& Tafiir paced the camp muttering to himself about a sword and a kid... The war was over and Tafiir was running out of options to get home, but the sword... and that kid. Grumbling to himself he stormed into a supply tent where he had met the kid once before. Of course the tent had been mostly evacuated, but he began rummaging through what was left in hope of finding some sort of rations to stop his stomach from eating itself. "Grr, cursed stuff in this stupid box in this stupid tent in this unbearably hot place..." He growled to himself as he wiped the sweat dripping from his face as he foraged.
It seemed no matter how much he wiped away the sweat, how much he sat in the shade, how much he tried to remain still in the heat of the day the disgusting sticky mess of an atmosphere just clung to him... making life all that more difficult; all that more impossible. Pushing himself away from the box he began rubbing his neck, arms, armpits, scratching and tearing at his chest, back, then just flailing and punching at the air around him as though combating an unknown or unseen assailant. Finally out of energy he fell to the earth in a heap and shouted, "I HATE THIS PLACE! I HATE EVERYTHING IN IT!" Duke Edward Drake XD It seemed as good a way to start an rp we have no idea where its going... If you get stuck I would start with laughing at him throwing a tantrum and asking what his problem is XP Goofy little Tafiir

Sezarra was marching around the camp that she finally got to explore, cause Daddy wanted to check it out too, since technically all was peaceful he finally gave in to her incessant pestering as long as Thorvin stayed relatively close. Seze had seen her radaku stuff his face into what she assumed was an old food heap so he was close enough by her reckoning, he deserved to find his own treasures down here too since he was on Seze sitting duty. She giggled at that thought and as she passed a tent further ahead she heard abominably loud screaming coming from a tent...even her brother wasn't that loud what could possibly be wrong? Concerned she grabbed a tent peg as a potential weapon and wrestled the string off.. with her tiny wooden defensive weapon she stuck her head into the tent to get a good look at what was inside.
She had looked in just in time to catch Taffir attempting to shed his skin..funny she didn't think icelings shed their skin like lizards. Then she noticed that this was another youngling that was not a part of her family how crazy! She nearly squawked out loud as Thorvin liked her hands for any crumbs she might have left from the loaf of bread her father had given her to munch on, she knew he knew perfectly well that half was still in her pocket, clever thing. She had also seen him stuff his face quite contentedly with leftovers so she wasn't concerned he was starving. She knew she was moments from being discovered anyway so she might as well announce herself before she looked like an unaware pansy. But what to say?
"Er.. do you need some cream for that? Did you sit in a pile of the scratchy grass? I swear it waits in hiding for people. My Dad sat in some one time, he scratched for two days." She didn't add that it had been very funny to watch her manly father try to crawl out of his own skin, it had even kept them up at night until his own radaku growled at him.
Thorvin nudged her presumably because he wanted to get a look too and she stumbled forward into the tent and complained at him. He stayed quiet and watched, evidently in a better mood then the iceling due to his full belly, which bulged out from his sides.

"Gah!~ Cream won't help!" Tafiir hollered, "I need to get out of this damnable place!" whirling around in the dust, he settled only to find that the filth he has gathered on his skin.... made the horrendous itching subside. "Huh..." He muttered as the dust settled around him and he glanced over to find a youngling, much like himself, but darker, and female.
Scrambling to his feet, Tafiir stared down the Shifter girl and her four legged companion with great suspicion, "Scratchy grass, huh?" he twitched his nose at the thought, "Never heard of it... But then again we don't get much grass where I'm from." he looked the creature over at her side and backed away, "What is that... thing behind you just there?" it stood almost taller than her, had jagged teeth and claws longer than his pinky finger... He didn't trust it. That doesn't even take into consideration its lack of notable ears, piercing eyes and reptile like tail... The thing was homey at best.

