Nothing says “party” like a dance contest! To celebrate Alternia’s great successes (and to take a load off of the many citizens inhabiting the planet), the Queen is sponsoring a lively party for trolls of all castes. The event is a veritable block party taking advantage of The-City-Formerly-Known-As-Old-Hemisect-City’s brand new streets! Plentiful food, drink, and the most killer dance floor known to troll-kind has been established in what will be the new location for future Bloodfests and other celebrations of Alternian diversity. So, party hard! The trolls with the best dance moves at the end of the night will be sponsored by an up-and-coming fashion brand sweeping the globe. This is a dice game in which two trolls duke it out in the form of sweet dance moves. Trolls wishing to enter must pair up with a partner for this event! Please sign up using the code below and post in the thread. Registration is now closed! Only users who currently own shop trolls may participate in this event, and they may only enter 1 troll. [b]Partners[/b]: Your troll’s names here. How to Play: Each day, both partners will roll a D6. The result of the roll will determine the amount of points that they receive, with extra bonuses given if certain instances are met. At the end of the event, the team with the most points wins! Please keep track of your team’s point total in your posts – your total should be the sum of both partner’s daily rolls and bonuses. Both partners are not required to post on a given day. Trolls also have the option of posting flavor text (minimum of three sentences) with their roll! If both partners post flavor text in each roll and reach minimum word count for growth, they can count this event as a RP point going towards their growth! Point Bonuses: If both partners post flavor text: +3 points! If both partners roll the same number: +3 points! If both partners roll evens, or if both partners roll odds: +1 point! Example: Troll A and Troll B are dance partners. Troll A rolls a 3, and Troll B rolls a 2. They have accumulated 5 points between them. The next day, Troll A and Troll B roll a 4 and a 2. They add 5 (yesterday’s point total) + 6 (today’s point total) + 1 (both numbers were even!), for a new group total of 12 points! The day after, Troll A and Troll B both roll 3's. They add 12 (yesterday's total) + 6 (today's total) + 1 (both numbers were odd!) + 3 (both numbers were the same!), for a new group total of 22!

Dictys had to admit - dragging eir lowblooded...erm, associate out here was in part to see the guy squirm. It was also in part to show off, of course, as everything Dictys did was. Because, well, Dictys Glauci? Affected by the events earlier in the sweep? Pfft. Who could ever think that? Ey started off with, ey thought, some swimmingly smooth moves.

Skae was close to chewing his lower lip bloody as he waited for a potential partner to arrive. Taldad had promised to take care of the minor details for this celebration. (He didn't trust Skae to do it, for....obvious reasons) Now the rustblood was standing there looking quite silly as the start of the contest was announced. He sort of, bounced on his heels as he waited, eyes darting over every newly arrived troll.
Then Taldad popped up on the sidelines and bobbed his head and Skae felt so much better. There was one troll whom he felt that Skae wouldn't offend get along with. So with that he continued his awkward looking heel-bounce dance as he shuffled off towards where Taldad indicated the other troll was.

Nervit took a deep breath as she entered the room, Pyredad safely curled around one antler-like horn, following another lusus who Pyredad had assured her would have a troll for her to dance with. As she entered the dancefloor she tried a graceful spin and continue on, but instead she ended up tripping over her large boots and almost face-planting onto the floor. Thankfully she managed to catch herself, and cheeks flushing bright brown she scurried over to her partner, who she'd never met before - but Pyredad had assured her, so it would be fine.
And it was fine! Nervit smiled easily at Skaeys, reassured by their similair blood colours and choice of boots, even for a formal occasion. Gracefully this time she curtsied, then held out a hand for Skaeys to take whilst whispering a quiet greeting.
"I'm Nervit - nice to finally meet you!"
Then with that she led him onto the main floor – hopefully to remedy her unsightful slip as she entered. At least she looked good. Once again Nervit was wearing her party outfit, though she’d had to let out the hem a little from the last time she’d worn it – a soft black velvet dress with her symbol carefully embroidered on, tattered at the ends but artfully, layered over stockings in her blood colour. Long hair was tied back into ponytails, the pulling back showing off her antler-like horns. Her face was still covered by a thick fringe though – Nervit wasn’t confident enough even at a party to relinquish that ‘guard’ so to speak.

