Kaalnia accepted the cream. ”You should be careful about burrows, you know? I got my foot caught in them once and tripped.” she said conversationally, rubbing the cream into her wounds.

Ow. Ow! It stung! But it left a sort of numbness in its wake. ”Wasn't anything in them, though, I just fell on my face...” she laughed, ”Didn't hurt, but it got my headdress dirty so...” she handed the cream back, ”Wasn't fun, you know?” She grinned, remembering, ”Thankfully, no ladies to see it... then again...” she said, thoughtfully, ”Sometimes they just like pity! I don't blame them. And I probably looked pretty funny and hey, I'd rather make a pretty lady laugh than hit me, but, well...” she snickered, ”Still glad nobody saw it.”

A realization came to her. ”Wait, you like girls right? Too? I mean, I know a bunch of males do but, uh, some like other males.” she couldn't imagine why, but hey. If they weren't into boobs, more boobs for her, she guessed. ”I mean, it's totally okay if you do, I'm just checking and all...” she added, not a whit of shame about her.

”Anyway, why were ya looking in the burrows?” she asked, ”Not much in there but sand, right?”

Kiyelt snerked and put some of the cream on his own bites. "Yes I like girls, I find them beautiful, pleasing and curvy. Men can be beautiful too but I like women. Well one woman in particular, she's only half sure I am real you see its a bit of a downer to be considered a figment of her imagination when I am in love with her."

"Would you understand it if it happened to you? Being you know a woman yourself?" Kiyelt was reasonably sure he was stepping in a different kind of burrow but Yelena was cryptic and he wanted answers that were not answered with more questions for once. He capped the cream and sighed. "Least these were small beasties I assume I wouldn't have enough cream for something larger then they are."

Relaxing against a rock he watched her lazily. She had more spunk in her little finger then he had in his whole body.

That they were, but...

Whoa, wait...

Love.

Kaalnia hadn't been expecting that off the bat. Sure, it wasn't for her (which was good because, though they were fun and all, she was not into males), but she hadn't been expecting such powerful emotions so soon.

Not that she minded, really. She leaned against the rock and watched him with eager curiousity. ”Maybe!” she said, ”Never been in love or nothing, never found that special one, but hey. People in love seem to know it, right? You do.” she grinned, ”But yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd know it too. I like plenty of people...” of males too, and ladies obviously, ”but I don't think I, you know, love 'em. Not that way, anyway.” she shrugged. It was not something she was ashamed with. She was a friend with benefits, that was what she was and, though she knew it hurt some of the people who wanted her to be more than that, she couldn't help them. She could, though... help them find someone matched to them. She was good at that.

”So.” she said, leaning over, ”Who's the lucky lady? C'mon, tell me!” she grinned, ”She's pretty, isn't she?”

Hmm well that was not quite as helpful as he was hoping for, Yelena remained a mystery to him. Ah well.

"Oh yes she is so beautiful, shes part alkidke you know with them long sexy feelers and gorgeous blue skin....." he stared off for a bit. "Lovely bright yellow eyes. Her name is Yelena and to tell the truth I fell in like the first time I saw her. Now that has blossomed to something more, but I had to go to the war..to protect my family at least in the second battle Yelena was there too but I'm afraid the separation both brought us farther apart initally then closer together you know? Its so hard to explain.

"I confuse myself trying to figure it out."

Part alkidike? Score. Kaalnia had a thing for halfbloods – they were gorgeous, always gorgeous, and the poor dears needed some affection in their lives, even the males. Especially the males... poor Votzhem. Kaalnia helped out where she could, but could she help that she'd rather be with the lovely ladies, with their various colors...

She followed along in his description, imagining the lady he spoke of and remembering Yelena, from just after the first battle of Neued. That was an exotic beauty, with her gorgeous colors and skin and crystals and...

Wait, it was Yelena?! ”No way!” Kaalnia exclaimed, ”Yelena?! I know her!” she grinned, giving the ice man she just met a powerful slap on the shoulder, ”Nice going!” she congratulated him, ”She's one gorgeous woman.” she nodded emphatically.

It was dissappointing to hear, sure, but also great! She knew the lady he was in love with, and that was just plain neat! Kaalnia loved it when those sorts of connections popped up .

”Hey.” she said reassuringly, ”Just give it time. Some people've gotta be together, and some people need time apart.” she grinned, ”Now that the war's over, you can spend a lot of time with her! Lucky!” she sighed, a little enviously, shaking her head. ”You lucky b*****d.”

Her brain whirred and clicked, ubidden. ”Hey.” she said suddenly, taken by her idea, ”I think I can help you win her over.” she stood, gesturing to herself, proudly. ”I bet you've already done it, but it's always good to cement these things...” she thought for a moment. She'd just met him, but... well. She knew how to make sure that he was good enough for the gorgeous and sexy Yelena. And a match.

”Here. Come with me.” she said excitedly, beckoning the Ice man with the funny streak in his hair to the jungle.

"You know her too?" Kiyelt tilted his head, should he be concerned? In a way...of course if Yelena were to choose Miss Kaa he would understand why, she was tall and beautiful. "Time, yes time, I'm not that patient but I know I have to be." He curled up a little, then she mentioned a plan. He liked plans.

"You have a way? How so?" Now he was interested, piqued even. His eyes widened and he trailed after the powerhouse of energy like a lost puppy. He needed help with his Yelena that was for sure, he just didn't know what to do anymore. "Cement sounds good!"

Okay the jungle meant one of two things...flowers or acts of bravery. This was about to get very interesting.

What did she have in store? Did she see how the poscuta had beaten him up? Would she set him up against a radaku or something? Not that he wouldn't try as he needed all the valor he could get but..he was going to need bandages after this.

