Liira wiggled her nose in the dry Tale air. Why she was back here so soon she couldn't say. The war had just ended, and even though her parents had made her sit it out this time, she wasn't in such a hurry to help out with the aftermath either. But if the town was still recouping from all their refugees and no one was contacting her family for trades, her father couldn't exactly get business going again, and Tale pelts were still in demand.
She looked at the town around her and knew without a doubt that she would see him again. It had her sighing in exacerbation but almost on the look out at the same time. Sure, he was a p***k, but he wasn't totally bad company in an area she didn't know anybody in. She was supposed to be contacting their usual trade partners herself, but now, leaning against a bench in the market, she couldn't really bring herself to move. It was just so hot.

Tau's eyebrow lifted at the sight in front of him. She hadn't seen him yet, but he had seen her. This was his chance to surprise her. She would never see him coming, and then bam: he'd be in her face in no time.
He would have to be pretty careful not to muss up his paints of course. Even though there weren't as many now that he was older, he still had to take the time every morning to do it.
He sauntered his way up behind her, trying to keep out of her line of view. Good good, this was going great. He had reached nearly her back at this point before he casually slid his arms up and around her waist, pulling her into a backwards hug. Once he got a taste of his physique she would be all over him. He couldn't even help but smirk at how clever he was.

Liira was up in the air and finding it hard to breath before she could even comprehend what was going on. But when she did figure it out, she could feel her blood pulsing. With a furious wiggle, she pushed against his grip and shoved her elbow behind her hoping to make contact.
Sadly for her all she could find was air and she was still stuck in Tau's grasp. What was with this guy? "What the hell is wrong with you?!" She yelled. "Put me down, now!

Tau smirked in satisfaction. She couldn't get away. He laughed out a hearty chuckle and squeezed just a bit tighter, knowing he already enjoyed the feel of her body against his. To add to the effect he took a deep breath in and enjoyed the scent of her hair. "You smell good."
Her elbow jerked back and missed him completely thanks to his grip on her and it only had him laughing harder. "What's wrong with me? Seizing the opportunity. Is that really such a bad thing?" He raised an eyebrow before plopping her down and turning her quickly to face him. "I can see it in your eyes. You missed me." He left his hands on her shoulders.

Liira flailed and shoved, trying to do what she could to get out of his grip. b*****d. Stupid... a string of silent curses from through her mind that even her mother would disapprove of. "What're you, a creep now? I knew you were an idiot, but I didn't have you pegged for a stalker." She growled out as he eventually put her down.
She looked up, tilting her head back just to get a view of his face. Why'd he have to be so damn tall? The very significant height difference was working against her and she felt even smaller with his hands on her shoulders. Get offa me." She spat out, shoving his hands away from her. "I wouldn't miss you if you were the only person left on earth. I'd choose the weywa." She gave him a strong push and felt her body pulse with anger. She didn't like being touched.

Tau took in what she said with a slow blink. He was hurt. She really hadn't missed him? She was all he could think about lately, and that wasn't so unusual for him if it wasn't for the fact that he had stopped thinking about other girls. "Not even a little?" He halfheartedly teased, his body not quite as confident as it used to be.
He inhaled and got himself together, putting the smirk back on his face. "You have this look on your face like you're dying to hold me." He laughed out.

Liira rolled her eyes and scoffed. Though she was a bit more hesitant. She could see his ego was bruised, but with a shake of her head she realized she shouldn't care. What if he was hurt by what she said? She didn't like him anyways. She crossed her arms over her chest and pursed her lips. "If you think for a second that I want to even be near you, you have another thing coming."
Though she knew she was starting to feel otherwise. But why should she? He was pretty much a complete idiot.

