[[This is an ORP for the pride, to celebrate Sakura and Saileach leaving the pride for a time. Sakura has been told to take a proper Time of Wandering Paws, and Saileach will accompany her to ensure her safety and to keep her from being lonely. There is plenty of meat, fruits, flowers, and such! Interact with your fellow pride members! Don't have a pride member? Aegnor and Dvergr members are welcome if they're visiting, as well as rogues/other pride members if you've family in the pride! Non-prey familiars and non-lined species such as lizards, baboons, and hedgehogs are also welcome! Seriously, no one is stupid enough to try eating a hedgehog.
And there will be a raffle at the end for a prize! The prize itself will be first choice after the parent-owners of a cub from either Almasi-tifu/Uziwa-nurisha OR Viwimbi/Ringwe'naur. If there are not enough cubs in the litter to choose, then you will have a custom-in slot paid for you! Each post in this ORP is a ticket in the raffle!]]
Everything was ready. Halisi-amili smiled at the pride as a whole, taking note that while their numbers were small...they were tight-knit, and they came from so many backgrounds, and had survived so many hardships. And now...they would send one of their own into the world once more to find her paws. She moved to stand atop a large, flat-topped rock that was on one end of Celebration Clearing.
"Merry meet, dearest pride-sibs, and guests. We are gathered today in celebration, to see off two of ours who need a little push in finding their place in the great scheme of things. Sakura and Saileach will be leaving pridal lands at dawn tomorrow to journey for a time, to see what they can and to perhaps come home a little less lost than they left." She nodded to the lions in question. "As it will be, so it shall be. Now...enjoy the party, one and all!" She stepped down to join the party, still smiling. Her son (oh, he had grown up so well, she was proud of him) gave her a quick nuzzle before darting over to his nephew and his granddaughter. Tama headbutted both affectionately.
"You two had best be careful. I don't want to hear about you jumping off any waterfalls like your mother, Sakura. Same goes with you Saileach. I know you've got a better head on your shoulders than Ngoma."
"Hey!" Ngoma pouted as she approached them, giving Sakura a quick lick on the cheek. "I wasn't that bad. Shairi made sure of that. And besides...Sakura's less inclined to get herself into trouble than I ever have been. I'm glad for that." She gave her daughter a bright smile. "I'll miss you, sweetie." Saileach made a face.
"Guuuuys...we'll be fiiiiiiiiiiine. I'm not stupid, she's not stupid, and we'll be back soon enough." He chuckled.

Sakura was a ball of fear, and of nerves. The young female was sitting, huddled up and all eyes and fluff against a tree, despite being honoured here. So many had come the light coloured female felt ashamed it was such a production. She was small and timid, and while unsure, felt quiet and overly-showered in attention.
Really, was it good to leave?
Still, she returned affection while hiding her fear, rumbling softly a moment before looking to her paws again meekly.
She was scared, for sure.

The celebration was as young as the night this Esbat, but there was a light to Múscail's eyes at just how well everything had come together this night. Her pride lived and flourished once again, in no small way thanks to her and her beloved sister's descendants. To think it was time to see two of them off on their Time of Wandering Paws was almost unbelievable to her. It seemed like only a short time ago that her first litter was still small and hiding in the savannah grasses under her watchful eye. And although her heart still pained for her lost children, she had done a lot of healing over the years.
She purred contently, offering her nephew and granddaughter a nuzzle of her own after her mate, her gaze warm and her smile kind. "You two listen to Tama, now. The rogue lands can be a dangerous place if you aren't careful," she warned, before moving to groom poor Sakura's ear. The poor girl had never been as outgoing as some of her descendents, and she could only imagine what all this was doing to her. "But I'm sure you'll both be fine. You know how proud we all are of you already, right?"----- It appeared now was the perfect time for Daima to have chosen to drop in. A celebration of family, friends, and pride was as good a time as any to introduce his great-grandson to his father and mortal half-siblings in the pride. He stepped into the clearing without any hesitation after Halisi spoke, wings folded at his side as he waded through the mists that always seemed to cling to the pride's lands. It was difficult to miss spotting him among the gathering - white his primarily red coat, he stuck out like a sore thumb among the otherwise muted and natural majority of the pride. Not that he particularly minded standing out. He had a great-grandson to introduce to his father, after all.

A much smaller lion followed Daima in to the gathering. Tem stuck by his great-grandfather's tail, green eyes wide as he took in the surroundings. Everything here was so misty and lush and...well. Not at all like home. He didn't recognize anyone or anything, and he felt as though everyone was turning to look at them as they made their way into the thick of those gathered. Why there was a congregation was beyond him, but he hoped Daima would point out to him those he was related to. He trotted a little faster to keep up, feeling incredibly out of place. Still, he told himself, he had to make an effort. Either this pride or the one he'd be shown next he would call home, hopefully, and he had to put his best paw forward. "Grandfather?" he asked softly. During the journey here, Daima had told him to leave out the 'great' part since it just made addressing him take that much longer. "Are you sure there are relatives here?" He and the god stood out so much that it was hard to imagine any relative of his living here, blending in with the mists and foliage.

