A smith, no matter the field, needs tools to help them. This smithing-centric shoppe hosted by Yakou 'Kaza' holds some discounts, while also being a sort of catch all for those that need them. Consider having at least one [1] of everything listed here, if banding together to form a crafts guild. Delivery is available for 100 ryou per week per person that the deliverer is out, with it taking an average of 1 week to simply get to a major hidden village.

Variable Marbles
Variable Marbles are curious stones of varying sizes, each of which exhibits a response to being fed chakra. Some glow, others hover, but in the end, they can be thrust into the smithing process to yield fantastic items. Weapons that suck in light, armor that duplicates itself, and smithing hammers than can work without heat are only a few ideas that can come from here. In creating a variable marble--which is an A-rank task--each ore present has a different compatibility with Variable Marble materials. In addition, each Tier of ore has a different affinity with how well they express themselves with any Variable Marble material put into them. Affinity only tells someone how well it works, as indicated by the individual components. Infusion Artificers, depending on their specific title rank, are also able to add additional affinity up to the maximum of Supremely.
If you wish to buy one from a shop, these typically run at a few hundred ryou a pop. Some are offered in discounted packs, so if you see them like that, buy them quick! Others, that are not sold, must be personally created by an Infusion Artificer. It should be noted that Variable Marbles do not pay attention to who is friendly, who is not, or where chakra/stamina that fuels it comes from, requiring cautious handling for many of them. Consider all effects given as permanent, non-chakra sourced effects unless otherwise specified.

Myurai walked into the shop with a smile still upon his face. Making his way to the counter he nodded,"I need everything on this list taken to the docks and loaded onto the three ships there. Berths twenty two, twenty three, and twenty four." The shopkeeps eyes widened a bit,"You know this is going to be a large amount of money correct." To which Myu simply shrugged,"Eh its of no concern to me." After a long period of time the man reappeared and gave him the total. Much to his surprise myu simply handed him a large briefcase of ryo. After some time of him counting it out myu was given the rest of his money from the case in a large envelope and his supplies were on their way. As was he for his next location.

Post 3/3 for Marbles x5 Post 4/8 for Climate Control Marble Post 0/8 for Bright Marble
Bast strolled around to the back of the shop without stopping to introduce herself to anyone, then plopped the stump down. After pumping some coal in and starting the fires in the glass forge roaring, she whipped out a length of wire and used it to split the stump into five sections. Such was the first step of her endeavors.
The next step was the preparation of the ingredients. Using the technique created by her student in a fit of brilliance, the Tao Te I'Ching of Sanshi Satetsu, she reached into the threads that ruled over its existence and changed each of the five pieces into something different. To start things off, the largest chunk she turned into a powder of sodium carbonate, lime, and silicon dioxide. She immediately shoveled this into the furnace to melt it into glass. It didn't take long for the sandy mixture to turn into a molten mixture, turning it into prime material for the creation of the marbles. Using a specialized siphon to form the marbles, Bast dripped the molten glass out into a bucket of warm water, where the marbles would cool while she worked.
While the marbles cooled, the woman continued converting materials. It was rather difficult to get used to such an activity. Plucking at the strings of reality was something that was difficult to get used to, even for someone with her experiences. Gunsei followed a similar principle, but the final result was something more simple and stable. It was also much more forceful than Tao Te I'Ching, applying external bindings rather than altering the internal structure. Of course, their effects were different enough to have very widely differing applications.
The next portion of the stump was meant to be diamond, a regular structure. It was, ironically, a very simple material to start with. Bast reached into the internal structure of the wood and plucked a few of its tethers to reality, rearranging and retying them in a vastly more regular pattern. Then, using a burst of Chakra, she straightened them out, unifying their properties. As soon as that was done, she pulled her presence out of the log's and found an enormous chunk of diamond at her feet. After making sure no one was around to steal it, she put the diamond in an opaque barrier and moved on to the next piece.

