THE WAITING ROOM:All contestants, regardless of whether they're waiting to go on stage to took for the judges or are waiting the verdict from said judges can gather within the official Hades Kitchen Waiting Room. The room itself has an eclectic collection of chairs and couches for contestants to constantly fidget in. What the room does not have is a television or any sort of way to see what's currently going on in the tryouts, or a way to spy on the judges.
At least the show arranged for professional catering. And donuts.THE OOC:Please feel free to mingle and ORP your hearts out while the tryouts go down! Please note that you cannot see what's going on in the tryout thread.
If you currently AREN'T competing (you really should!), please come join in the orp! Blame the lack of security, you sneaky thing you. biggrin

Pelagion was a patient guy, honestly. He'd joined the tryouts on a whim, something to do, something new. He didn't care if he won or lost.
Though he had to admit that it would be awesome if he won.
The blue, fur-dressed reaper leaned against a wall and munched on one of the delicious thingies that had been provided for the people in the waiting room – his bound sword was stowed in a safe place, as per regulations and security or whatever – and he looked over the others. His competition.
Or whatever. He was just in this for fun.

With a heavy sigh of relief, letting out all the stress that he had apparently been holding since the presentation, the demon placed down his apron on the table as he took a seat. Running his hand through his hair, he rested his chin on his hands and looked around the room, noticing a few of the contestants already mingling here.
Wonder what they all made?...

Hanna turned from the table, a half eaten donut hanging from his mouth and another in his hand as he looked at the people in the room. He had honestly been more excited about the donuts than the people in the room, a rare thing for Hanna who loved to socialize, but now that he had gotten his hands on a couple of them he was more than ready to find someone to talk to.
Bouncing on his feet, he looked around and then decided to sit for once. He had been on his feet for awhile and although it didn't bother him too much, he should take a break. Finding a free seat near a demon, he sat down, turning to face him. "Hweoo!" He said, brightly around a mouthful of donut. He blinked in surprise, having forgotten about it in his mouth while deciding who to talk to. Don't talk wit' yer mouth full Hanna, He remembered, something Doc had told him a trillion times at dinner. A little pink, he swallowed, then tried again. "Oop. Haha, hello! I'm Hanna, who are you?"
PhiferWolf hope you don't mind the quote! or hanna haha

Uru, the surly, expressively thick eyebrows, and a penchant for scowls and glares, gave a sideways glance to the other boil as he sat himself upright and huffed. He was going to have to be social since this is kinda a social thing, and creeple talked when they were nervous about something. With a deep breath, he turned and raised a brow. "Uru." he replied drily. Okay, good start... good start. Giving a glance around the room, the hellhound turned himself entirely. "Donuts aren't exactly good for you, you realize that?" (nor were your manners...)

While the surly glance was something Hanna was used to (Doc was not the nicest looking person in the world), it did make him a tad nervous. He glanced down at the donut in his hand when mentioned, grinning sheepishly. "Aha, yeah. But I don't get them often! So it's a treat. He shifted in his seat to face Uru better, fidgeting a little. "So what do you think of the contest so far? I think it's cool, I've never really done anything like this before. Not one to compete much. But I do like cooking!

Rather than taking a seat, as the other contestants seemed so eater for, the sea serpent paced a wall. Tail trailing slightly behind him, he attempted to keep himself calm as he waited for the judgment to be posted. Nervous as he was, he had to just... wait. That was easier said than done, of course, but something he wasn't altogether unused to.
Occasionally casting a glance to the other contestants, he watched and listened. Perhaps someone had some inside information on something. Something that might be helpful somehow.

Upon entering the waiting room, Beats got the impression that he should be more nervous that he was feeling. The other contestants were an interesting bunch as he could ever hope to imagine, even if his imagination was currently operating on a very limited scope. But there was always something new to be learned every day, wasn't there? The pair of boots dangling from his neck bumped into his chest as he bobbed in the air towards nothing in particular.
Eventually he ended up in a pacing boil's the line of sight. In a dreamy voice, the ghost boil asks "Exciting, isn't it?"

Indu dropped down on a couch, her face resembling something painted by someone who was really, really angry. How could anyone say that to her on television! She had put everything into that presentation andhehadcalledherugly. She had been so nice, and so polite! The only reason she wasn't crying hysterically and keying his car to ribbons right now was because, despite whatever had been said, she had passed. Huffing to herself, she began, begrudgingly, to review everything she had said and done in her head. Trying to find out where the mistake had been, and how she could avoid it next time. She also glanced around at the other contestants, though her mind was mostly wrapped up in sorting out her failure. She was pretty sure they must have also had similar put-downs, irregardless of actual dish quality.

Aron glanced to the ghost in front of him. "Hm. Yeah, I guess." It was kinda exciting, sure, but mostly it was a lot of pressure. Lots of nerve-wracking, heart-pounding, pace-it-out pressure. He was more nervous than excited, and despite his best efforts to stay calm, he was starting to drip again. Huni Pi Sorry for the delay. >>; Hadn't realized I was quoted.

Beats smiled in response, whether he mistook the other boil's nervousness as giddy anticipation it wasn't obvious because he went on to say "Was the dished you served your signature dish?" It was less an angling for technique and more a genuine question, but this was a competition, wasn't it? Should anyone be so quick to honesty with their fellow contestants?

Scarlet patiently waited for who will be te winner. "Will she win?" she ask to herself. She was referring to the lady who served her during the contest. "She cooked it well." she added.
