Blood
Vampires need blood to thrive, not really survive. It is the difference between looking and feeling healthy and barely being able to move while looking like a shriveled up raisin. To stay healthy a vampire must consume at least 8oz every day. It is possible to drink more if desired as well as less if required.
A vampire can go two days without any blood so long as they drank well before the fasting started. They cannot, however, go more than two weeks without starting to feel the hunger. At a month a vampire is weak and probably won't be able to catch prey. Longer than that and the vampire's body starts to go into starvation mode until they wrinkle up and become practically immobile.
Hunger is easy enough to ignore, but if the vampire feasts on a live being after two weeks of no blood, they will probably go into blood lust and drain the body. The vampire must then be careful about drinking more blood than their body can handle.
Too much blood and the vampire's body won't be able to take it all. As a quick means of disposal the vampire's body might force itself to throw up the unneeded blood. If there is only a little too much blood, the vampire will cry tears of blood though they do not realize they're crying. This can be a very startling scene if any non-vampire should come across it. And even if they know what is happening, they will think the vampire a monster even if the vampire could not help the situation that occurred.
Vampires these days try to live rather normal lives. They drink donated blood packets from banks specific for vampire consumption. The vampires that still drink straight from a body either have the person's consent or cannot afford the blood packets and is, essentially, stealing straight from the source. If caught these thieves will be put in jail and possibly killed if the jury of vampire peers deem it.
If the vampire happens to have a source that consents to being fed off of, the vampire should limit their intake in one sitting. They don't want to cause the person any illness. This relationship should not be taken lightly, though. Much like with humans and sex, the drinking of blood is kind of intimate. This should only be done with someone that the vampire trusts and who trusts the vampire. (Thieves get around this using hypnosis.) Also, be wary of illness as a vampire can obtain a disease through blood and temporarily have to deal with the symptoms. (24hours at least.)
Vampires should NEVER drink from other vampires. There is little point to it as the first vampire's body is already making use of the blood it consumed. If another vampire tries to ingest the blood from another there will be nothing for the new vampire to work with. They will end up getting ill for a while depending on how much they drink. The illness is called Blood Death. The vampire becomes weak and it's body acts as if it's full and will not let the vampire consume any new blood. They will also run a high fever. There is currently no known cure as the taboo has mostly died out and thus there was no need to find a cure. It is not a death sentence, but it can last long enough that the vampire starts to shrivel up. The Blood Death has to run its course before the vampire can drink again.
Another word of caution on the consumption of blood, there are aliens out there, as we all know, and not all of their blood has been sampled. It is best to not drink from an alien as we do not know how a vampire's body might react to it. It could be deadly.
Also, don't drink from zombies. That just doesn't make sense.
Safe sources of blood consumption: human, lycans (be weary of reptile-lycans as their blood might not be warm), fae (but good luck finding a willing body!)
A vampire is capable of eating food like anyone else, but it won't sustain them. Still, it's nice to be able to enjoy a meal with family and friends, especially during the holidays.
Myths and Facts
Sunlight does not kill a vampire. It merely stings. Since a vampire's body is all but dead, it cannot protect itself from the sun's UV rays. A vampire doesn't tan or burn, but they certainly feel like they're being burnt. At first the pain is merely like someone has slapped the vampire's whole body. After a few hours the pain is like touching a hot skillet. It only gets worse from there but a vampire would get out of the sun by then.
Garlic is nasty and can make a vampire retch, but won't harm them. Anything with too pungent a smell will repel a vampire as they can /really/ smell it.
Crosses, churches, or holy water is no big deal. Honestly, this was a stupid myth. Who thought of this?
A steak through the heart or chopping off the head is the only way to kill a vampire. You have to sever the brain and the heart.