Post 6/8 for Climate Control Marble Post 0/8 for Bright Marble
The sun peeked over the tops of the surrounding buildings, bringing with it an unbearable heat. The woman had made sure to quench the flames powering the glass forge and bricked over its mouth in case the owner of the shop had a need for it later. As Bast tugged at the second set of strings in the log and struggled to turn it into Gelel, she realized there was a limit to how much she could alter the fundamental nature of these things. With a sigh, she brought her hands together to form the hand seals for the Wind Clone Technique, but nothing happened. She slapped herself and put a surge of Chakra into the technique, but all that came out were a couple of half-formed husks that fell apart as soon as they formed. Her next try was a bit more fruitful, but the clones turned out completely devoid of brain and understanding, so she popped them too. On her next try, she made two solid clones after exerting much more Chakra than she felt was necessary and sent one back to the docks to purchase some Orichalcum. The second one lingered for a moment, then took a few steps away from the main body, looking confusedly about. The woman was confused by its activities, since she had tried to order it to start the enchanting process.
"You have two shadows," it told her, pointing at the building behind her. Sure enough, she had two silhouettes in the light of the morning sun. "The second shouldn't be there. I can't find a source of light that would create it."
Bast was speechless. The first thought in her mind was that the second shadow was caused by an enemy, perhaps a Nara, but she couldn't feel anyone nearby who would have had that kind of power. Something inside her head was telling her the second shadow was just a trick of the light, but there was something odd, something strangely foreign about that voice. She lifted a hand and felt it move freely, confirming she wasn't under the influence of any Jutsu that would restrain her actions, at least as far as she knew.
"I feel fine, if that's what you're worried about," the woman protested to her clone, feeling deep down that the assumption was perhaps telling.
"But you aren't, though," the clone countered, taking a step back. "We've been fatigued and extremely withdrawn recently, and since when have we been able to sense Chakra? It's odd. These are not changes that just happen to someone who has lived and trained as long as we have. You have to be under the influence of some sort of Jutsu, or you're possessed by a ghost or some other creature."
"You know as well as I do that there's no Jutsu that would do that! Ninjutsu wouldn't affect my mental state, Genjutsu wouldn't produce something--like that shadow--that would be visible to someone else, and neither would any diseases or poisons that I know of! Are you suggesting something else is the cause? What else could there be?" The woman's ranting and raving caused a bit of a stir in the shop behind her, sending a prickly shock up her spine in fright.
"I don't know what, but you're being affected by something. Come with me, we need to get you somewhere where we can examine you away from people who might come to look. Let's get you away from here." The clone gestured in the direction of the docks, near the fields where she had toiled.
The main Bast opened her mouth to protest, but the door leading into the shop behind her opened and she recoiled harshly. The shopkeeper looked at her with an expression of pure surprise, then turned his gaze to the clone.
"My apologies, sir," the clone told him, mastering its own emotions with chains of iron, "but I had a bit of a Jutsu backfire and I'm not myself at the moment. Please give me a few minutes to sort myself out."
After an awkward few moments of silence, the man complied and returned to the shop, the door slamming shut behind him.
Masahiro would enter The Forge and begin looking through different wares and tools that he found to be rather useful. Meeting eyes with the man behind the count he smiled and took up a notepad and began to write down the items he wished to purchase, so as to keep easier track of them.
100R - 100x Wood Bundles 625R - 100x Iron Ore 400R - 200x Coal 'Ore' 250R - 50x Wax 50R - Plane 50R - Shaver 100R - 2x Rasps 125R - 5x Wrench Set 200R - 5x Chisels 200R - Varnish 1000R- 10x Screwdriver Set II 1000R- 3x Set of Saws 1000R- 3x Set of Files
"A relatively simple order. Knowing the stock you keep here and at the Docks, especially since Takumi purchases have been so limited lately." The Hokage spoke, before returning and speaking more about simple matters and general chatter while he waited for shop-hands to gather the supplies.
Then chiseling out minor details the two men would shake on the purchase and Masahiro removed a pouch containing 5,100Ryo, the fair market value of everything purchased, and set it before the man.
xxxxxNathaniel ran a quick hand through his hair as he entered the forge, immediately noticing it was empty. He continued to walk to the counter anyways. He blinked and suddenly the shop owner was in front of him, making Nathaniel blink a few more times before speaking his business. "My friend and I here," he gestured toward his partner Liori for a second, "W-were, uh, interested in a man, uh-" Nathaniel bit the side of his cheek, suddenly at a loss for words. His mind completely blanked and his cheeks caught fire. In that moment, he'd completely forgotten the mission objective, and he prayed Liori was smooth enough to pick up for him. He started coughing in an attempt to play off his misspeak, as if his throat was suddenly very dry.

Liori Q Mundo l Bakuton - Mouths Awakened l Kumogakure l Genin
Liori had been following behind her partner while he found his way to a forge, he seemed to have a pretty good sense of direction. Alone she probably would have been stuck wandering the town for days only to end up in the fishery. Nathaniel took lead when they entered the forge, starting to ask a question before he began to stumble over himself. She stepped forward and rested a hand on his shoulder. "What he means to say is, we have been looking for a man who had bought some tools from our caravan with counterfeit Ryo. And your business look like a good place to stop first, might you know where we could inquire further about this matter? Or perhaps you might have run into him before?" She said spinning a backstory for the pair, ending her explanation with a polite smile. 'Well I hope that was a good enough cover. Green better be able to pick up what I'm throwing down.' She thought to herself, squeezing his shoulder slightly. Chakra Pool: [505 //505] Stamina: [145 //145]

