to clench at the blanket that was on the floor. "If you won't have me...who will? I am messed up..broken..I ..depend on medicine to..." trailing off he wasn't exactly sure how to explain his dependence on the pain numbing mixture. "My family..I..am like a stranger to them. They accept me because of blood ties..but .." Panic was beginning to instil itself in his body. A side effect when coming down from a high. Reaching forward he grabbed at Tera's shirt pulling him closer before all will seemed to disappear, his fingers still tangled in cloth even though he didn't try to remove them. "You know my...secret..I will do whatever you want to keep it quiet."
The guy starred down at Kyruie for a long moment before he started to laugh, "Poor, Ky, I wish that I could say I understand, I mean my own things have gone so swimmingly for me." He said his tone dripping with sarcasm before he starred down at him. Giving a smile he said, "Lucky for you though Tera seems to rather like the fact that you're broken, it makes him feel as though he isn't all alone in the world."
"I have to say I feel that it's a bit of a bonus too, Tera's mother is trying to set us up with a... I don't know, body guard, babysitter, someone to hold his hand so he won't get lost. The guy seems too perfect though, it makes Tera uncomfortable and makes him feel that much worse about himself." He said, leaning over Kyruie once more, "You should be his friend, my... 'friend', then we can hang out together. Surely two broken people might make a whole one?" Better then nothing and maybe it would help him to avoid the one person he wasn't interested in being around.
Nothing against the guy but he'd rather not have a competent 'babysitter' around all day... even if it made sense in a way to have one. Already Tera had wandered off and followed an addict about like a puppy. Not as though he could be trusted on his own but wouldn't this guy benefit them more since he was pretty benign? Reaching a hand out he gave a smile, "Whatever I want? Then yes, you are going to be our friend."
The sarcasm was hard to miss and even as he came off of his high he felt irritated. One with this other version of the male he had come to know as Tera and with himself of course. Why had he blurted out all these things about himself? Even recounting it in his head it made him sound pathetic and whiny...like a spoiled child looking for attention. Which was pretty much what he was right now...a child who wanted attention and wanted it now. "Friend...?" He muttered a moment as he licked his upper lip recalling Tera's lips on his own. "It sounds like a bad idea..." Kyruie managed struggling to keep his hands to himself. "I am..not a good person when like this..." He continued feeling his head getting hot as he blushed realizing that he was half naked looking for his shirt he slowly reached for it although he still felt that need he certainly wasn't going to attempt anything while coming down from a high..not when his head could think somewhat clearly anyway. "Two broken people don't make a whole one...it just makes everything worse...you should stay away from me. Perhaps your babysitter can make things right...but I can't..so leave me alone." The words were harsh but that was perhaps due to the fact Kyruie's high was pretty much gone leaving only the unhappy shell of a man in front of Tera.
There was a bit of a chuckle from the man who Kyruie was suddenly doing his best to get away from, "Oh, I see... no longer good enough now that you're not doped up out of your head? Should have known, not as though you wanted Tera around earlier when you were skulking about." He said, pushing himself up to his feet, brushing the dirt off that had been gathered from laying about on the floor with Kyruie. He gave the man a look, then turned away, "Stay away from you? As though I haven't tried." He muttered, mostly to himself. As if Tera ever listened to him, his refusing to listen to reason, to what he should do, to avoid dangerous people, to run away, all the things a smart person should do... it was why he'd been 'born' in the first place. It forced him to live through all the various Hells that Tera wouldn't be able to survive though, a personality that was only around for the worst of things.
Turning to look over at Kyruie he starred at him for a long moment, "Don't think I want you as a friend. Someone like you, you're so desperate and pathetic, looking for someone to lead you around and kick you like some sort of puppy. You will find that person eventually, some Oban that says to hell with the whole 'slaves being free' thing, and you will get yourself and Tera both caught again because he won't leave you be!" Tera might want to be around this guy but he didn't, he wanted... well, he wasn't really sure, but it wasn't to be near someone that would only get him dragged back into that hell again. Tera might not remember the bad parts, seeing them only as black outs, but he did, it was a burden that was his alone, and unlike Kyruie he wouldn't blurt it out to anyone who'd listen.
Gritting his teeth he snapped out, "If you see him again be more forceful, make it clear that you don't want him around, in no uncertain terms, of he's just gonna keep following. You look so sad all the time that all he wants is to hug you and make you feel better. He's stupid like that, as if a hug would fix you." He was just taking his own anger out on the guy, he knew that, but it was hard to hold back when the man was so hot and cold when it came to his drugs, acting one moment as though he were wanted... then telling him off the next. It just made him want to lash out in a manner he'd been unable to do in the past.
Still on the ground himself it would of been a lie to say that he wasn't looking for a replacement for his old master. Even if he just wanted some peace of mind some distorted version of comfort. Flinching slightly at the others harsh yet accurate words describing him he could only sigh and look away. He wasn't entirely sure what happened, he had the cute side and now this one. This one was harsh and cynical. He didn't dance around the fact that he was messed up in fact he pointed out everything that was wrong with him and he felt vulnerable and exposed. Looking to him he nodded his head, if he really wanted to save this Tera from himself he would have to stay away from him and make it clear that he didn't want anything to do with him. But...part of that was a lie. So what if he enjoyed the comfort of his arms around him? Was it such a bad thing? Yes. He knew it was but he couldn't shake the feeling away. "You...are right. Perhaps I should focus on the training my parents are so desperate for me to do..it will keep me from wandering the streets...and the change of bumping into you..or...Tera..anyway would be much slimmer. " There was a heaviness to his words, as if this 'training' was really the last thing he wanted to do. It meant putting himself up beside his brother and trying to catch up to him. It meant hiding his true feelings...burying them along with his stash to be only allowed out when he desperately needed it. Gathering himself he went to sit on the bed the sheet falling away from his body as he held onto his shirt. Looking at it a moment before going to place it on himself. "I won't bother you again.."
The other starred at Kyruie for a long moment, arms crossing over his chest, giving him a somewhat surprised look. So he actually agreed with him? That had to be a first... Tera was constantly butting heads with him, going against what he felt was right, going along with whatever was interesting to him that day. He was like a child and that was probably why his mother wished someone to look after him. Tera would never be free of such people if he didn't stop wandering off, into the bad parts of town, so that he could play with someone like this! Sighing a bit he looked away, "Yes, you should see about focusing on training, at least that way the likelihood of Tera seeing you again will be significantly lessened." He would do as he'd always done, he'd be the one to protect Tera against the truly scary things, and leave him to deal with the... irritating things, like the one that called herself their mother, as well as the 'babysitter' that she felt that Tera needed. That wasn't for him to worry about, he was there for real threats and this Kyruie person was just that, a real threat, one that would get Tera into danger, possibly get him enslaved all over or killed, that wouldn't help him out in the least bit given that he was stuck sharing Tera's head space.
If he had to be cruel to chase Kyruie off then so be it, "I do hope this is the first and only time we will have to meet face to face like this then, Ky. Now, if you will excuse me I am going to head back home before Tera's so called mother realizes he's missing and tightens the leash that much more."
