Myrsky was back to wandering about the wilderness of Tale, doing his best to find out the plants of this land and what uses they had. Much as he disliked healing, old habits died hard... He could have gone into that town he'd seen and asked, but Myrsky hated to rely upon others. It was a source of pride that he was learning this on his own and didn't need others. Dawn, his scorra, followed him about happily. She enjoyed the leisurely pace and security of being with another. She also had noticed that her savior tended to not pay attention when he was absorbed in his gathering or weird experiments with plants. So she kept watch for him, her eyes always scanning and warily watching for hunters. It was Dawn who noticed that something was trying to creep up on them. Small signs like the silence of the bugs and the rustle of the tall grass every now and then that did not bend with the wind. She gave a loud squawk and stamped her foot against the ground loudly, fluffing up her feathers in an attempt to scare off what ever was approaching. At that sound, Myrsky dropped what he was dong and went to stand by Dawn. " What is it girl?" He said as he scanned the area, his amber eyes narrowing as he spotted the slight movement in the grass. Deciding that it was better safe than sorry, he sketched a rune in the ground, imbuing power into it to summon forth a thick rock at the location of the wavering grass. A man, a man he recognized, was pushed into the air. He cursed and rolled off the rock to hide back in the tall grass. "You filthy hunter." Myrsky muttered under his breath. It had been one of the men he'd driven off from capturing Dawn. Focused on the Leaf man in front of them, neither Dawn no Myrsky spotted the man's partner sneaking up on them from behind.

Gyuri was out doing what he always did, making sure that the troupe was kept safe and content. Today's tasks were simple enough ones, he would do a bit of scouting around, making sure things were secure, and then he'd see about looking for something for dinner. It was almost funny, that he had never wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to become a hunter and yet he seemed to do a lot of hunting for the troupe to make sure they were well fed. There was a distant squawking sound, that of a bird, that drew the attention of the big man, making him wonder if that might be something that he could bring back to the troupe as dinner. A nice bird, depending on the size, might be able to feed the lot of them, so Gyuri turned on his heel to head in that direction. It sounded big enough, which made him hurry his steps a bit more, hoping to catch the creature before it was able to get away or caught by someone else.
As he finally reached a point where he could see his intended prey though he realized that the creature was actually with someone, a pet of sorts. Oops, best not to go after that one for dinner he thought to himself, giving a bit of a chuckle, about to turn when more sounds got his attention. Turning back he watched as what looked like a Leaf Tribesman went after the man with the bird. An odd sight indeed given that he was so used to everyone fighting it out with the Obans. It seemed that there was fighting still between the other tribes as well, something that almost made Gyuri want to shake the Leaf Tribesman. Didn't he know they had just gotten done with a war? Why were they starting fights when things were finally peaceful?
The Ice Tribesman with the braided hair was looking toward that first man that had come after him, seeming to miss the fact that his assailant wasn't alone. Gyuri watched for a moment before he was suddenly moving without even thinking about it. Perhaps he'd been with the troupe so long, playing the part of bodyguard, that he felt the need to look after everyone he saw. It obviously included this guy as well as he was quick to close in on them, reaching out with one large hand to grab hold of the second man by the back of his shirt. He tightened his hold on the man, dragging him away from the one he was trying to waylay, and lifted him up off the ground. He gave the man a shake before tossing him off to the side as though he weighed nothing, not about to let him just stab some guy in the back like a coward.

Myrsky sketched another rune, his fingers flicking about with practiced eased; summoning up his favorite element of ice. Small daggers of ice went shooting off into the grass and he was rewarded with a grunt of pain. Something had been hit! He flinched when he heard sounds from behind. Had the hunter brought his partner? He risked a glance over his shoulder to see an older ice tribe man flinging back the other leaf tribe hunter. Was this person.. helping him? Blast.. now I'll have to owe this stranger something... I hate that. "I'd rather not waste my time killing you disgusting hunters." He growled at the man he knew was out in the grass. "Bugger off before I change my mind."He barely managed to duck as a javelin was launched his way. "Get over yourself brat. That was our prey you stole! Thieves aren't welcome in tale." Myrsky spat off to the side. "Thief? You were going to kill her! As if I'd allow that." He scratched another rune into the air, causing a small rain of slim ice shards to scatter out from it towards the voice. Since it appeared that the other ice man was helping Myrsky decided to concentrate on the one in front. Dawn, recognizing these hunters crouched close the ground so she wouldn't be a target. Scary hunters were scary! Another javelin was launched, this time not at Myrsky but at Dawn. Cursing under his breath, Myrsky tried to summon a wall of ice as he placed himself between them but it was a puny wall, he couldn't make huge things, just long slim shards. The javelin sliced though the puny thin ice and lodged itself deep into his left shoulder. Myrsky cried out in pain and stumbled back.

