Kiyelt lounged in a hammock beside his tent. This place was getting old fast. Maybe he would go back to Zena and visit then pop back down, maybe by then he would be brave enough to go into Oba, apparently there were tons of people there and that kinda scared him a bit. But the new beasts! All the new things were down there and now there was Matori too. He shivered with anticipation and Iniu growled at him. She was perched on his chest and Norcrest had curled up on his legs both were trying to sleep which was hard to do with how excited their masters current thoughts were making him.
He tickled Iniu under the chin thoughtfully. She turned her growl into a purrlike humming type thing, and he smiled. She was so easy to win over.

Ikkio was happy to be back in Jahuar. She had no idea, now, how she had survived the cold doldrum of Zena and the endless march of Sauti and the long flat plain of the Tale. How she had managed without her sister, however, she knew.
Amusing as Ikuri had been – and as upsetting as not having her twin around sort of was – Ikkio was beginning to realize that she didn't need the annoying girl after all. There was an Ikkio without Ikuri.
Though she genuinely regretted her sister's fate, in the end, things were fine. And, perhaps, for the better.
Her father was remaining in the Neued camp to assist with the final healing, and Ikkio was learning so very much from the patients there, though she had to be careful under her fathers eye and so couldn't do all the little experiments she wanted to do to them. Or, even, steal more than a few stray curiousities from their pockets.
Not that it mattered – the battlefield provided most anything she could want in terms of curiosities. That was not where she was headed today, however – today, the jungle was her destination. If she did the other two activities overmuch, she would be bored, and that would be a travesty, and so she was spicing her life with variety, and going out hunting with her trusty Radaku, Zumurundi, at her side. Zumurundi loped beside Ikkio, seeking prey in the tangled wilds. This, at least, was fun, unlike some of his mistress's other games. His horns glowed in the eternal dusk of Jahuar as he scanned the undergrowth near the camp.
Nothing... but...
He perked up, looking in the direction of a faint humming sound. There. That was something.
He began to trot off towards it...Oh?” Ikkio smiled, following him. She couldn't hear what he heard, but she was sure it would be interesting... very interesting.Zumurundi barked as he came upon the hammock and the tent, tilting his head at the strange beasts he saw with an earthling. They were not of Jahuar. And they were of a human, and thus not prey. He slumped, disappointed, and wagged his tail in greeting as his mistress, behind him, began to catch up...

Kiyelt froze as a radaku bounded out of the bush, was he slated to be eaten this day? He stared at it as it sat and wagged its tail. Was that normal? He glanced at Iniu, she chirped and tilted her head.
A girl came up behind the radaku, ahh that explained it. "Lovely friend you have there he said cheerfully. Were you here for the battle? I think I would have noticed a radaku with such a striking color." He said. "My name is Kiyelt." He said and got up to greet her properly, staying back from the radaku. "Beast Charmer."
Iniu and Norcrest instead of greeting her like usual simply sat and stared like they sensed a fellow predator. Kiyelt reasoned that they hadn't seen a radaku this close up before, that would explain the odd behaviour they had not problem crawling over Mella or Yelena.
