INFORMATION BEFORE YOU POST IN ANY AREA OF GENSOKYO

✪ฺ As there are many areas within Gensokyo, it is rather easy to get lost to where you are going! However, please be knowledgeable of where you post. Organization is a critical key of this guilds stability. If any thread is in the wrong subforum, it will be moved to the appropriate forum.

o Good Example: Satori lives in the "Ancient City" so you post in the actual "Ancient City" subforum.
o Bad Example: Satori lives in the "Ancient City" but you somehow manage to create a thread in "Misty Lake."

✪ฺ Treat other characters the way you would like your character to be treated. For example, do not go barging into an area to simply start a fight. If you cause any unnecessary tensions with anyone for no actual reason role playing wise, your post will be deleted and you will receive one danmaku shot.

✪ฺ Understand before posting, that if you choose a character from the canon list that you are responsible for reading up on where said character lives. If you choose a character and you are unsure of where they live, message me and I can let you know. DO NOT try to jump from area to area in any "god moderating" way. You can not simply teleport there. If you would like to move from one area to the other, you may create a Journey Process in your designated subforum. It can not be made full in one post. It takes time for people to reach places in Gensokyo. Not a long time, but it is a process. Be understanding of this. For example:

o Good Example: Yamame Kurodani resides within the "Ancient City" but she would like to explore outside of the city. The person who controls Yamame Kurodani takes said character on a journey, going through several places to get to their actual destination. Their journey process goes through multiple posts.

o Bad Example: Yamame Kurodani resides within the "Ancient City" and she would like to explore outside of the city. The person who controls Yamame Kurodani creates a single post detailing an entire journey vague of any information, travels or the like and simply implies Yamame made it there without doing anything at all.

✪ฺ When you see a
by any area, that is just to let you know that specific area is a main area. Any areas with a are just areas WITHIN main areas. Basically, sub areas. If you want to request a new area, private message me and I will see what I can do.

✪ฺ JUST SO NO ONE IS CONFUSED: You can post in main areas as well. Normally, some would be confused in a way such as, "So..Ancient City is the main location, but I can only post in one of the four sub areas?" No! You can post in the actual main area too! If it wasn't for the main area, we wouldn't have the sub-areas.

✪ฺ When you create a topic in any area, it is your responsibility to keep it active and upbeat. Even if you have no one role playing with you and you made a post by the end of your first day, you may post on your own accord and role play on your own too. Role playing isn't just a two, three, or four person job, it can be done all by yourself too!

✪ฺ ANY area that has "___'s House" do not post in it unless you have been given permission by the specific individual. You are probably wondering "Why can't I have a house?! Why is it specifics?" There are only SEVERAL characters who have homes, but you are allowed to create your own home within your designated area via topic. Not to mention! You can also choose whether or not to allow visitors when you deem necessary.

Eye don't get it...

So that means, my specific location would be Misty Lake correct? Does that mean that I am only allowed to post regularly within the Misty Lake sub-forum and if I want to post elsewhere I have to start a journey to get there? That being said, does that journey have to include an extremely long narrative saying every detail I got there or must it be a single thread with multiple posts saying how I got there with or without an encounter of another character?

Can I answer?

Certainly you, allowed to post regularly on the area you are in. And, not extremely long narratives. Just keep the post a bit concisely done, and once you get to the main area, and it's done.

Cirno the Ice Fairy

Hi Cirno! I just got home from work, so I apologize for the wait.

You are correct about your location, Cirno is in Misty Lake and that is where you may post to begin with. As far as the journey process is concerned,

Quote:
Do you mean a single thread with multiple posts saying how I got there with or without an encounter of another character?

That is exactly what I mean. Now, I'm not saying it has to be every single thing that happens to you within your posts, but just be somewhat logical and descriptive of the more important parts of the journey. It is up to you if you want other characters involved in your journey, as it is your journey. If you want a bit of a "road block" so to say, then you can ask if anyone wants to do such a thing!

However, you do not have to involve others if you do not want to. If you are still confused let me know.
