Trinity was walking home from work, steps idle as she passed flickering streetlamps en route home. It wasn't a busy night - not so close to Thanksgiving, but it was something and Trinity wasn't going to waste nice weather by driving, or, in her case, taking a bus. Tonight was for walking, and the woman hummed a Pat Benetar tune as she walked, hands in her pocket as 'Hit me with your best Shot' echoed in a whistle along the way.

Today Yumi was just hanging out. She'd snuck out of Rose's room again because that house was just far too noisy for her with all those kids running a muck. Oh, the cat liked kids, but there was a limit to her patience, and she hit it about five in the morning when everyone got up for school. It was pure chaos with sleepy, snapping kids. They stepped on her tail one too many times or closed her tail in the door or dropped something on her. Luckily it was never heavy, but Yumi learned after two days to just leave in the mornings. Unfortunately for her she'd stayed out all day because Rose was in school and had more classes afterwards, which meant Yumi was on her own until she got back. The cat yawned as she looked out at this area from her tree limb perch and then tilted her head to the side when she heard someone singing. How late was it? And that's when she noticed the sun was no longer up and she'd literally slept past time for Rose to be home. Crap! Just as she was about to hop down, a youma energy hit her and made her stomach churn into knots. "Oh no," she whispered, looking around. There was just this girl, purple and white hair, around so maybe the youma wouldn't attack. For now, Yumi just waited, seeing what would pan out. She needed to go fetch Kepler to dust it, but she had to look out for the safety of this girl too. It was simply her duty!

Trinity was well and fine a few moments longer, but it was hard to ignore a sudden drop in temperature, and the girl stopped, blinking. She felt stalked by a large thing, the kind of thing she usually saw on corny B-movies and old 80's shows and videos, and she looked around before adjusting herself, purse moving out of the way before she cracked her knuckles, even as mist float around her ankles slowly, seeming to bubble and seep from the bushes like tendrils, and Trinity hissed sharply. (Un)fortuanately for Yumi, the human below was entirely unafraid of the area, and she growled in her chest, deeo and low. "Alright a*****e," Trinity hissed. "If you plan to try mugging me, I propose you keep ******** walking."

Well, that hadn't been expected. Shifting a little, Yumi jumped down from her perch and just moved to wind herself around the girl's feet. Maybe she could lead this girl to the safety of public, or a street light. Maybe Yumi could walk her home. The cat gave a few meows before tugging on the girl's pants with her teeth and darted off a few paces before looking back at her. Yumi meowed, trying to get the point across to follow her. No matter how strong a civilian was, they weren't as strong as a senshi. They couldn't dust a youma. For the love of the moon, please, please follow me.. As soon as she thought it, there was a rustling from the bush next to the tree she had literally just jumped from. Oh dear. This was going to be a very long night, wasn't it?

Trinity paused, blinking at the cat at first. Was that it? "Hey, pretty kitty cat, where's your people?" Trinity asked softly. She took a few steps to follow, before the rustle drew her attention, and Trinity turned, trying to sheild the kitten with her legs as she glared sharply. At least until what looked like a beast made of mist and marbles - were those marbles? - seep[ed out, and she blinked. "Oh s**t." Trinity murmured, and spun, reaching to try scooping Yumi up,. "Let's leg it pretty kitty!"

Being picked up was fine as long as the girl got out of the area quickly. Luck just wasn't on the feline's side today, and the girl stopped because of the rustling and the beast stepping out. With a growling hiss Yumi jumped out of those arms as soon as Trinity picked her up and stepped in front of her. Without much else, Yumi jumped at the beast and took a swipe out of it with claws that were as razor sharp as a cat's claws could be. The youma was quicker than her, unfortunately, and took it's own swipe at Yumi, knocking her back to the ground. She couldn't twist herself to land on her feet fast enough, which meant she went skidding across the side walk and rolling a few times. Whimpering in pain, the petite cat opened her light blue eyes to look out as the youma was nearing the girl. "RUN!" Oops, that was kind of blurted out.