Gyuri was a bit surprised at what was happening before him, and for a moment he wondered if he should have bothered to step in. The Zenan man seemed to be handling himself, and the hunters, rather well after all. There was also the fact that he found himself wondering if he'd jumped in on the right side, what if one of them accusing the man of being a thief. Hard to tell, but he'd picked his side, and he'd stick with it. He wasn't the sort to turn on someone in such a manner after all, besides the hunters had not only decided to attack the Zenan man two against one but one of them was going to attack his back. Gyuri might not know who was in the right in their argument but he at least know who was right as far as fighting fair went.
The hunter, determined to get back what had been stolen from him, the bird Gyuri found himself guessing, suddenly produced a javelin that he threw toward the mage. It was a startling sight, especially given the way the mage threw up an ice wall to try to save himself... but it was too little, too slowly it would seem as the javelin came crashing through the barrier and into the man's shoulder. It was a sight that made Gyuri go stock still... though only for a moment before he was charging forward toward the hunter, slamming one large fist into his face, effectively knocking the smug look off of it.
The blow sent the hunter flying and Gyuri didn't bother to see where he landed, instead rushing over toward the injured man, taking in the wound he had sustained, the javelin still lodged in his shoulder. It was something that made him panic inside though his outward expression remained the same as usual. What to do? Well, there was really only one thing he could do. He had to get the man to Makani! Makani was well versed in healing, especially after being a combat medic during the war. He set to looking the man over carefully before scooping him up. He had to get him back to the troupe and fast, before he chanced bleeding out.

Myrsky was startled when the larger ice man charged at the hunter to send him flying. Guess brute force has it's uses, he thought as he knelt down to see if he could pull the javelin out. He stopped when he found himself scooped up and carried off. "Hey! Whaa-- Put me down! I do not need to be carried like an invalid!" He said indignantly, one hand held to keep the javelin from moving and hurting him even more. Dawn, seeing them run, bolted after them, making small worried cheeps.

Gyuri gave the man in his arms a thoughtful look as he demanded to be put down, considering the request for a moment, but decided against it. He might very well be in shock after such an injury so putting him down could make it worse! What if he tipped over forward and drove the javelin in deeper? Or worse drove it all the way through? It was a thought that caused Gyuri to pick up speed instead of putting the man down. They couldn't risk it, they had to see to it that he was taken care of! If he'd just reacted quicker, maybe pulled the man out of the way, this wouldn't have happened. If this was one of his own people he'd be berating himself about his poor bodyguard skills. The fact remained though that he should have done more. As they got closer, and Gyuri could see the camp that he and his fellow troupe members had made, he gave a sighing sound of relief. Good, good, he thought to himself then said, "Almost there." To the one he was carrying along at a rapid pace. He had to get him to Makani and, luckily for the man in his arms, Gyuri could see Makani from here. Then again it was hard to miss that bright yellow hair of his. Rushing over to Makani he held the one in his arms out, as though presenting him to Makani. The blond turned to look toward Gyuri a moment, then chuckled, "Describe to me what you're offering?" Able to tell from Gyuri's hard breathing, as well as the scent of blood, something must be up. "Oh... Javelin in his shoulder." He said, seeming to recall the problem with just thrusting someone forward toward Makani without explanation. It had Gyuri flushing a bit as Makani got to his feet. "Javelin, hm? Are you still conscious? Your breathing and heartbeat say as much. Come, we will see about getting that out and fixing you up." He said, motioning for Gyuri to set the man down on the log that Makani had just vacated. Giving a smile as he listened to Gyuri taking a knee, and setting the man down, he then said, "Not often that Gyuri brings strays home. Do you have a name or do we get to name you?" He couldn't help but to laugh at that, obviously trying to lighten the mood as he reached out a hand, letting it hover over the other man's wound to get a feel for what he was dealing with.

