Glitnir liked to cut through the parks on his patrols; they were open enough for him to maneuver if he ran into any youma, and since people had a tendency to gather in parks, he could count on meeting someone interesting there if his people-meeting luck was good. As he cut through a certain park today, a peculiar feeling overcame him. It was very, very strange, unlike anything he had ever felt before... except it wasn't. He had felt this before, if only briefly. He knew who exuded this kind of aura. "Zia? Is that you?" He called out, advancing on where he thought the aura was coming from. He was pretty sure that this had to be from her.

"Well it's not the queen of England," Was the sarcastic response back, and soon enough, she languidly skulked off her perch to close some distance between them.
"In powered form, I'd appreciate being called Zirconia," She said with a weird smile as she looked to the side. "Sometimes you never know who's listening."
She rolled her shoulders and bounced on her heels before the page. "What can I do for you tonight?"

Glitnir took Zirconia's sarcasm as a "well, who else could it be?", and it made him smile a bit. Of course, it promptly faded when he realized he had accidentally botched the code name "process." "Right, right. Sorry, Zirconia," he said back, nervously running one hand through his hair. That was a close call. Civilian identities had to be protected. "Well, there's nothing you can do for me tonight, really. I just felt you in the area and thought I'd stop by and say hello. What are you doing out here?" It was kind of odd, describing someone in terms of sensing them rather than seeing or hearing them.

She closed the distance and invaded his personal space by patting his hair back in 'place' after he ran his fingers through it, as if he'd somehow messed up his hair and there was a proper way for it to be.
She didn't appear to be in good shape, with dark circles of fatigue under her eyes and healing bruises on her cheek and arms where she had been grabbed in a previous altercation. She was weak, tired, and a little battered, but still all too willing to put on a smiling face and come out to greet whoever she could find tonight.
"I'm actually out here looking for something," She said heaving her shoulders with a weighted sigh and a forced laugh.
"I'm... I found the Black Moon queen's final mirror, and I've made contact with the parallel earth. I think I'm on the verge of sending this extra starseed, the real Zirconia, home. I just need to find something first."
She summoned the small, velvet box from subspace and opened it up to show him the shards of golden crystal.
"The Pyrite Crystal, the royal symbol of earth's power and parallel twin to this Earth's Golden Crystal. I'm looking for the rest of the pieces."

Zirconia's messing with Glitnir's hair made him chuckle; hadn't she done that when they first met? He noticed that she didn't appear to be in top form, however, and that worried him. After listening to her explanation, he said, "I don't really understand all the stuff about the parallel universes, but would you like some help finding the pieces of that crystal? You look like you could use some help. You look beat. Literally. Did something attack you?" The wording was a bit blunt, but his tone reflected his concern. Whatever was going on had taken a lot out of her.

"Ah... um," She powered down. Being a civilian cut off the dangerous energy leak that attracted her conversation partners, and also brought a warm sweater that both shielded her from the cold and covered the bruises on her arms.
She hugged the thick, soft cloth tight around her and grinned up at him sheepishly. "It's been kind of a rough road, yeah."
Her knuckles were still bruised and ugly from hitting back. "Apparently I'm stupid enough I'll even throw down with a princess if she come after me. But it's okay, I hear I'm pretty hardheadded," She said with a lame attempt at a laugh that didn't sound entirely genuine.
She shifted her weight to one hip and gave a tired shrug. "I'm hosting an extra starseed, which is where I get my powers from. And if I collect all the pieces, she can go home to her real body, and I can be human and whole again. It's what I've been working for since... Well since I was awakened in the first place..." She swallowed. "I would be eternally grateful for whatever help you have to offer."

"A princess beat you up? Yikes. What did you do to deserve that? Not saying you deserved it, just wondering." Glitnir did remember Kairatos's description of Princess Iris as "rude and punchy," so he offered his guess. "Would it be Princess Iris? It's just a guess. I've never actually met her. Just gotten a description of her from someone, and from that it sounds like something she'd do." The stuff about hosting a second starseed was a bit more understandable, and since she wanted his help, he was going to give it. "Alright, then! How should I start looking for pieces? Did the crystal break in a particular place, or does something specific cause pieces to appear, or...?"