”Yeah!” said Kaalnia, grinning at Kiyelt, oblivious to any and all jealousy, ”My buddy and I met her up in Zena, just a bit after the first battle.” she neglected to say why they had gone all the way to the snowy lands – carrying the dead was not fun. ”and... well, you gotta give her a present. I know exactly what present to give her...” she jumped easily over a fallen tree and with a delighted grin of recognition she led the Ice tribesman over to a pond. ”Okay, you see there?” she pointed to a bunch of spitorogs idling by the pool, ”You see the things on their back?” she grinned, ”Get the crystal spines, get them worked, and then tell an epic story about how you got 'em as you give her a gift made from 'em. Like... a necklace. Ladies love crystals.” she said, nodding wisely, ”Especially if they're gifts. So...” she twirled her spear, ”Lets get them, I'll even help!”

“Well I have given her a necklace, I have my half here you see?” He pulled out half a metal pendent. “I broke it when I met her and gave her the other side. In return she gave me a feather which I now keep with me Dad brought it back with him when he visited.
He peered at the spitorogs. “Are they as slow as they look? One thing about Poscuta is they are fast, spitorogs don’t look all that fast or dangerous, have you had any experience with them? I haven’t any experience with them at all, we don’t exactly have them in Zena..to cold I expect..and I’m pretty sure the fish would eat them. Do the crystals just come out?”
He sidled down the bank and went for it. As it turned out they were slow and he outmaneuvered two for their crystals but the last one, which was a rather large spitorog managed to sit on the foot that the Oban warbeast had crushed. It throbbed immediately and Kiyelt had to retreat with his handful of crystals. “Ow, ow, ow, honestly the one weak spot and it found it right away!” He crawled back up the bank.
Sitting back down on the look out he let his foot rest while he peered at the crystals in his hand. “Do you really thing she will like these? Would you recommend another necklace? Or perhaps a bracelet or anklet?” Hmmm well she already had a necklace so he guessed bracelet it was.

”Ooo, a locket! Nice.” Kaalnia commented. ”They go whatever speed they please, and not usually the speed they need to be at.” she skewered a third one and brought it over. ”And don't worry, they breed like crazy. It's hell on the ears on their season. Trust me.” she winked, working the crystals out of her spitorog and handing them to Kiyelt, looking over the lot of them.

”Of course she will.” Kaalnia said, confidently, ”I mean, look at those colors! What lady wouldn't like colors like that?! Plus they go great with her blue-green skin. She's pretty radiant and, I'm telling you, these will bring that beauty out!” She thought for a moment.

”But maybe not another necklace... don't want to take away from your locket, you know? Locket's are pretty special. Bracelet... anklet... ooo, maybe a decorative belt or waist string...” she trailed off, ”Say, what's she thinking of doing? Is she gonna be a Blade, do you know? I'm asking 'cause I know this weaponcrafter and she'd put the crystals in a weapon for her if I asked.”

“A belt would look great I think.” Thank you so much for your help, Kaa, I have to admit I;m a bit lost in these matters. IF she gets any more beautiful I wil be toast.” He grinned. “Oh, Yelena also wants to be a Beast Tamer. I’m not the only one obsessed with critters. I don’t know if she can be a blade, does it depend on how much earthling blood a hybrid has? Isn’t that fellow Yaholo, something other then a blade?”
Crystals sounded interesting as blades for weapons, he thought only those with at least some alkidike blood could get it, so it was a double moot point for him. “I’m not entirely sure how close she is to the alkidike people, she has been in Zena, that much I know, did she tell you if she had been to the isle’s? I think she is all that close to anyone.” Perhaps that is why it was so hard to get close to her. He poked the crystals around his hand idly. “ I can’t wait to get to know her better.” He said, his heart in his eyes. He knew he had it bad but it was something he simply couldn’t explain.

It now can count for a rp

”Bahaha, but you'd be the good kind of toast, right?” Kaalnia said, laughing, ”And I'm happy to help! With a fine lady like Yelena, you owe it to her to really wow her, you know?” she shrugged. ”Well,” she began, bullshitting a little as she didn't entirely know, ”You've got to have someone to train you in all the special styles and help you learn to draw from our mother Tree's life force, and all, so that kind of depends. I know hybrids that've gone completely different paths...” Kaalnia smirked, ”Like Lassarra. She was one sexy halfbreed, let me tell you...” Kaalnia savored the memory of the girl's smooth, black skin and her bright white hair. Lassarra had been one of her first intimate girlfriends since Tzofi, and she remembered all of their names. ”Mmm, Yaholo? I don't know him so well, but I think he uses a big ol'hammer and that's not a blade weapon. So I'm thinking, no.” Kaalnia shrugged, ”And I offered to take her to the Isles, but she didn't take me up on it...” she sighed, ”Oh well, my loss, your gain.” She grinned mischeviously and leaned in, putting a strong hand on Kiyelt's shoulder, ”If you're the one that gets your blue self close to her, make sure to give her a kiss along with that necklace for me, eh?” she chuckled and drew back. ”Ooo, speaking of which, need any help with stringing it? I can help you do it, if you'd like.”
PostPosted: Mon Jan 05, 2015 5:15 pm

"Yes I would be the good kind of toast." He smiled. "Hmm I don't suppose you have a handy dandy drill on you? I don't know how to string them."

"You know Kaa your welcome to visit me any time, I enjoy your company and your advice, its been hard not having my ma around for advice and cookies...Dad's advice..well it depends on what day it is whether it profound or designed to get you into even more trouble." He laughed happily.

”Aww, thanks.” said Kaalnia, ”I'll take you up on that! Always happy to find someone to chat with about girls. Shame you're not one yourself, right?” she laughed.

”And the beads? Don't worry about that, I've got a friend...” she began, chattering as she led him off...
