❝ Today was the day, it was time for the South Village Community Garage Sale and everyone would be there. All the South Village residents had been preparing for days, many had cleared out there closets, gathered flowers, bugs and fruits to put a few extra bells in there pockets. Mallo had baked her heart out and the fruits of her labor were displayed upon the table before her. As she looked around she could still see that hardworking Rabbit setting up tables and animals making there way over. She was probably a bit to early but a good baker was up before the sun! Mallo snuck a S'mores Cookie from her table and quickly shoved it in her mouth, hoping no one would notice her stealing her own wares. Of course, if they didn't notice her swiping it then they would have noticed the look of delight on her face, what a delicious treat, she was sure to sell out today!
Harvey passed her by again, struggling to carry a table on his own, that silly bunny. She dashed over to his side, picking up the unsupported side with ease and they two were off, working like a well oiled machine without a word between the two. It was just how things were around here and she loved every second of it. It had to end and with the last table the two split ways but Mallo wasn't ready to stop helping out but no one was at her table yet. Maybe she could help out another rabbit... or any animal!
As she gave a look around she spotted the Mayor across the way... Oh, how could she have forgotten! The Mayor was collecting item donations then selling the goods for bells which would all go towards the improvement of both the village and the town! It was such an amazing idea that had lead Mallo to decide that she would have only her baking on her table this year. Of course, not everyone could do that but she was sure there would be tons of donations in whatever someone could. Mallo dashed back to her table and grabbed a box from under it, it only had a few items, one being this cute hairband slash bow but it was all she could offer... Maybe if she sold enough treats today she would enter the raffle, too! "Morning Mayor! I have some stuff for you!!" She cheered as she skipped over to the blank slate just waiting for goods. ❞