Troll: Keionx Rutace Partner: Vremea Everai Was dancing a knightly occupation? Keionx, herself, wasn't so sure, but Beastdad had come all the way from Busthind to find her on her walkabout, bringing with him some special party clothing he'd picked up just for her, and he thought it was. Keionx had never argued with her Lusus's definition of knightly heroics. She was dressed up in something resembling shining armor. It was really just costume 'armor', made of carapace, glue, and silver paint (and it was slightly uncomfortable), but it probably also had cost beastdad a lot of beetles. He had even, with a very careful hand, drawn on her symbol.
It was not what Keionx would have liked to be wearing, let alone to this, but with her Lusus cooing appreciatively from the crowd, she knew she had to endure it. As the dance party began and she, among other young trolls, was brought forward into the action, she suddenly realized that she had nobody to dance with: not Zariah, or... she searched the crowd... Ephias. Or even Etsali, that dirty thief. Keionx would have danced with her to just to make sure the orangeblood didn't steal anything.
But none of them were there, and for a moment, Keionx felt suddenly, incredibly unsure. And then, miraculously, among all the strangers, Keionx saw someone she knew – an older troll standing alone, seemingly looking for someone.
Beastdad noticed too. He called to her to go to the other troll, and make it impressive! He was watching and he was so proud of his baby.
Keionx knew she had to look good for her Lusus, so - treating as the dance floor was a battlefield (which, with trolls, it could well be) - she moved gracefully and purposefully through the crowd, twirling as she came to a halt in front of Vremea, bowing, her hand (gloved in orange - another purchase of beastdad's) held out politely to Vremea.
"Hail, fair librarian!" she announced, "Would you like to dance?" Current point total: 5

To be honest, Vremea wasn't really searching for someone... more like, um, trying to find anyone to join her. After hearing about the fashion big-wig that was announced to come to the party, Vremea finally shirked out of her her home for the first time in ages for something other than work. She was bright eyed and excited, with eyes showing more emotion than they usually did, carefully fixed up with the mascara she always applied but with a bit of a pop to it. She had drawn a few yellow lines stretching from her eye around her face, and wore her favorite dress, tugging slightly at the corset on her bust. She had done herself extra fancy for this occasion-- after all, the opportunity to meet with the most popular, recognized fashionistas of this reign? Vremea would rather be culled than miss this party.
Only she hadn't... really... planned not bringing a partner. Watching the others twirl around on the dance floor, both teens and kids alike, Vremea couldn't help but feel a little... lonely. It was unintentional, of course, no ones fault, really. But she still felt it... The crushing disappointment of not having a dance partner. She almost started busting some moves right then and there, alone, until she was approached by... a young female? Was this... Oh my. "Keionx?" Vremea gasped-- The last time she saw the young troll was ages ago, during... during... the most recent Bloodfest? She thought. Maybe a little earlier. Vremea's thought process wasn't exactly the clearest right now.
"Keionx, it is you!" She said happily, thankful to have someone she knew in this mess... She hadn't ignored her invitation to dance, however, and slid her hand into Kei's-- it was rude to keep a knight waiting. A little clumsily, Vremea managed to get her bearings after a little bit of dancing, considering Keionx was a kid. She wasn't doing amazing, but she was doing perfectly fine. "I apologize in advance, should I step on any of your toes," Vremea mentioned, referring to her slightly taller heels when compared to Keionx's armor.

[ The longer Rasali danced, the less she remembered why exactly she'd accepted Aandes' proposal request challenge. Exercise was supposed to be good for the thinkpan, right? Then why was Rasali only capable of focusing on Aandes' smug face.
Old Hemisect was nothing but bitter memories and shame to Rasali. While one more failure on this beach would hardly be noteworthy, she wasn't about to go down again without a fight. ]
