Razvan sighed pleasantly as he exited the theatre, slipping into the serene darkness of the caves. Though the workshop in which he spent most of his hours was just as blastedly quiet, the tribal caves had an ambiance that he couldn't resist venturing out into from time to time. There was the distant sound of the wind blowing through the cracks and crevices overhead, and the occasional soft drip of water filtering down. Tiny, unseen creatures scrabbled about in the dark, skittering or slithering around unnoticed and unseen. Being out in the wider, more cavernous spaces was cathartic in its own way, and as he proceeded down the smooth pathway that lead from the theatre, he wondered if he would encounter anyone inside the caves.
It would be a nice change of pace. Even though Raz had only been woven into existence one or two moons earlier, he still knew relatively few B'alam. More often than not, the caves seemed quiet and empty, not to mention the theatre. He thirsted for companionship, and even more so, for new experiences, even if it was just a new face. With his wings tucked closely to his sides, he stirred himself into a smooth run, quickly turning into a blur of color in the murky darkness. To anyone outside his tribe, he might have gone undetected, were it not for the small satchel strapped to his side, which emitted the soft, muffled jingling of a bell. Raz's eyes shone with mischief and hopefulness as he darted by a cluster of bio-luminescent mushrooms, his brilliant body momentarily illuminated as he passed through a natural corridor. The narrow area soon opened back up, and he found himself in another area of the main caverns.
Raz's golden eyes were peeled. He had drifted into an area he knew commoners frequented, since it was nearer to where homes were made, in all their nooks, crevices and crannies. Even if he didn't happen upon anyone, he realized, his late-night jaunt would not be wasted. The cool, damp air felt good on his face, and perhaps, if nothing else, he could take a short flight to exercise his wings. The prospect seemed more and more inviting, as he scaled up a short column of rock in order to scan the area more easily.

Drakiabel had little to do. He too had only been weaved to life a few days earlier... He knew few to no B'alam and was still learning the ways of the home he had been brought to life in. Still, he wanted to help. To make a difference in this strange and fascinating world he along with many others were just experiencing. So currently he was situated under a large curved rock where glowing mushrooms prospered. The slab was held upright by two other rocks and created almost a roof effect to the stony figure. Carefully the brightly colored male had his paw on the inside of the almost-house and was pulling away bits and pieces of mushrooms and fungus. He had to work slowly, baring caution in his mind. The moss seemed to have grown over one of the supporting rocks and if he did not move carefully enough the whole structure would come down on top of him. Being crushed was something he imagined was not enjoyable in the least.
"Ah ha!" He exclaimed while pulling the last fragment of white odd mushroom from the ground. As tempted as he was to eat it, to see if it made sense to consume Drak turned his upper body around and dropped the fungus into a small bag he possessed. There was not a single doubt in his mind it would come in use later, for decorating, for devising a recipe, for trading off to others who would surely be willing to accept...
Now finished with his mushroom-picking the brightly colored dark tribe member walked through the caverns in a search to find something new to do with himself. His ears would eventually find through the darkness the sound of a bell, a small low sound that he would normally overlook.
"Hello?" He called, amused as his echoed and bounced around the caves. "Is someone out there?"

Drakiabel's voice was what got Razvan's attention initially, and he looked down, squinting in an effort to locate the source of the sound. With the echoes erverberating against the cavern walls, it took him a moment, as his ears swiveled to and fro. When Raz finally caught sight of the brilliantly colored B'alam below, he felt his heart swell, and a smile stretched wide across his muzzle. Oh, what colors! There was nothing quite as delightful to the Toymaker's Assistant as someone or something that had such vibrant colors, and he swooped down quickly, gliding down from his perch atop the column of rock.
"Hello! Good evening! It's only me!" Raz's voice rang out comically, and he landed a distance away from his new subject of interest, carefully folding his wings before making his approach. The other tahtll's coloration was even more resplendent up close, and Raz could not help but laugh softly at the permanent grin on Drakiabel's face. He wondered whether the other's demeanor matched his countenance, but he wouldn't take long to figure it out. He swept into a polite little bow, and smiled affably, stopping just a couple of yards away from the other male.
"So nice to see someone out and about so early...or is it later than I thought?" Raz furrowed his brows for a moment. If it were evening, the emptiness of the caves would make sense...but if it were daytime, perhaps more B'alam had tucked away to rest? Not wanting to tussle with the logic of it, he abandoned his conundrum and stepped closer, regarding Drakiabel with a playful smirk. "I don't believe I've seen you around before. My name is Razvan...may I ask yours?" He tilted his head, watching Drakiabel expectantly and taking the chance to further admire the way the blue swirled along his chest and sides. Had he awoken very recently? Raz was tempted to tack the question on, but decided against it, not wishing to overwhelm his new acquaintance with too many questions at once.

Drakiabel took in the appearence of the new b'alam who came before him. How interesting! No wonder he had heard a bell, it looked like the B'alam was carrying one. Though why would anyone carry a bell around, he wondered?
"Only you." He repeated with a grand smile. It was nice that the new stranger was so very friendly, the other b'alam he had met were also friendly but they didn't seem, hmm, what was the word? Upbeat. Yes, that. They weren't as upbeat as this one was.
"Now that you mention it, I'm not really sure what time it is." It made him frown briefly, almost mimicking the other, but then Draki shrugged and went back to smiling. Oh well, so what if he didn't know what time it was? He wasn't tired anyways, so what did it matter?
"I awoke the other day!" He said almost proudly. It certainly helped explain why he was unfamiliar with the other, and he felt no shame in admitting that. "My name is Drakiabel, it's nice to meet you Razvan!"