Baba Croix was conflicted. Sakura was one of his darling daughters, but she really did need a little push in finding her place in the world. Keeping his wings tucked to his sides, he made his way towards her and Ngoma's cousin, only to pause when he caught a familiar flash of color out the corner of his eye. Ah, he had been wondering when Daima would show his face. And who was that at his side?
Turning slightly, the god spread a wing in a waving motion. "Daima! Hail and well met! Who is that you've got at your side?" His build and fur reminded him of the Firekin in the desert.
Dagda nosed through the gathered flowers, looking for a specific one. Well, ones. He knew they'd grown in the pride before the floods, perhaps they still grew on the lands? He did so want to gift one to his son and to Sakura before they left. It was a good-luck charm, of sorts. And he knew they would need all the luck they could get. Sakura was a nervous little thing, and his son. Well, Lock was rather 'act first, think later'.

Cyrille Kibou was not the sort to talk much, preferring to save his words and his wisdom for when they were truly needed. Thus, though he was present at the gathering - of course he was, he could hardly be the Wise One and miss out on something of this sort - he said nothing, choosing instead to watch the younger generation interact. There was much to see and to remember, things that he might miss if he let his mouth run away from him for no reason. If he was addressed, of course, he would answer. But for now, at least, he was content to observe. ========== Amitab was a long way from the desert she had been born into, and to be frank she wasn't certain she belonged here. Everything was so much... wetter than she was used to, and while there was similarity between her duties as a priestess in her old home and her role now, there was difference enough that she feared stumbling. Still, she had experienced a vision of this place - once, faintly... or perhaps it might have been a dream and she was full of wishful thoughts and flights of fancy. Finding a place off to the side of the gathering, she stretched out with a yawn and glanced over the small gathering. She supposed she probably should attend to more than her duties, but... well, they were all so odd. ... And did she mention it was damp? Damp. Wet. Humid. Her fur felt like it was standing on end! No, she'd socialize more when she was less uncomfortable. Or if anyone sought her out, a white lump of fur off to one side.

Halisi moved to settle herself by Cyrille, giving her mate an affectionate nuzzle. "It's quite a start we've got here, isn't it?" The pride was still small, but it was a good, solid start. Another couple of families, and they'd need not worry about bloodlines later on.
Ngoma gave her daughter a sympathetic smile. "Your grandmother is right, Sakura. We're already proud of you. And no matter what happens when you come back, we'll always be proud of you, and love you." She couldn't help but notice the new arrivals, curious but staying near her daughter instead. Her mate knew the god, it seemed...perhaps that was one of his sons? And then her cousin piped up.
"What about me? I mean, I know I'm just a hunter but...gimme some credit!" Ngoma rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. We're proud of you, too, lazybutt."
"Ngoooooooooooma!"
Codail moved to join her mate in looking through the flowers, giggling. "Are you seeking what I think you are, dearest?" Her Knight was such a serious sort that it was so odd seeing him nose through the flowers and plants.
Amitab didn't have much time to mope. Soon after the speech from the Crone, Mery-apet had sought of his niece...and spotting her, promptly flopped down next to her. "Hello, niece. You look like you at something sour." Mery's near-ever-present smile was on his muzzle. "What ails you, sister-daughter?" There were newcomers to the lands, but his family needed some attending to, obviously. Newcomers could wait.

Sakura spotted her father and bolted under his wing rapidly, pressing close. She was scared - there was far too much to do and this celebration simply felt alien, the female peering up more cublike than anything, before glancing to Daima as well. He reminded her of Papa, which meant possibly being family[/i[, and though she wiggled her tgoes a little to say hello, she didn't speak. No, no, she wanted to hide in Daddy for now, and hide she would.
"Papa..." Would he understasnd? Please?
Hiiro idly strolled into the celebration with a calm expression, the young male eternally unreadable, however the scent of food had drawn him out, ears flicking as he glanced agait, stretching and blinking. Oh, there were guests, bnut that was all he noted - one was with a god, and therefor not worth challenging if so. No need for an unneeded fight, and instead he looked for something to take Kai to eat, dominantly walking in a manner to demonstrate his role. There, there now. that was --
And then Haruka sat on his tail, the musician looking up innocently.
"You look like someone rolled in your fur, Hiiro." Haruka teased. The male scowled, batting irritably before she mouthed, making him draw back in agitation. Harukas grinned, getting up and moving to investigate the newcomerds, small pouches of seaglass tinkling as she walked.
"Merry Meet strangers!" She beamed to Daima and his grandson warmly, bowing. "Welcome, welcome! Do you like music?"
One paw rose and she wiggled it, a tinkling, melodic noise ringing from the sea glass lightly.
The only reason Primitus had come was Baba Croix. But why not, when he learned something new about himself? And it would do for Atefeh to meet his family, even if Uurmi could not. No, the young god wanted his father to see his mate, learn what he learned of himself, and just generally share news from the Aegnor, and the god perked. Was this a party? Well! And so Primitus put his mate down and bound over eagerly, rubbing Baba Croix hello before spotting Daima, grinning before pouncing his brother, beginning to tug his ear teasingly.
"Hello, you old rug!" Primitus teased.