Sezarra watched his antics, slowly one eye began to twitch a little. He certainly was dramatic...then again, she had never sat in the itchy grass so maybe she just couldn't understand it quite yet. Then she noticed how his nose was twitching.. like an animal and tried her best to stifle a smile. "We didn't in Jahaur either I think its distinctly a Tale thing."
Sezarra looked over her own shoulder, Thorvin was panting, his tongue lolling...which was unfortunate he had so many teeth...and there was something stuck between them. "This is Thorvin my radaku," she said as she pushed his face closer to her so she could pick at the thing between his teeth. Thorvin ran his tongue in and out getting it in her way but he let her pester him. "I found him and his friend had also escaped from Jahaur presumably to avoid the Obans. Have you seen one yet? An Oban? Dad says they look like us but darker reddish...I'm not sure I believe him. Do they have big teeth? Tails?" She shuddered from glee at gossip and apprehension over the image of an army of scary Obans in her mind.

Tafiir stared down the creature and shrugged, "Never seen one of those before; never heard of 'em either." keeping his distance he continued, "I dunn think they look like that... Pa said they look like us, but they got some weird beasts that they brought to the fight."
He shrugged, "S'pose he didn't say how much they look like us." he had changed his opinion to support her imaginative version... It would be more interesting to think about them like that. "S'pose they could have horns and spikes on their body too..." A grin spread across his face as he imagined them. "creepy ugly spiky lizard people with big teeth..."

"They belong deep in the Jahauran jungle, but this one and a friend were ousted by the battle with Oba, they found our camp and I found them." She grinned. "Daddy was not so impressed but he warmed up when they did not eat him. I knew he would." She nodded. "My brother mentioned weird beasts did your father describe them at all?'
Sezarra made a funny face. "I bet they move like this too!" She spread her legs and walked stifly around swinging her body in an odd way. "I wonder what they eat with those big teeth, maybe naughty bugs that get in their way. And and they crawl out of holes in the ground at night to roam!" She said getting into the swing of things with his support. "Can they talk?" She asked in a focused voice, hanging on his answer, with large round eyes.

"Of course they talk!~ How else will they beg for their lives when we best them?" Tafiir boasted, "My father was one of the greatest warriors in all of Tendaji and these massive beasts they brought to the battlefield tipped the scale." Tafiir's posture dropped as he murmured, "My father never returned from the first battle... Nakir said they were like mobile mountains who shook the earth with each step... they were almost impossible to defeat..."
Stepping away from Sezarra and her companion he found a crate to perch on. "I don't wanna talk about this anymore. Lets do something else."

Seze deflated somewhat too, she couldn't imagine any one of her family not coming back from the war, her mother had taken that risk, without father there to help her as he had stayed behind to look after her. "I'm sorry." She said somewhat subdued.
Then her mind latched onto the change in subject. "Oh? What do you think would be fun? Pranks, stalking, familiar hunting?" She tipped her head to the side. She liked all of those ideas, maybe he would go for one oooor maybe he had an even better idea of fun things!
Thorvin snorted as he nosed about the dust in the tent and she poked him for interupting. He grunted at her and poked back with a paw sending her into the dust. Soon she pounced him and he gave up. There. "Sorry about that, he needs to learn he is to big to play rough without consequences or I will not brush him like he likes."
"Now back to ideas?"(sorry it took so long!!!)

"Hmmmm," Pondered the lad while he scanned their surroundings. "Not much to do in the tent here... We'll have to go explore." With a snap of his fingers he came up with something, "I came here with a little scraggly moracker. Little bugger never lets me keep hold of him for long, but is constantly following me. Named him Mister Tweed, and he would blend in perfectly with the earth..." He kicked a rock and watched it tumble about the tent, "If anything it will get us out and exploring... If we find something else to do before we find Tweed we can do that instead."Duke Edward Drake Been wrestling with RL stresses, sickness and all that jazz -jazz hands- Sorry it took so long, and I'm working on getting back into the swing of things ~XP

akuma_kessaku No problem! Kiyelt is looking forward to the return of Gaddock XD "Ah if we are going to find a moracker, just give me a second." This sounded fun! But she would have to take some precaution.. "Thorvin," she said and wrapped her hands as far around his giant mouth as she could "No eat." She said calmly, she hoped it would work, it would not do for her radaku to eat poor Mr. Tweed. "There, we may go and search now, I don't think I have ever seen a moracker, I am most looking forward to it." She smiled, keeping a hand on her beastie as she walked out of the tent. "Where would you like to start looking? Does he have any particular favorite type of places?"