Tau scratched the back of his head, feeling less and less like himself. She was digging deep, that was for sure. But then he saw something. A little waver, a little flutter of doubt there in her eyes... and he knew. He pounced at the chance to dig back. She liked him.
"You know... your mouth says 'go away' but your eyes say 'I want you'. You should probably fix that." He shrugged his shoulders and with one smooth movement had his lips planted firmly on her own.
Perfect. If this didn't woo her, nothing would. Though his own arrogance wasn't getting in the way of knowing that he had only been thinking about this for weeks.

It happened so fast Liira could only blink dumbly while her mouth was busy doing something else. But it didn't take long to register and her fist managed to firmly land into cheek.
She stood there, huffing and breathing heavy, her arms out at her sides fuming. The nerve.
But she then thought of something else. The fluttering in her stomach and the fact that... if she thought long enough about it, she actually liked it. She watched Tau stagger back, but this time she stepped forward, grabbing his vest in her hands and planted a firm kiss back. Like she meant it this time.
Who said a kiss had to mean she liked him? She could feel her body's wants and had other ideas all together for Tau.

Tau felt the hard impact with his jaw and the pain spreading through his face and felt the shame of defeat.
He was about to apologize, standing there with his hand on his cheek when Liira did the unthinkable. She pulled him in again. He enjoyed what happened next, letting his lips do what they hadn't really done before and experiencing the excitement through his body. Well if this was what it took to get a girl's attention he should have done it a long time ago. Ok, probably not. He was pretty sure that that was frowned upon by most people, but it worked this time right?
He couldn't help himself. Still locked with Liira he slowly reached down and put a firm hand on her backside, squeezing the soft flesh through the pants, already expecting another slap.

Liira gave a little squeak when she felt his hand linger. Tau was really asking for it, but after the initial shock she decided that with the game plan she had in mind he would be doing a lot more than that to her.
She pulled away from him and with a smirk on her face practically purred the words. "Wanna take this somewhere else?" Maybe she was shameless using him practically as a booty call, but it was the only perk she could think of for being in Tale. She started to pull him in the direction of the inn she was staying at.

This was new ground for Tau and he was suddenly nervous. Something he didn't remember feeling more than a few times in his life. And not at this level. He listened to her words and felt the pull of her arm trying to drag him away and he swallowed, trying to keep it cool.
He could do this.
He let her lead him to the inn and up the stairs to her room. With the door closed he pulled her in for a solid, hungry kiss and the rest was a blur.

Liira satisfied her wants and found a new appreciation in the place named Tale. She stretched out on the bed and rolled over onto her stomach. She lolled her head over to look at Tau. He had been nervous, she could tell. And she wondered if it had been his first time, or if he just liked her that much. She closed her eyes and let herself drift off a little, her skin soaking in the dry heat that never left Tale.
"I could get used to this, you know." She murmured to no one in particular. Then opening her eyes again looked to Tau. "And now that that's over, I should probably get dressed. You should too." She didn't really know how to tell him exactly that he had served his purpose and she was done with him for now.

Tau couldn't help but feel a roll of complicated emotions overwhelm him as he laid in the bed on his back, staring at the wooden ceiling above him. He watched Liira roll over, and then turned back to staring at the ceiling. She was his first. And he hadn't expected what had just happened to ever take place like it did.
But he also wasn't expecting the sudden ousting from the bed. He turned to look at her again, his face hinting at hurt before he put back on his smirk. What was he expecting? He had come onto her when they had only met twice before. He liked her more than he wanted to admit, and now that what had happened... had just happened... he was more involved. He wasn't the type to just toss that around and then leave. But apparently Liira was. But his thoughts were masked by his smirk. "Why so soon? We don't have to go anywhere yet?" He put on his own type of purr. "Who said we were even done?"

Liira cocked her head and laughed. "Well, I'm done, so we're done here." She lifted herself from the bed and grabbed her pants. "Maybe next time I'm in town we can try this again." She smirked.
She pulled on her clothes, leaving her heavy coat on a dresser. It was of no use to her in Tale, and after the... exercise they had just finished she would only feel worse in it.