"Do you normally kidnap people or is this a new hobby you've just picked up?" Myrsky asked acidly to the big muscle bound dolt who'd carried him all this way. "If you'd actually stopped I could have pulled it out and bandaged it myself..." He glared at the one that apparently he was being sacrificed too. "I can heal myself. I do not need charity! Nor am I a pet to be named." Myrsky scowled; what a weirdo! He had been going to at least say thanks to the older man.. until he'd been carted off! What type of idiot just carried a person off? He was thankful for the aid in battle.. but not for this! Dawn was unsure of what to make of this... they were helpers! But.. Savior was angry.. must be the wound that was making him so! These were allies!

Gyuri's eyes went wide at the mention of 'kidnapping people' being a hobby and instantly he was shaking his head. No, no, it wasn't meant to be like that at all! He'd just wanted to make sure that he was alright, that he got the proper care, that he lived through that attack. To think that the Leaf Tribe would be so violent when a war just ended, shouldn't they be enjoying the peace for at least a little while longer? None of this came out of Gyuri's mouth though, he merely shook his head before saying, "Nothing so dire as that." It wasn't a hobby, that much he could assure him, right? Makani couldn't help but laugh, "Try not to be so hard on Gyuri, ever since my sister dubbed him 'bodyguard' he's taken it upon himself to save everyone in the world." He told him, then gave a tsking sound, "Yu would just pull it out and bandage it? And if it hit something vial and your wound started to gush with blood like a river? Best that you actually get help for something like this. Better then risking your life, or your arm, over foolish pride." He told the stranger who still refused to give a name, "Think of this not as charity but as you not taking a gamble that might end with your arm falling off." Alright, that might be a little bit more dire then what could happen but one never could tell when it came to infection and the awful consequences that could follow that. "I just need you to lay back and we can get that out and your wound tended to. The sooner we do the sooner that Gyuri can release you back into the wild." Gyuri gave him a look as though to say that it wasn't like that... but then recalled that the look was lost on Makani so he merely waited, to see what the reluctant patient said, wanting ot get this underway. Surely that javelin couldn't feel good where it was and the sooner it was removed the better.

Orpheus Solon Myrsky thinks the worse of Makani.... Myrsky scowled and pushed away the other's hand. "What part of I know how to heal do you not understand? Nor do I need to be released to the wild like some animal..." Just because he didn't like to didn't mean he didn't know how.. and maybe the other older ice hybrid was a better healer. But Myrsky did not like the other's tone; he was not some child to be talked down to! Sitting up he examined his wound; the javelin had gone clear through... but that just made it a bit easier on him. Muttering to himself he formed an ice dagger and sliced off the shaft of the javelin and shoved the other half out through the wound. he bit his lip to keep from crying out. It hurt! Badly.... And he could see that the wound could bleed out.. but that was easily taken care of! His hands were trembling but he managed to change the ice dagger into a block of ice inside the wound itself. There, cold to freeze the blood and keep infection from setting in! "I am fin--" He tried to say as he stood up. The loss of blood earlier and the pain however had different plans; the world got fuzzy and he stumbled backwards... " Dun need help.." he muttered before fainting.

Makani gave a sighing sound, "Seems that someone lacks a sense of humor, Gyuri." Then again there were a lot of people that didn't quite get Makani's sense of humor, one of those things that he'd developed over time, and this young man was missing it completely. No matter though, so long as they could catch hold of him and... that thought was interuppted when he heard the man shifting around, then smelled the increase in the flow of blood. Sighing a bit he asked, "He did something stupid, didn't he? Kids these days." As though Makani were that old personally but it seemed to suit the situation. He listened as his patient went about declaring that he was 'fine' and that he 'didn't need help' a moment before he pitched over backwards. The next thing Makani heard was Gyuri rushing forward to catch hold of the guy before he hit the ground, scooping him up once more, and the big man stood there once more with Myrsky in his arms. Well now, that wasn't at all how he had expected that to happen... but then again Makani was good at teasing people, wasn't he? He just wished that he wouldn't when it came to this somewhat prickly guy. No matter, now that he was out he should be easier to deal with, right? At least Gyuri sure hoped so. Stepping in closer to Makani the big man once more held Myrsky out to him and Makani chuckle, "It's alright, I will make sure to patch up your little friend, Gyuri. Though once I do you will need to probably see about letting him get back to... well, whatever it was he was doing. Not sure if he is the sort to stick around and join an entertainment troupe what with his lacking humor." Reaching a hand out he gave the unconscious man a little pat on the head before he set to work tending to the wound that the man had patched up in a somewhat primitive and messy manner. It worked, but he couldn't say how long it would have continued to work. No matter though, they would see to it that he was fixed up and sent on his way, once he was feeling better at least.

