[ ROUND 1 ] Decked out with his winter gear under his Trainee Jacket, Jeremy stepped out onto the training field, taking a wide-eyed look around at the frozen wasteland.
"WHOA, OTTO, THIS LOOKS AWESOME!" He yelled as if the other man could hear him with his hands cupped around his mouth. Soon his hands fell, rubbing against each other for warmth, and a wide grin split on his lips as he searched for the first thing to-do.
Honestly, he was just here for the fishing. Which he was super good at, by the way!
But as he carried his fish to a space to make some fire to cook it, he not only failed, but he failed pretty badly. His attempts at friction fire only ended with slightly singed gloves, a cut on his face from when a stick flew at him, and an empty stomach.
THAT'S FINE he didn't need to eat anyway!

[ ROUND 2 ] Jeremy, who was not at all upset about not being able to eat his fish, decided to carry it with him in case he came across a fire later. Because that was the sort of thing that made sense to him.
So, with a flapping fish held against his chest, he started across the icy bridge.
Okay, so apparently walking an icy tight rope while holding a fish was not the best of ideas, but damnit he was going to do it anyway!
The first leg had him slipping (which, coincidentally, made his leg a little sore), the middle was just fine as he got the hang of it, but near the end, right when he was getting cocky about seeing the end in sight, he slipped again. He managed to keep a hold of his fish, but his boot ended up with a hole in the bottom, which was probably going to be a very bad thing later.

[ Arorangi - Round 1 ]
He was not used to the cold (that was an understatement), but Arorangi had decided to try and course anyway, because if nothing else, it would help to build up his endurance and his strength. So, bundled up in a variety of scarves and mismatched coats, Arorangi trudged onto the course, looking pink cheeked but otherwise pretty cheerful.
His first attempt at fishing did not go well - and for a Maori who had spent the majority of the first fifteen years of his life spearfishing in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of New Zealand this was very, very sad. And kind of pathetic.

( Zascha - Round 1)
Ahhhh, this was so much more like it. This was Zascha's element. Outdoors, in the snow. He barely felt the chill in the air. It was like saying hello to a dear old friend. Clad in heavy boots, a thick coat, fingerless gloves and of course his trainee coat and scarf the Moon Hunter made her way into the course.
It didn't take him long to get started. Although he was better at trapping animals than fishing. That fact really showed as his make shift rod didn't catch him even a minnow. The bate probably wasn't right for the type of fish here anyway.
So he moved to making a fire. Simple enough right? Wrong. He couldn't get anything to catch to save his life. Which it very well may depend on it. At least there weren't any bears.

[ JEREMY - ROUND 3 ] Next, apparently, was rock climbing. The Trainee stared up at it dumbly, and then down at the fish in his hands, which was pretty much dead by now. He repeated this a few times before he gave a very heavy long-suffering sigh.
"Okay. Time to buckle in, baby!" He announced to the dead fish, as he closed his jacket belt around it to secure it against his stomach.
Taking a deep breath (that smelled oddly of fish, imagine that), Jeremy found his first foot hold and started to climb. He didn't bother looking down, so that certainly helped as the first of the boulders started careening down at him. The first was dodged, sailing past him as he became one with the wall.
"HAH - OOF!" His victory was short lived, as a second boulder hit him square in the face. He managed to hold on, and keep climbing, causing him to scamper around another falling boulder, and another, until he was at the top, standing in victory with a less-than-desirable fish hanging from his jacket belt.
"TAKE THAT, COURSE!" He flipped off the course as a whole, both middle fingers dancing in the air, before he saluted it and marched away to find a spot to actually cook and eat his prized fish.

( Zascha - Round 2)
Now the next part gave him a bit of pause to be certain. An icy rope to get across. It brought back horrible memories of that one rope bridge that he had constantly fallen off of....
Furrowing his eyebrows, he wrapped his red scarf around the lower half of his face and marched straight for the rope. Setting a careful foot on it at first, confidence flowed through him as he quickly made his way across. Although at the last second he slipped slightly. A wooden spike slicing through his pant leg and giving him a pretty good scratch on his shin.
But at least he had made it across.

( Zascha - Round 3)
What was it and all the cliff climbing he was having to do lately? It felt like a never ending cycle of cliffs.
He had managed to shimmy his way up about half way when the sound of movement caught his attention. Lumbering out of a nearby cave came a large, brown colored head with beady little black eyes. Ah s**t! Bear, bear, bear! Zascha knew better than to ******** with those so he shimmied himself as far away from it as possible.
Luckily for him he had also shimmied out of the way of a falling snow boulder. But that didn't save him from the hand full of spiders he soon found himself with as his hand hold gave way to a small cave full of them. Not that he was afraid of them spiders were just ******** gross. But he was pretty much over this cliff climb and finally reached the top where he sat, flicking any stray spiders off the sleeve of his jacket.

[ Arorangi - Round 2 ]
After the first disastrous round of fishing and fire (neither of which had been very successful), Arorangi moved on to the tight rope...which, considering his stature, did not seem very safe, nor very...pleasant...but regardless, it was part of the course, and he was going to do his best. Arorangi squared his shoulders, took a breath, and reminded himself that doing this was going to be a good thing.
It was not a total disaster, but Arorangi was starting to suspect that the course was not meant for him....

[ Arorangi - Round 3 ]
Clearly Arorangi was not meant for such a coarse. The rock climbing was next, and he blew onto his freezing hands, rubbing them together as he stared up at the cliff in front of him. It couldn't be that hard right? He would climb down without too much effort - he was strong, after all, and he had a good grip - and that would be that.
Or maybe not.
Needless to say, by the time the course was finished, a very bruised ad battered but still somewhat cheerful Arorangi had decided that he much preferred beaches and warm sands and the ocean to the blistering cold of the caves and the ice.
