If it wasn't for cats, senshi would be running around, unawakened, and earth would probably be crawling with chaos. In theory anyway. Castor liked to think you didn't need cats, per say, but then, he also didn't think the world needed American football but it did need Don Diablos back in the ring.

Castor was not wrong, but he was also wrong.

Hanging out near the DCU campus felt creepy, but then, it was prime stalking ground for corruption targets, so he tended to linger when he felt others head that way. Today? He was trailing a cat's energy, wondering just what they were doing around the school.

It just so happened that someone saw the cat before he'd had a chance to harass said cat. "I dunno about that kitty, but you seem cuter." He smiled, staying in the branches of trees- Natural protection. "You sure you should be chasing things at night, danger tends to lurk in the darkness you know."

Said the senshi hiding in the darkness of branches and leaves.

Who was following a cat.

Because danger.

Theoretical danger at that.

Nadia's hands immediately came down to the soft fur of the oddly colored cat and she was very much curious about the cat's odd accesories.

Even more startled at the sudden voice, but her features didn't show much as she smiled at whatever voice while simantounously picking up Ash in her arms.

"I appreciate the comments from a fan, it's too bad I don't get to see the handsome face behind the compliments. Danger yes, anyone warn you of stranger danger?" She continued to pet the smaller cat in her arms.

"Don't listen to him though cutie, We all know that cats are harmless? You just want scratches and me to remove this horrible prank idea." She reached up towards the glasses. "Let me get these off for you little lady."

Oh, god... did he really just call himself the most handsome? The things coming out of that boy's mouth tonight... really.

Swept up in arms, Ash was content to be held and adored, her tail draping like a silk rope in the corner of an elbow as she resisted the urge to eye roll excessively. Granted, he was handsome. Big, strong, handsome senshi man... just her type! Except for the vanity thing. She liked her men adoring, like Thraen, not touting their own virtues.

This close to the girl, though, Ash could get a better reading on what was going on and satisfaction filled her at what she found. Another notch for her bedpost, so to speak, and definitely something that senshi couldn't top. It did mean she didn't need to hold her tongue any more and when the girl reached for her visor, the guardian lifted a paw to intercept her hand, turning her head away to keep well-meaning fingers from her toy.

"That is quite alright, Darling!" Ash purred, pushing at the reaching hand. "I rather like my visor right where it is and I can assure you, its not a prank. I'm also no danger at all, as our visitor knows quite well. I'm actually rather wonderful, I promise, he's just teasing."

"Your pick up lines could use some work, Romeo." The guardian tossed at the senshi leaning against his tree, her pointed little ears perked smartly forward as she cat-grinned.

Damn cats and their inherent cute senses. Ah well, the girl wasn't freaking out, which was a plus. In fact- "Would you prefer I be a little more undressed or distressed? I'm told the look of rugged and fierce is all the rage this year. You'd get to see a bit more of my features than just my face signora." He slipped in the Italian. Marlo always said when in doubt just roll out the Italian. "Il piacere di un bacio è solo l'inizio di quello che posso offrire cutie."

"You owe me nothing, but hey, if you like I can offer you quite an array of things. Kitty or no- Speaking of, usually the kittens don't talk unless they have a reason to." He eyed the visored cat.

"My guess is this kitty might have a gift, or, a curse to give you. In either case I am here to comfort you in the aftermath of each, rest assured. That's the white knight's role you know." He eyed the cat again, silently asking if his suspicions were correct in just why the cat had chosen to speak.

"Ничего себе , вы лежали толстые слова..." Was Nadia's response to Castor's Italian as she looked at the guardian cat, who was more of a enigma that needed to be solved. Her calm acceptance of everything that was happening was just a sign that Nadia was perhaps, not all there.

but her eyes slidded to half lids, as her smile widened.

And Ash turned into a gorgeous cat woman and had the young woman sighing with delight. This was no dream, but it didn't stop her from thinking of it like it.

"You are fantastic." She cooed at Ash, "Senshi? Ah..." She snapped back to attention, "Aren't those the beings that are called terrorist at night?" She cocked her head, "And I am one of them?" She blinked again, as the cat girl popped a pen like magic and handed it over.

The symbol triggered something inside her memories, she didn't even know. And she felt something glowy and bright just reaching out to be released. her slender fingers reached out for the pen, touching it hesitantly as she looked at Castor.

The moment it did, the words came out quietly and serenly.

"Methone power, Make up." She made sure to look at her supposed white knight as she was engulfed in light. Her lazy clothes, the large oversized sweatshirt and leggings disappeared for a form fitting bodice, a short teal skirt, that flowed like northern lights brushed at her thighs. Boots, stars...her black hair pinned back with a loose collar. She looked, and felt very much like Castor did in his suit, though admittedly less clothing.

