Ｈｏｕｒａｉ'ｉｎ
Hourai'in are any sentient beings that have obtained immortality either directly or indirectly from the Hourai Elixir. They are incapable of death in anywhere from one to three degrees; if one takes a large dose, they will have all of the immortalities of doses smaller in size.
These three degrees are as follows:
The first degree, which is a 44mg minimum dose of the Hourai Elixir, makes the individual unable to mature past their current age, thus making them immune to dying from the complications brought on in old age. This is essentially what nearly all youkai and supernatural beings are capable of naturally.
The second degree, which is a 82mg minimum dose of the Hourai Elixir, makes the individual immune to all illness, cancers and nervousness of the body. Their body will perpetually remain in good health, obtaining an immunity to even simple things like the common cold.
The third and final degree, which is a 114mg minimum dose of the Hourai Elixir, makes the drinker truly immortal. Their soul will lapse permanently out of the cycle of life and death, now possessing an overpowering immunity to all judgments, possessions and attempts at destruction. The body that this soul inhabits will obtain a level of regeneration that will constantly heal up any obtained wounds. Lost limbs will regenerate from the body within less than an hour, broken bones fuse back together within fifteen minutes or less, and even fatal injuries (extreme or otherwise) will not cause the Hourai'in's body to die. They will never know death, and will be fully aware and awake during all experiences that would otherwise kill them. Ultimately, they will become utterly eternal in both body and spirit.
Outside of this absolute immortality and the fearful truth that comes with it, Hourai'in have many other unique details about them. After ingesting the third degree of the Elixir, their bodies will self-repair to a completely healthy state, invoked by the regenerative properties of the Elixir, and that will become something of a "blank slate" for an injured third degree Hourai'in to regenerate into. It also invokes a higher mental focus and sensitivity to magic, making an understanding and mastery of magic much more obtainable to the individual.
As it was engineered for Lunarian use, the Hourai Elixir has no otherwise-anomalous or negative effects on Lunarians. When used upon humans, the Hourai Elixir causes guaranteed loss of pigmentation in the body, particularly the hair and eyes. It probably causes other strange effects on humans, as well, but there has only been a single documentation of a human-turned-Hourai'in.