When Myrsky came to; he felt terrible. Pulling that javelin out and sealing it with ice was good in theory...in practice it hurt. Not that he'd tell the other healer that! No way! He was also embarrassed... Passing out because of pain? What a weak and pathetic thing to do! He growled to himself and sat up, glaring about the small tent. The man who'd helped him before was sitting nearby. He got a scowl and glare as well. " Did you have to bring me here? And where exactly is here? He growled; why would he want to be around others? Especially after fainting... better to faint elsewhere where no one would be around to mock him!

Gyuri had brought the unconscious Myrsky to one of their tents upon Makani's insistence, to let the man sleep off the stress of being wounded, as well as the trauma of him tearing that javelin out. Not the best way to go about things and even after being healed his body would remember for a time. As such Makani told Gyuri to look after the patient and let him go only if he felt that he was looking ready for it. He'd do it himself but the man was Gyuri's responsibility and the giant of a man didn't mind keeping an eye on him. Guarding people and keeping them safe was his duty as a bodyguard after all. The patient was no different in his eyes.
Lifting his head as he heard the other man's voice Gyuri gave a smile, not even really minding that he didn't sound happy. The fact that he was awake was what mattered most if you asked him. As such he was only too happy to give him a smile and answered simple, "You were hurt." He was hurt, had something stuck in his shoulder! Surely he must know that it was best that he was brought to a healer? Though... he supposed that he probably could have explained it better. A shame he was so bad at explaining things he thought to himself.
After a moment he realized that the man had asked a second question, asking where they were, and he said, "Camp." Not the most in depth answer but it was true, as well as where they were.

Myrsky wanted to take affront but.. it was hard when the other party was in the right. So he just grumbled and looked about before swinging his legs over the cot edge to sit up. He was a bit light headed but figured he could ignore it... "Is there food here? And what do I need to do to trade for it." He asked shortly. Food would help him regain the lost blood and get him out of here quicker! The teasing half iceling was someone he didn't want to meet again.. he'll mock me. This is a camp.. so there must be other's about.. Myrsky wondered what these two ice tribe members were doing out here. Were they returning from the war? If so, then maybe they could give him some information.

Gyuri watched Myrsky very closely with his mismatched eyes, taking in his current condition, before he gave a slow nod of his head at the question about food. It made sense, after what he'd been through and his long sleep it made sense that he would want something to eat, best that he went to fetch that. Pushing up to his feet, though having to lean over a bit so as not to bump into the tent ceiling, Gyuri turned on his heel left the tent for a moment. He was gone only a short time, long enough to fetch the patient some food out of their ration stores, before returning with the food and a water flask in hand. He then came to settle down back in the seat he'd vacated a moment ago. The food, some dried meat and dried fruit, were offered to Myrsky along with the water and said, "Trade it for your name?" He wondered if the man would give him his name otherwise? Given that he didn't seem too happy to be here he was curious if offering food in exchange for his name would even work... but he supposed that it was worth a try. It wasn't as though there were anything else that Gyuri really wanted or needed, he was content with what he had after all. Giving a smile he wanted to see if the trade offer would be one that the man would agree to.

Myrsky looked at the other and sighed. "Myrsky is my name and I meant a different trade! I do not like being beholden to others." Now that he was actually paying attention and was a bit more aware; he noticed that the man he'd thought was an ice tribe... was also a hybrid. Shifter by the looks of the paler stones and that odd different eye. If my father saw him and compared us he'd have to see that I'm not a shifter mix, Myrsky thought bitterly; it's obvious when you're a half blood! But that was in the past and behind him. "You mentioned this was a camp? Is it a half breed camp?" He asked, slightly curious. Since there were two half bloods... were their more? Had their parents treated them like his father had him?