The cat was a talking cat. Well. That needed addressing soon, but for not the notion of running seemed appropriate-- Trinity had no idea what the thing was, only that it had attacked the cat, and Trinity moved, trying to aim her path to scoop Yumi again as she bolted. "Take your own advice, kitty cat!" Trinity warned. "Don't want to be soup!"

There. There was a flash of light from the girl's forehead and Yumi knew she had a Senshi on her paws. Swallowing and dodging those arms (as much as she wanted to be in them) Yumi closed her eyes and concentrated until a henshin pen popped from subspace and clattered to the ground in front of her. "Take this! I need you to take this and hold it up! Say Ferris Power Make-Up! Quickly! The youma could attack again at any minute!" It seemed the youma was waiting for it's moment, or just playing with them.. Yumi didn't know or care which one, this youma needed dusting right here.

...A pen? Trinity wanted to question it - she desperately did - but having a monster and talking cat already, she didn't argue, picking it up rapidly before giving Yumi a porpuseful look. This had better work. The pen sparkled in sunlight as Trinity lifted it, shutting her eyes before wincing, using the command explained. "Ferris Power, Make Up!" And then, change.Sailor Ferris hadn't expected herself to change, least of all into the fuku of a terrorist, but questions came after fighting, and she hesitated before turning towards the monster. JEM NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS s**t. "So I can punch the thing better like this or- something?" She hoped so. VERY MUCH.

Terrorist. Yumi would have scolded her if she knew she'd thought that. When Ferris changed before her eyes, Yumi nodded at her question. "You're a bit stronger and faster! LOOK OUT!" Just like that the youma charged the new Senshi, knowing that a Senshi spelled trouble for it. It growled and bit at Ferris's arm, trying to sink it's teeth in to causer pain if it couldn't catch her off balance. Yumi couldn't attack it right now, she was hurting from being thrown like she was earlier. "Quick, get some distance between you two! I'll teach you what to do next!"

That youma was huge. Sailor Ferris glared at it, firm and hard as she decided totwist aside, twirling sloppily to run again, keeping one eye on the youma - and the other on Yumi. Lesson or not, if the cat was in danger, Ferris went in for a bashing, fists or not, magic or not, and she huffed irritably, glaring at it. "What I'd give for an amp and a mic hooked in here." She joked weakly. The right note broke glass - maybe freaky hellbeasts from the moon or whatever died easily too?

"Good now!" Yumi hobbled along after her, trying to keep up with her injuries. "Look deep inside yourself. Concentrate! There's magic there. You'll know what to do when you find it!" She got in front of Sailor Ferris and closed her eyes, lowering her head before blasting the senshi with a well placed energy beam at the youma. Fortunately for Yumi, and unfortunately for the youma, it was too slow to dodge and she managed to stun it! "I am so good," she hummed to herself, bouncing before turning to look at Ferris. "Go, go! Use your magic, Ferris!"

Ferris has to think before she could dig, but she soon delved in a span of minutes to her, seconds to the world outside. Was time relative? Time was relative, and she looked to Yumi, blinking - CAT magic? Oh boy - before she took a breath and focused on the ouma, snapping her fingers. "IAnd then lunged right at it with a fist. Quote: Flash from the Past Sailor Ferris uses this attack fairly simply. She focuses on one opponent and snaps her fingers. The target will then be overcome with strong feelings of longing for a past location, event, or other sentimental thing from that person's past for 30 seconds. The more sentimental a person is, the more likely they will cry, however it makes concentration incredibly difficult. Used 3 times a day. The target may move within a 4 foot by 4 foot radius and must be within 4 feet of Ferris. Moving outside this range or out of the radius will avoid or negate the attack respectively.

No ignore the cat magic, Ferris, focus! Yumi wasn't saying this out loud, but she was definitely mentally screaming it. The youma was hit with Ferris's magic and looked more confused than anything. Then, without warning, it's face seemed to crumple up like it was trying not to cry and it stood there, making horrible groaning noises. "Yes, it's weak! Give it a couple of good licks and it should be dust!"

Ferrist grinned and moved, swinging to uppercut the youma aggressively with a grin, eyes flashing eagery. "NOW we're talking my language!" She noted.