Aoimoku was the Suitor. How could he not attend his Pride's festivities. The mute lion had found his way into the celebration late, quietly watching with a warmth to his gaze. Ah, all was well, and it did his heart good to know that there was merriment all about him! After all, every single one of the Coileani deserved it. To be entirely honest, the larger lion was seeking out his beloved mate, curious as to where she'd gotten to.
------------------------------------------- There was always an air of intrigue in great celebrations, he found, and Kuimba'mwanga was always curious to see what would become of it. Such happy festivities here, and so many happy males and females wandering about...it did the heart good. He trotted to move within the land, letting his lithe body twist and turn between the gathered creatures. Perhaps he'd find someone interesting.
----------------------------------------------
She walked with a heavy pawstep as the festivities began, watching all about her with a tired gaze, wondering at the joy on the faces of all around her. Jukwa was not the social lion she'd once been in her youth, having grown, lost cubs, and having just found one of them again, she was in a more pleasant demeanor. Taking a spot at the edge of the throng, she settled down, laying still, waiting. How good...to be near something so...pleasant.
----------------------------------------------
Blind Ciara had taken a few moments to get to the gathering, her paws leading her in the direction of the sound. Maneuvering on her own was...difficult, and so she waited at the edge of the celebration in quiet curiosity. The sounds were beautiful, absolutely delightful. The sound of joy and excitement infectious, leading her to laugh in turn.

Tem got his answer soon enough. Another huge lion with wings made his way over to them and spoke to Daima as if he were an old friend. They shared some characteristics and he couldn't help but wonder if this, perhaps, was the family he had spoken of. A tiny smile crossed his muzzle: he had no idea he was related to so many gods! Another came to pounce his grandfather and, while they didn't look anything alike, Tem got the feeling they were siblings. It was how he would play with his own littermates when he had been a cub. This god wasn't colored like a Firekin, either! Perhaps it was where he had gotten his blue from. Another lioness came over to them, and Tem started to feel a bit overwhelmed. He was used to large families, but here he only knew Daima by name, and they had only just met a few days ago. Still...it was best not to be rude. "I like music," he said hesitantly, although he was only used to the powerful voices of the Firekin as they sang war chants and marching songs. He glanced back to the gods, since the older of the three had asked his name. "I'm Tem," he said, offering his nickname rather than his full name. He didn't like his full name, as it reminded him of not having the proper fiery title that would have allowed him to stay in the Firekin. "It's...ah...nice to meet you, sir."

"You are a lazy lion, Lock." Shairi trotted over, nudging her cousin's shoulder. "You had best not be so lazy out in the rogue lands. That's my niece you're watching over." Shairi was rather fond of the shy Sakura. She was such a sweet child.
Dagda looked to Codail and smiled calmly, nodding. "The sunstars, yes. I would like to gift one to our travelers, before they go. To give them a little extra luck. We've no idea if Lock's will hold out for both of them, or if Sakura inherited her mother's luck." Ngoma had the strangest luck, he swore.
Croix let his daughter hide under his wing, smiling comfortingly at her before wrapping the feathers around her. His poor shy daughter. Haruka's presence was a welcomed one, glad to see the girl was just as friendly as the pride she was born into and the father who sired her. And then Primitus arrived.
Croix couldn't help the laugh that bubbled from him. The laugh died down when the Firekin-born spoke, and he nodded his head at him, smile on his muzzle. "A pleasure, Tem. I am Baba Croix, Daima and Primitus' father." He motioned to Sakura hiding beneath his wing. "And this is my daughter Sakura. She's a bit shy, so she may not say much at first."
Baako stayed near the edges of the celebration, still uncertain how to conduct herself. She was so used to being odd, being on the edges. She was glad to be in a place she belonged, however. The movement of another not far from her caught her attention, and she looked over curiously. Oh! One of the healers! The hunter moved over, sitting nearer to the lioness. "Hello."

Ciara heard her father long before she saw him, her attention brought up as she moved towards the sound of her family. Gods above, she often wished she could see all of them, but until that day came, she was happy to move to see them all. Her voice raised, calling to her sister, "Sakura!" There was a sound of happiness to her. At least she would be able to bid the other farewell properly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a voice that drew her attention from her reverie, glancing up at the female that spoke to her. A smile curved Jukwa's maw, and she bowed her head in response, "Greetings to you. Are you doing well?" The female crossed her paws slightly, still laying down. It's comfortable here.
