Acorn Mountain, First Snow and Ciaran all were in the Top 3 of the previous races, so this one will be an interesting match.

The Break
And they're off! First Snow takes the lead, but there's no room between her and Acorn Mountain. Ciaran paces in the middle of the group, while Lucia, Sidewinder Fire and Caustic Sunshine fill the rear.

The First Stretch
Acorn Mountain is still on the tail of First Snow, and they both are pushing forward in the lead. Ciaran is still in the center, but Caustic Sunshine has caught up to Lucia. Sidewinder Fire remains in the back.

The Pace
First Snow and Acorn Mountain are setting an extremely fast pace. Neither one wants to let up and let the other get a big lead. This could hurt them in the long run, though, if they run out of steam. The back horses could take this opportunity to wait back and sprint at the end.

The Turn
As they move into the first turn, First Snow creates a small gap between her and Acorn Mountain. Caustic Sunshine has almost caught up to Ciaran, with Lucia right behind. Sidewinder Fire is still back in the rear.

Rannon was excited from Coyote's earlier success and she was bitting her nails as her two boys came around the turn. They were pretty far back but the pace was staggering.

Race Factor
This race seems to be testing the class of the horses. None of them have faced very high levels of competition, so it shouldn't have too much of an effect.

The Final Stretch
And they are emerging from the turn. First Snow struggles with the fast pace of the race, and Acorn Mountain races past her. Caustic Sunshine, who has been biding towards the back takes this chance to sprint into second place. Lucia manages to stay ahead of Ciaran, while Sidewinder Fire remains in the back, catching up to, but unable to pass his competitors.
