Mihi had been on a hunt for his own meal, wandering among the people's legs and making a few trip and move away from his larger size. He wasn't afraid of them, he had no problems shoving his way through.

When he got a whiff of not only some meat, but also another cat--he couldn't help but turn and flip his long tail, when then settled to the backs of his thighs when he spotted the..smaller cat. Arching a brow, he pushed his sunglasses up and into his hair, he settled mismatched eyes on the stranger, snorting a bit as he wiggled in his spot.

"Great, another music-y cat," he mumbled to himself, large ears flicking forward.

"Whoa there," he smirked slightly at the snip of a response, moving to cross his arms over his chest while tapping his fingers to his arm, "Just passin' through, sir. Have a problem?" He chimed back at him, bright eyes showing amusement.

"You," he deadpanned, eyes going half-lidded..he had a feeling this guy had a chihuahua complex. Funny.

"Cant I pass through a good dining area? You haven't stunk up the place enough yet to make me think it's yours.." Or did he have a territory here? Hmmm.

Was this cat bipolar? Geez.

His mismatched eyes just followed the other's movements, and now he was beginning to think he was going to be ambushed. But pff, whatever. Bring it on.

Stepping forward, he flicked his tail once more and his ears perked forward, relaxing quite a bit when it was said that he could go snatch some of the scraps he could smell just behind that butchery door, "Mihi," he responded simply, giving a lopsided grin, "What about you, feisty pants?"

"Nosey," he hummed, his own tail waving along the backs of his thighs, the tip of his tail flicking this way and that while he sniffed about, looking for scraps near the back door. He knew they'd be tossing stuff out soon anyway, so maybe he'd just hang around until then, "Where I'm from?"

Mihi had never really wanted to be part of a territory--he didn't much like being bossed around. "Nowhere. Just runnin' on my own right now, but I came from a large territory near the university. My family lives there, at least," he paused, straightening back up, "They should be tossing food out soon. Mind if I way?"

He moved to crouch down in front of the bits of food, being kind this time around and taking things besides the steak. He was sharing his food, after all, so why not.

"I dont like my parents," he said blatantly, popping a piece of chicken into his mouth. humming in satisfaction, he licked his lower lip and reached for a smaller piece of steak to try. Not his favorite honestly, so he went back to the others, "I can get us a full steak," he looked up, eyes bright and amused once more.

"I just dont," he replied simply, popping one last piece into his mouth. He'd get more food in a few moments. He didn't want to go into his parents, it was hard to explain.

He hummed and looked to the other, bright eyes looking amused as a grin crossed his lips, "I can get it for you.. but you have to hide," he chimed, tone cocky. Pushing himself to stand when he heard the freezer door inside heavily open, he licked his lips and looked to the back door, "Ready? Better hide."

Good, good. He flicked his ears when the other did as he had said, chuckling a bit and moving away from the bedding that the other had previously been on.

When the back door opened though, and the butcher moved to toss the spare bits into the dumpster, Mihi made a run for the propped open door.. even if he was big, he was dark, and it wasn't very bright out. He made a mad dash through the metal counters and other such things, over to where the butcher placed packaged meat to be set out for the next day.. and all but mauled the pile, knocking a few pieces down with a wet 'thunk'.

He grinned and grabbed one of the smaller packages up with his mouth, hauling a** back towards the door.. the butcher had already started heading inside, and a firm kick to one of the metal racks made utensils topple and wax paper fly.. the loud cursing from the butcher was enough of a distraction for Mihi to skitter his way out of the closing door, and back into the alleyway, the steak still hanging from his mouth, no worse for wear.. he had even managed to keep it mostly wrapped and not dirty.