Vampires do not stop aging until their bodies reach 25-30 years in appearance. Scientists have guess this is because it is the peak of human developement. After 30-years-old the body starts to deteriorate in small degrees. The vampire breed cannot die of old age and thus it's body is kept from decaying. xxVampires do age very slowly, though; one year of growth to every five of a human's. This means that though a vampire may appear to be 20, they might actually be 27 or even 30. xxIt is quite torturous until the vampire stops aging and no longer has to worry about looking "too young". This is why it is frowned upon to turn anyone younger than 25. It is illegal to turn anyone below 18 in more recent years.
Tattoos are not perminate on a vampire unless they use a special ink. The ink is really expensive and used only in the deep underground. It might also kill a vampire if the mixture is too strong. It is advisable not to try to get a tattoo.
A vampire's hair grows fast because their whole body is technically dead thus it is not surprising to see a vampire with long hair. To maintain hair it must be cut every week.
The viewability of hickies or bruises and how quickly one heals depends on when a vampire has last fed. If it occurs within a few hours, the proof is gone before anything can really show. (This is because fresh blood is pumping through the system and can heal any wounds as it goes.) If it is 12 hours or more then it is healed within the day, no matter how bad the wound or how strong the hickie. If the vampire has been denied blood for more than a few days, a bruise won't even form but all wounds will lie open.
Magic
Vampires are lucky enough to have magic. Simply by being or becoming one, a vampire has magic in Night, Shadow, and Lunar areas. Then, with teaching and practice, a vampire can also learn magic in four other elements; Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. They will be strongest with the element they are most attuned with (probably matches their personality). It is hard to find the magic within themselves without a guide.
Remember that all magic takes a piece of you with it and you should not cast too much in one go. Be sparing in your use of magic.

Questions/Answers The joys of being mostly vampire.
Would the middle child crave blood from the moment he crawled out of his bowl, or is there a certain age that the cravings would start? xxxYes. A bit like a baby needs milk, the middle child will need blood. (Or like a vampire freshly converted.) He will be fed a small amount (an ounce or two) every few hours much like one would any baby with milk.
As the most vampiric of the three would his aging appear to be slower than Liam and Rebecca? Does he show his age as slowly as a full-vampire, or would being part Choveckites alter the normal process? xxxHe would be just a bit slower. Thanks to the Choveckite blood the guy won't take quite so long to grow up, but he will still always look younger than his siblings. He might even get his "growth spurt" later than his brother. (Girls and boys already get their spurts at different times. Girls before boys.)
Would Shay or Tomas sit down and explain to the kids the first time or two why only Liam and Rebecca need to go with Tomas? If so, what do you think Shay might say? If not, how do you think Shay would react/what he might say if his middle son asked him while the other three were gone one day? xxxYes, the two will take the time to explain things to the kids. xxxShay probably won't say much but will do his best to make the times when the rest of the family are gone special for the middle boy. How so, will depend on the personality of the boy. Otherwise this scene can be something RP'd if the owner of the middle boy so desires. I'm totally up for it!
About what age would the middle child start being able to use Night, Shadow, and Lunar magics? And about when would they have the ability to use the other elemental magics? Do they feel it within themselves instinctively or is it more mental? xxxVampires are magic by nature, and innately work with Shadow, Lunar, and Night magic (aka their hypnotization is a form of innate Shadow magic)- HOWEVER, they can't really control it with, like, spells or what have you unless they've been trained. Most of their magic is used on a reflex basis and isn't usually all that refined. For example, Shay can sort of blend into the darkness of the night when he wants to - a muscle-like reflex with Shadow magic and if he's distracted it can dissipate. With training a vampire can LITERALLY disappear into the night - nothing can sense them and they can maintain it until they release the spell. xxxThe elemental magic is RARE for vampires. They have to meet certain standards BEFORE AND AFTER they're changed. A standard, that I believe, you can decide if the child meets or not. Shay doesn't and would be a bit shocked to find out a child of his can. (Like torn between pride and jealousy.) xxxAs for the age of when it start showing up, the basic vampire magic will probably show rather soon, but not something dangerous to deal with.
