Sauron sat on a raised lump of dirt and waited. He knew the war was "over", news traveled fast out here on the plains. His eyes stared off mournfully into the distance. When would they be back? His heart hurt, he didn't feel whole, he was afraid with too much more of this he would droop like a plant with too little water. If not for Sezarra he would have lost his patience already and gone marching down there to stick his nose in all of the goings on. But he had something to protect to cherish and there was no way he would have let Oba get close to his little girl.

It was Kelina and Kresimir. He just knew he could almost feel it shiver across his skin, so he picked up his daughter with pure joy in his heart, his eyes already leaking against his will and walked to join them.

With her darling son walking beside her and holding her hand for the last little bit of the walk, Kelina hung her bow over her other shoulder to leave her other hand free. The war was over, and it was with relief that Kelina now returned to her family. Kresimir had gotten quite the scolding on the way back from the battle camp, she made sure he knew he was in the wrong by not listening and following directions when she told him to go back home before the battle started. Her eyes gleamed as she saw Sauron and Seze start towards them and tears started forming in her eyes. Oh how she had missed them both. They had had such a busy time here lately, from fleeing their home on the outskirts of Ast to Kelina going away to battle. There was much that Kelina needed to tell her husband, well, her whole family really. Now was not the time though. The tears started falling as she saw Seze squirming in Sauron's arms reaching out towards her.

Her family. They were all safe and they were all together, what more could she ask for. Kelina happily took Seze from Sauron's arms and hugged her tight. Her daughter could probably feel the tears running down her back but Kelina didn't care. "I'm back Sezarra my dear." Her eyes met her husbands and she thought she might burst into more tears, but for the sake of the children, she held it together as much as she could.

Sauron supported his son with one arm, embracing his wife with the other, noting her tears and knowing she saw the ones in his eyes, pulling away eventually so as not to squish their children. His son melted his heart by resting his perfect little head on his chest. "Beasts hey? What kind of beasts? You know your sister found some beasts too, much to my er.. delight. And how is Ms Ime?"

He winked at Kelina over their son and daughter and gave her a secret smile that promised many kisses when their kids crawled off to bed. "What else happened me lad?" Sauron stroked his hair through Kresimir's as of yet short silver hair. Considering his parents, Sauron didn't think it would stay that way for long.

"And you my love? How did you fair in the battle?" He directed that at Kel.

Kelina's smile was pure as she looked over her little family of four. She had to focus to stop her tears of happiness as she didn't want to freak her children out any. At the mention that Sezarra had found some beasts, Kelina's eyebrow raised. She felt a little bit better about it when she found out that they were radaku, something Sauron was familiar with. A smirk came over her smile as she noticed Sauron's secret smile and how he reengaged with conversation with Kres after a few moments. "I fared much better this time around. Only a few scrapes and bruises, nothing like the last battle. I'll tell you more details later." There were some things she didn't want her children knowing just yet.

Seze's hands scanning her face caused her smile to return and she bounced her little one. At the announcement of her hair, Kelina looked at her daughter's hair. "Oh my! It almost is isn't it? We'll have to add a few more braids in there won't we?" She said with a wink. "Well my dear Seze, I would say I would teach your Daddy all my super secret recipes but then they wouldn't be super secret recipes now would they?" She gave her daughter a kiss on her swirly crystals and squeezed her tight.

Sauron snagged Kelina's hand and they all started back to where they had been staying for the last little while. "I always knew you would return to kick cosmic butt my love, last time was just a fluke. I can't wait to hear the details."

He watched Lina kiss Seze right on her swirl of crystals on her forehead and thought he would implode with happiness, his daughter seemed to glow in the presence of her mother.

He looked down at Kres and rubbed his nose against his son giggling madly with glee. "A weird looking beast? Did he tickle you like this?" Sauron used one hand to flip his son over and tickled him soundly with the other, then flipped him back and held him close. "I look forward to your drawing, what did Naria look like can you draw her too?"

Sauron ran his hand through Kres's short hair, "You know you eat your vegtables and play with your sister and I know your hair will grow in... could even get longer then mine! Would you like that son?"

Kelina took her husbands hand and couldn't help but shake her head with a smile on it at the sight of her son being tickled. Sauron was such a great father, she trusted him more than anything and with everything. She made a surprised face when Seze announce that they got Radaku. Kel raised an eyebrow at Sauron but let her daughter prattle on. "I'm sure it will grow in no time as fast as you two are growing anyway! And if you say I shouldn't teach Daddy all the super secrets I most definitely won't then!" She hugged her daughter closer to her as they walked back to the small tent Sauron and Sezarra had been living in since the battle started. It broke her heart, honestly, and nearly brought her to tears. All their stuff that was lost. All the things she had to leave behind. A little bundle in the corner of the tent caught her eye, it was all the stuff of her mothers she had brought, Sauron had kept it safe. That brought the smile back to her face. When should she tell them that they didn't have a home to return to? That this war didn't just take so much of their home land and ravage it, but it burned down their home leaving them with only what they had with them right now. What should they do? Would they rebuild in Ast again? Or would they go elsewhere? The children were getting bigger, it would be a big decision. One that was best left to another time.

Sauron snickered at his son "Of course playing with your sister will help! How do you think your Ma got mine so long...." he leaned in close and whispered "She pulled on it." Eying his mate conspiratorialy he looked back at his son to catch the look he knew would be there. Then he couldn't help the deep chuckles that rocked his body. " I'm kidding Kres the play will help your muscles not your hair," he held an arm out and flexed dramatically. "See! See how long I chased your mother my legs nearly bulged through my pants shes such a fast lady!"

Seze looked at him like she could tell he was goofing off just for them. It was a look he swore he had seen on Kelina's face more then once. Buuut being dead serious all the time was gloomy, he was happy so he wanted all of them to be happy too. It was what made him a wonderful morning person much to Seze's pillow hugging dispair.

"Well my boy when you are old enough as in bigger then that shrub over there, we can look for your radaku, and for your mother too if she wants one, though I always took her for a bird person." He waggled his eyebrows at Kelina.

Kelina's face seemed to mirror that of her daughters in that moment and so it must be a genetics thing. "What do you think, Seze, think daddy's hair should be longer?" She said just as conspiratorialy as he had to Kresimir. She gave Sauron's hair a playful tug. "We can put flowers in your hair, Seze-dear, and then all the boys will be chasing after you because you're so pretty. Though, they'd chase after you even without the flower. Why do you think we've kept you way out here? We don't want your daddy getting too tired from chasing all the boys off." She said with a wink at both Sauron and Seze.

"We're out of paints? When we get to the next village I can look for some good ingredients if we are. I need fletching for arrows too. So its either a village or hunting." The forest always provided for them, sometimes it was just deciding if it was more worth it to just pay for them.