Yakou Kaza was working hard over his anvil, each strike upon the molten steel spraying sparks out over the warm ground. With the nearby forge infusing the air with noxious sounds, he did not hear the two enter or speak. Instead, a young boy no older than ten was at the counter, sitting upon a short stool and kicking his legs up and down behind the counter. Nathaniel wouldn't have seen him on his way around, so when the boy ran up to drag him away from the dangerous area, he'd surely be surprised. Yakou Kaza, however, continued to shape his latest creation, oblivious to the three people behind him. "Master says that's a bad place for customers," the young blonde's eyebrows furrowed. "Please be over on the safe side."
When a new girl showed up, she'd see the little one with his hand on Nathaniel's shirt, trying desperately to pull him back to safety. "Not another one," he exclaimed, trying to hold back his tears of frustration. Whether his reply to Liori indicated being on the wrong side of the counter, or to the question, the answer lay in both. "Ask the town hall. I don't remember what he looked like very well, but he was tall." Not very useful, to say the least, but unless the duo were going to overpower the youthful clerk and interrupt Kaza's project, this route would be slow going.
xxxxxNathaniel had been oblivious to the fact the shop owner couldn't hear him. The little boy pulled him away to a safer part of the shop, for which the genin was grateful. Liori came around and saved him from his stuttering hell, and the little boy responded well. Town hall would be their next destination, then. Nathaniel thanked the little boy before turning to his partner. "To Town Hall, then?" He rubbed the back of his neck and made towards the exit, whispering his gratitude for the save earlier. It could have been worse, but he felt ashamed about his first attempt at an important mission.

She had followed the little ones commands to move over to a safer part of the shop. She was a little disappointed the master was busy, he might have known more about their mark but she knew better than to interrupt someone with a scorching hot pair of tools. "Alright little one, we shall go there. My thanks for your help in this matter and for saving my clothing from any stay sparks." She said with a smile, bowing to the child before following after her partner. She tapped her chin while she was going over what information they had received in their dossier, she started to slowly realize she wasn't given any description on the person in question. At the vary least she learned he was tall, but tall to a child could be anything. It she nodded to Nathaniel's question. "Sounds good to me Green. But we might need to take a few minutes and get our story straight if you don't feel comfortable with out current cover." She whispered into his ear to make sure nobody else could hear in the event someone was listening in. Then she switched back into her usual determiner, slightly thuggish in her walk and spoke loud. "We need to find this guy Green, don't want to return to the boss empty handed." She said at a normal tone to continue the facade. She didn't like being in a village were she knew no one so she wanted to play as safe as possible.

Walking into the shop known as “The Forge”, Theodin looked around a smiled, so much stuff to help him get started on his path of crafting useful items. Walking through some of the aisles, he grabbed a few things for his glassblowing: a blowpipe, a mini set of tools, a leather apron with pockets so he could protect himself while working, and some leather gloves. Gathering all these things up, Theo walked up to the counter and chatted with the shopkeeper for a minute before finally paying for his things and leaving, returning to the gate and sending a mental signal ot his original that they should be getting back home.

Karleen slowly made her way in to the forge, yawning and stretching her arms. Her afternoon nap had been satisfying, but she had things to do now before setting off on her recent adventures. "Kaza-saaaaaaaaan, are you here?! I've come to uphold that promise I made, to apprentice under you? Helloooooooo?" The blonde haired female crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks; where could that big ol' guy be hiding, she thought. While she waited for Kaza to appear from the abyss, she looked through the variable marbles currently on display. They were always wonderful to look at, as most marbles were.
[ Quoting you both for NPC's, whoever wants to do it out of the two of you can. xD ]
- Black Lightning: Raiton techniques are black in color; slightly increasing their power, while reducing visibility
✿¦ Other Additives
- Samurai: You follow Bushidō, the "Way of the Warrior." Your serene mind allows you to detect genjutsu you are trapped within that are two or more ranks below your own status rank, and your tempered body allows you to wear thick armor that a ninja would otherwise be dragged to their knees by. Additionally, you start with the following four (4) techniques, rather than the six (6) most ninja do; Bushi Ken no Jutsu [ Samurai Sabre Technique, ] Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique, ] Kai [ Release, ] and Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Substitution Technique. ] - Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at gennin, C at chunnin, B at Jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below. - Bukijutsu Specialization: If this class is chosen as the first and second class, then the user starts with one [1] additional Bukijutsu slot. The User may also choose a secondary discipline upon specialization. Superior conditioning allows the user to choose a specific energy cost (stamina or chakra) and reduce the costs of technique activation by 5, to a minimum activation cost of 5. Every time the user ranks up, they repeat this process. Energy Cost Reductions must be shown on the profile -
An even larger yawn would be heard coming from from the loft atop the shop as Kaza made his way down the stairs and looked over to miss Karleen. His face was awash with a smile as he heard the young woman's promise of apprenticeship. He could finally get an additional hand around the shop, not that his assistant didn't help, but she just remained on counter duty lately.
"Karleen! So glad you finally accepted the offer and made good on your promise. There's a couple spare aprons and some gloves over on the hooks behind the counter, between the forges. You can help me out with preparation once you get suited up." The Smith said as he came down the last few stairs, having stopped a few steps up to grab his own apron and gloves from a rack above the stairwell.
"Light the open forge, not the closed one, and load some charcoal into it, could ya?"