Would you say they're more likely to discover the elemental magic in later adult years through training, or is it something they might innately know they have at a young age? xxxI think it's something that they, or someone with magic knowledge, might know or notice from a young age. It will probably be something they might feel or wonder about, but not anything they would pay attention to/can use until a teacher helps them. Faye or Faelnirv (Chibi's fairies) will be able to sense the magic in the child and can tell him and his family if the winner so chooses.
Do vampires sleep? Or need to sleep? xxxThey don't need to sleep but most chose to at certain times. They also might sleep as a ways of waiting for their body to heal from either too much physical labor or an actual battle. They could stay awake for it, but it helps time go by faster. xxxThe only time they actually need to sleep is when they've exhausted their selves with too much use of their magic. (If they have any. Limit would depend on their training, I think.) xxxMost vampires sleep during the daytime because the sun hurts and why bother being awake if you can't do anything? A vampire with a group of non-vampire friends/family might sleep at night to seem normal to their companions. Or they might not sleep at all. Either way they make sure that they are available during the day for their friends & family. xxxShay usually chooses to sleep during the day because the club he works at doesn't open until sunset, but if Tomas is home he might switch to sleep while Tomas does if he has the time off from the club or a late shift he will wake up for a few hours later. xxxI imagine he'd switch back to "sleeping" during the night now that he has kids to watch out for. Heck, he might not even go to sleep.

Morphing Ability
Choveckites are not, in fact, humanoid in nature. Their humanoid appearance is only achieved after years of dedication and practice. In truth, the Choveckites are a hexapodal race with four eyes, two hearts (one in the ribcage and one hidden in a rib-pocket in tucked in the left hip), and a fast healing factor.
The way that Choveckites morph back and forth is extremely painful and not done without great sacrifice. To go from humanoid to the beastial form, Choveckites must allow a great bloodlust and rage to consume them. They are at their most volatile in the midst of morphing, and for a few hours afterward all things are prey. The return to a humanoid state, the Choveckites must meditate and become serene. Obviously, the later can take a longer amount of time - sometimes even days.
The Choveckite Empire consists of ten very different planets - AKA each planet has different environments and atmospheric/elemental make ups. However, this is cause for very little alarm for the Choveckites as they are a hyper adaptive race. Their home world, Tartarus, has volatile seasons and chemistry. Therefore, the creatures that have survived are hardy and flexible - both in mental capabilities and physical attributes.
If they were simply adaptive, Choveckites would die out very quickly on the worlds they conquered. However, what makes them such a terrifying colonizing force is that nearly all the new Choveckites sent to different worlds survive. Within a few years, or decades in some cases, the Choveckites will adapt completely to their new planet. Within a generation or two, it'll be like they were meant to live there. (Ex. a water planet first gen. Choveckite would become slightly amphibious. The next generation - even more so.)
All Choveckites and their assimilated descendants are viewed as full members of society and fully protected by Choveckite law. This also applies to half-breeds.
Empire's History:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
There is a planet called 'Tartarus'. The main species on this planet, similar to the humans of Earth, are called the Choveckites. Their cultures are male dominated, and their ways of life are brutal and cruel. Each litter of baby Choveckites contain 3 - 5 kits. They are fighters at birth. In ancient times on Tartarus, the babies would begin fighting one another within their mother's womb, killing all but one. The sole victor would then claw their way out of their mother or be born naturally with their mother's dying breath. As such, they now normally take the newborns out of the mother, and set them in an area so they may fight each other without hurting innocent bystanders. And they HAVE to fight at birth, otherwise they develop serious mental conditions, growing ever more aggressive until they snap and go on a psychotic rampage until they kill themselves.
Now, many years ago, there was litter born to a lowly Choveckite. From this, came the most powerful Choveckite the planet has ever seen. Gifted with pale fur, which was representative of power, and a powerful command, this Choveckite soon rose to what could be called a king like status. He quickly grew restless and gained more and more dominion until he ruled the entire world of Tartarus.
