Sueno was currently wrapped up in a thick woolen jacket staring over the choppy waves as she left behind her homeland. The response from the Orderite woman Kadryn had come in; she agreed to letting Sueno come and stay at her place as well as accompanying Sueno on her attempts to capture animals. Sueno was excited as well as worried; she was going to get help! She didn’t have to worry about being eaten by wild animals… but she was having to leave home, leave the land she’d worked on and loved her entire life to go to a strange wilderness across the ocean. But her brother was bravely working at getting himself back on his feet and used to his arm so she could be brave and venture out! After bidding goodbye to her family and friends she’d left on a wagon taking goods to the towns on Ayr.
She sighed and scrubbed a hand across her face to wipe off the spray from the ocean that threatened to freeze on her face. She was excited true, but the rocking of the ship made her stomach upset and she was just now finding her sea legs. It made her really regret leaving during autumn as winter was hitting the sea and lands. She was quite relieved with the fog; difficult as it was to see right now, it meant they were close to docking and she could finally stand on something that didn’t move! She pulled out the letter again to reread the instructions on where to met Kadryn. Luckily she wasn’t going to have to find her way through the wilderness to the other woman’s house; Kadryn had promised to check in once every few days at the local inn for Sueno. I hope she’s in right now, Sueno thought, I’d like to meet her and staying alone in a port town is not safe! Traveling alone here was also not safe, but she saw that a lot of younger and older warriors were on board with her so she figured she was semi safe. The sailors had been respectful and kind enough to her, but she had heard stories….
A call came from above as the lookout spotted the lighthouse and they prepared to hit land. Sueno chewed her lower lip nervously; the loss of a safety net, of knowing the land about her made her feel like this was a very bad idea. But she was going to do it! She had to, if she gave up now she’d never find the courage to go forward again, she was certain of it.
She walked off the ship with a lot of misgivings and headed through the fog into town. Now to just find this inn…

Kadryn was checking in on the inn and chatting with the owner to pass the time. Kirosh was off hunting some weird random rumor with a few other Tribe members, which left Kadryn with a lot of free time on her hands. She was thinking of just staying in town for a week instead of going back and forth from home to here. Save Leirs the wear and tear and enjoy not cooking for herself for a week. The door opened and let in a few wisps of fog and a young Orderite woman, obviously nervous and looking a little lost. Pale skin and cream-colored hair with light blue eyes, she matched the description of the girl that Kadrynw as waiting for.
“Sueno?” She asked as the girl looked around and pulled back her hood.
She started a little and looked over at Kadryn who smiled and beckoned her over. “Lucky me to be here when you arrive.” She said with a grin.

Sueno started as someone called her name. She looked over to see a small blue woman clothed in leathers with a welcoming smile beckoning to her.
“Kadryn?” She asked and was relived to get a nod. “Ah wasn’t sure ye’d be here… or how long Ah’d have to wait.” She said as she walked over to sit next to the older woman.

Giving the girl a smile and ordering a hot cider for both of them, Kadryn waved aside her comment. “Wouldn’t have been too long! The ships hit at regular intervals usually so I’ve been in on the days they hit. You want to stay the night here and head out in the morning, or rid through the night to get to my home?”
That was question wasn’t it? Kadryn was fine either way; she knew Leirs was happily burrowed into the rocks to sleep the cold day and night through so he’d be fine. She was fine and willing to leave now, but didn’t want to rush the girl if she was tired. “We’ll stay for dinner at the very least.”

Sueno sighed a little. She was tired! But at least they had an option of staying here! She thanked Kadryn for the cider and drank gratefully. It was much colder here than back home! “Iffn ye don’t mind staying the night… Ah’m a bit tired an not too sure Ah could sleep on a mount. Plus mah Gazini’s tired too. Oh, he’s mah Hastar. Ah did write that Ah was bringing him.” She hoped it was fine, she hadn’t waited to receive another letter after writing that she was coming since she wanted to be here before the storms hit.

“No problem at all! We’ve got a barn that’s got three stalls for our own Hastars and Leirs. My husbands out with both right now so your’s has the stalls to himself. Will he be fine with Leirs, my borgnah?” Kadryn asked as she got the dinner for both of them as well. Girl looked too young to have a lot of money on her and Kadryn had plenty to spare from all her hunting days.
“Leirs is fine with Hastars but he can sleep underground if Gazini can’t deal with him.”

“Mmm.. Ah’m not sure honestly. We’ll see when they meet. Oh, Ah can pay fer mah meals!” She said when Kadryn ordered dinner. “Ah didna see any borgnah’s in the stables to the inn… is he there?” Kadryn had mentioned sleeping underground.. Well they do live in tunnels and attack from there so it makes sense. But isn’t that cold?

Kadryn chuckled. “Leris isn’t allowed in town most of the time. He tends to scare children and animals! I left him to go wander outside of town and find a comfortable place to spend the night.” And hope he doesn’t prank anyone! That was always the problem with leaving him outside of town.. he did so love scaring people!
“You’ll need that money to purchase other types of supplies,” Kadryn said with a grin as she accepted her platter with a thanks to the owner. “So don’t worry about me buying meals.” She dug in and smiled. It was good.. just not as good as her own! But it was always nice not having to cook, Peralian sometimes cooked but he always experimented so the results were.. suspicious.
“Do you have any plans on where to start or are you winging this?” She asked after a while.

“Oh..thank ye then.” Sueno graciously accepted the charity and smiled at why Leris wasn’t in town. It did make sense! She would need to buy some gear after she saw what she was up against... and after talking with some other hunters.
"Um... Ah'm kinda winging it really. Ah've got this idea of what tah do.. but since AH've not tamed more than Hastars and birds going after Rajsha's is a bit of a change up." She had been thinking of going after something else... but she knew that the Rajsha was one of the animals that she could train as a mount or guard. And that was what would seek the most and be what she really wanted; a guard to aid her brother (and others of course) on their hunts!
"Ah've talked with lots of farmers, and would like tah talk with ye about them. And some other hunters iffy ye don't mind. Ah need to know more about the animals before Ah can even think about trying to capture one!"

Kadryn chuckled; rajsha's! Just what she was actually wanting for her boys!
"Don't worry! And it does sound like you've thought this through. We'll drop by my house and get your stuff all set up in the guest room and go over equipment before heading to the Camp and talking with some other hunters." She finished her dinner and leaned back in her chair.
"Rajsha's are something my husbands been wanting for some time! So we'll probably be joined by him once he gets back. I was going to try and capture one for my son before he leaves to go adventuring so this will be very useful to me." I'll talk with her about my husband and see how she deals with Oblivionites and Hybrids.. from her letters I think she won't mind, hopefully! Kadryn had asked how she felt about them since there were some in the tribe.. she hadn't said anything about being married to one!
"I've also got some items that will be of use. Recipes for food that can help in capturing and taming. I'll give you some before we go hunting. I know one works, not sure about the other though since I haven't tried it yet!"

Sueno was relieved that the other didn't laugh at her for wanting to go after a Rajsha so soon; and that Kadryn wanted some as well!
I bet I could find a market for them among the wild tribe, Sueno thought to herself. She had to think beyond just taming for takings sake; this was to help support her farm in the future after all!
"Ah look forward tag meeting him." She said. "And Ah've heard of foods that could be of use! Just never had time to look into them.. Ah've got some magic jewels though that'll be of use as well." She was feeling a lot more confident about this. She could do this! She was here all winter after all; she'd have time to learn and tame them!