"so...Oh." She looked down, gold bangles jingling at her wrist. "I am Sailor Methone." She looked at Ash, then to Castor, taking a small bow. "Of the Aurora Borealis. Northern Lights?"

She took a long moment to stare at Ash, "I'm sorry, this is very very odd, and I am sure I will go home and think this is a dream but...Ash you said? Why...how did you know I was a Senshi?"

Ash beamed with pride as her newest senshi took life for the first time, her modest chest puffing up as she braced her hands on her rounded hips.

"Its my job, Darling!" The mauvian said, happy to tout her skills for her charge. "Its a sort of sense I have, where I can tell by someone's energy if they're a senshi ready to be awakened or lifted to their next level."

She literally preened at the man's comment, but her attention was drawn when he mentioned being a 'prince' and her green eyes grew wide and excited. Ash squealed as she clutched her hands to her chest, dancing on her toes with a hip-wiggling jig.

"Prince? Oh, Darling, why didn't you say so? You're the very first Prince I've met!" She cooed. "Meeting you is almost as good as awakening my new girl!"

Tonight was truly turning into a stellar day for Ash. Spinning in place with a flourish, Ash produced a phone of the normal sort in one hand, reaching out to pluck the case open and pull a piece from it. Tossing the case over her shoulder with a contemptuous flick to disappear into her pocket, she extended her now empty hand to catch a sleek new phone as it dropped out of the air. In a moment, she had it's case open and the bit of tech inserted, the whole of it clicked shut before she extended the new smart phone to her charge.

"This, Methone, Dear, is your new phone. With it you can call and text other senshi that you register into it. You can do that by simply taking their picture! There are also lots of useful things on it, like the Senshi Primer. Its filled with some of the information we've gathered and put together to help out new senshi like you. I've already pre-programed myself into it so you can reach me any time you need anything or have any questions." She explained. This all felt like it was going awfully fast, but she seemed to be absorbing it all okay... and there was just so. much. to share.

"Now, to sort of preface why you've been awakened... there is something of a war going on that the people of Destiny City see in only bits and pieces. They call us 'Terrorists', but really, most of us are trying to keep the city safe. There is a faction of people powered by Chaos who have a nasty habit of draining people for energy and sometimes even killing them. They have nasty monsters called Youma that they use and its Senshi duty to stop them. The fighting has been going on for a rather long time, more than one life time even. These people are very dangerous and as a basic senshi, you're at your weakest right now, and most vulnerable. You will need to be very careful about powering up and facing these Negaverse agents, do you understand, Darling?" Reaching out, Ash took the hand not held by the Prince and squeezed it reassuringly.

"Your best approach right now is learning your powers and what you can do. Youma are good practice and I think a lot of senshi start out hunting and dusting them, because they're weaker than full Agents."

The cat's first prince? Well, given he was the only 'white moon' prince, he suspected that it was fair enough for her to fawn over meeting him. He'd do the same thing if he was female. "Well little miss kitten, consider it your lucky night because now you'll know who to call when you need someone to get the job done." His smile hid the implications well enough of the fact he was perhaps one of the few who could alter the fates and courses of destiny so dramatically.

"I also have a cat bed back at my place if you ever need some cover by-the-by. It's my spare pillow and it smells of my cologne." He'd flirt with the cat too. Because get in good with the cats and senshi would follow. Just like the newly awakened one.
"Princes and royals are the few who have the power to purify and change the scales in our favor... or in the favor of chaos. Supposedly we understand the cosmos better than others, but the reality is that we are the ones who simply have the power to channel energy better. It's a complex system sugar light, I wouldn't fret too much over it for now. That is what the cosmos is and how we get our power. Order are those who give energy and tend to lean by the way of creation. Chaos is a force that consumes, and leans towards destruction. There is no clear line in mere words, but rather in application and outcome. Again, it's complex stuff and really in depth. Think of it that senshi represent protection and stabilization, where as the negaverse represents upheaval and domination. There is no true good or evil in our fight Methone."

His hand was softly running in her hair, her hand forgotten. "That is the nature of the war you've joined unfortunately. But I'm not one to just let you join blind of course." His finger ran down the back of her neck. "You've got my number now- so when you're ready for a lesson on history and what senshi are you'll be giving me a ring okay? Speaking of-" He pulled out his old flip phone, entering in her name and scanning for her number.
"We're probably looking like an energy hotspot. You two wanna take this to a safehouse?"