But it was not enough. Using his peoples’ advanced technology to his advantage, he quickly set about conquering other worlds, setting up one of the greatest trans planetary empires in the universe. This Emperor had many sons and daughters from his harem, but only one was fierce enough to take the throne. This new Emperor took control with the iron fist of his father, but brought with him a strategized ruling of law. His empire rejoiced and flourished under his rule. However, due to instances of assassination and treason, the Emperor was soon only left with two brothers.
The youngest was ever kind, a trait rarely found in their species and had no desire for things to change. The eldest, however, was dark and clever, forever hating his younger brother for not killing him when they had dueled for their father's throne, but had shown 'restraint' and let him live in ridicule as one of his advisors. He desired power, as their grandfather had.
A few years into his rule, the Emperor was blessed with the birth of a miraculous son. The last born from a litter of a whooping 7 siblings, he was preordained to die moments after birth. However, fate had other plans, and gave the young Choveckite unnatural strength and power in rage. So strong with his son, that the Emperor no longer wished for any other children. He spent time with his son, teaching him the ways of their people that way no other father had ever done before.
This action was never heard of, but it brought yet another element of civilization to a barbaric race. The two uncles, as well, were allowed to teach the young prince the ways of their lives the youngest with social interaction and the eldest with schooling studies and battle. When the young prince was roughly the age of 14, however, things changed. The eldest brother, chafing under such a long period of peace, gathered his dark followers and ordered an attack on the king.
The attack fell on the worst possible day. The Emperor fought his brother well, and would have beaten him if for not one thing. His brother was too clever. Noticing his brother was trying to protect his son, the eldest dove to stab at the young prince. The Emperor, out of reactionary defenses, intercepted the blade and was felled. Before the eldest brother could turn and strike down the defenseless boy, however, the third eldest arrived with the Emperor's loyal faction and another battle began. The third eldest, when able to, shouted for the prince to run.
And run he did, straight into the hanger. He climbed into the exploratory ship he and his father had been planning to ride in for a few days of leisure, opened the hatch and fell out to space. However, as he was escaping, the eldest broke away from the battle on the host ship and stormed over to the ship's weapons control firing the remaining weaponry at the small vessel.
Thankfully, since he had not set the lock on the positioning system on the ship, most of the deadly arsenal missed the young prince. However, some of the minor explosives hit his ship's rear as he jumped into warp, sending him skewing through space time. He landed on a strange new planet, his ship damaged and his heart broken. The year was 1767, and Tomas had arrived on Earth without any idea of what he was doing.
Questions/Answers These are the questions you guys have asked me and I've answered.

1.) How often would you say Liam and Rebecca return to Tartarus or wherever they might need to go to learn things? And about how young would they be when they go on their first trip?
2.) Would Tomas or Shay sit down and explain to the kids the first time or two why only Liam and Rebecca need to go with Tomas? If so, what abouts do you think he'd say? Or if he doesn't tell them, how would he react/what would he say to his middle son coming to him to ask why he doesn't get to go as well?
3.) How do you think Liam and Rebecca's growth would compare to the middle child? They are all half-and-half, but as the middle child is the most vampiric would he appear to age slower than Liam and Rebecca?
1.) Fairly often when they are younger and will need to go to Tartarus for an expedited training to maintain their humanoid appearance and control their morphing. The first trip would only be a few weeks after they're born.
2.) Oh, most definitely. Tomas would be the likely one to speak, and he'd try to maintain a calm environment would definitely explain it honestly. He wouldn't try to coerce him into staying or try to sugar coat it - he would expect his kids to be reasonably mature. He would also try to explain that the middle boy would have to stay with Shay and be together - leaving Shay alone would be really mean, yeah? Not to mention that Tartarus is unstable and the air wouldn't be breathable for either of them.
3.) I totally forgot to mention that Choveckites have RIDICULOUSLY long lifespans. His grandfather Cyril lived 8,000 years, and Uraltugo lived almost twice that before he was killed - physically only being around 45. So, yeah, Rebecca and Liam would age a tiny bit faster than middle boy, but not by much,

Tomas De'Awesume-- Tomas is a giant dork. He's also very intelligent and giving to a fault - something that has gotten him into a little bit of trouble in the past. Tomas adores anything to do with technology and will start to ramble on about all things mechanical with the enthusiasm of a child. He's been hurt, both physically and emotionally, so it takes a while to actually earn his trust. Overall, he's a pretty easy-going guy and highly enamored with anyone that manages to hold his heart (of which he has two - thanks alien biology!).
When it comes to being a father, Tomas will likely develope into the 'fun' parent. Due to Shay disliking a lot of physical contact, Tomas will probably have to take over main entertainment and coddling duties - in the beginning at least. However, as the kids get older, he'll settle and be the one the kids come to for homework help or to try and get something (Rebecca exploits this the most). That said, he'll eventually be able to deflect any outrageous demands or attempts at persuasion with the ever so popular "Ask your papa." He'll also likely be the one to encourage the kids to go out for extracurricular activities and attend every function.

Shay Daley-- Shay is charming and aware of his sex appeal. Despite the way he acts, he is actually a very insecure person. He was raised in a family where affection was not shown often and his Sire ditched him early on in their relationship. It takes a lot for Shay to trust someone. When shown a lot of affection Shay has a tendency to act indignant and like he doesn't care, but that's just him trying to protect himself from being hurt. He has a small group of friends he fully trusts but can be perceived as a friend to anyone.
When it comes to raising the children, Shay will probably be hesitant at first. The children were very much a surprise and he's not sure he can even be a good father. It won't be too long, though, that Shay will pick up his new mantle and charge ahead. He still won't be verbally affectionate, but he will always make sure all three are well fed, bathed, and happy each day. Shay probably won't show physical affection all that often either, but he will kiss them good night and won't refuse a hug and will insist everyone holds hands to cross streets. He will be the worry-wort sort and will constantly want to have tabs on the children.

The Siblings The older brother and younger sister born from the same pod as the bowl.
Liam De'Awesume-Daley, Elder Brother-- Liam, should he be put in one word, is a conundrum. He is introduced to many as a handsome guy with an aloof attitude. Despite being popular and flirtatious with the girls, however, he is shy and often hides in embarrassment shortly after making bold statements. He has all of Tomas' charm and wit, but none of his comfort with provocativeness - which can often lead to his foot being relocated to his mouth. In fact, the easiest way to fluster him is to be flirtatious right back at him!
That said, Liam is very kind and genuine, despite all of his attempts to come off as mysterious and edgy. Once he is familiar with another person, he is almost alarmingly affectionate and thoughtful. He takes his role as the eldest brother quite seriously and can sometimes be overbearing to his siblings. Liam, much like Shay, also can be quite the tsundere and not say what he is feeling despite it being written all over his face and body language. All and all, Liam loves his family and will do anything to keep them happy. He is the least vampiric of the three siblings and needs blood very sparingly - in fact, it sort of tastes icky to him!

Rebecca De'Awesume-Daley, Younger Sister-- Rebecca is a very intelligent child. She takes after Tomas in that way. She is also very outgoing and makes friends easily. Rebecca invests herself totally in other lives. She loves learning new things or about new people. She has a tendency to speak her mind, though, and this causes her to sometimes accidentally be rude; especially if she thinks someone is rather stupid. And though she's not fully conscious of it, Rebecca seeks out the spot light. This is a habit that will be especially true as an adult when she becomes conscious of her allure.
Rebecca likes best to work with her hands and loves to deconstruct then rebuild things. She doesn't really follow the rules and sometimes gets herself in trouble. Thankfully, Rebecca can usually charm her way out of most situations, but not all. (That's where Liam comes in.) She loves her family very much, but being the only girl out of the group (right now) she grows up used to usually getting her way. Rebecca fully loves her family so she doesn't intend to take advantage of this... most of the time. She quickly includes any friend into the family unit in her mind. Rebecca has more vampiric tendencies than Liam and therefore needs to drink blood more often.

Family Friends These are friends who are probably going to constantly be mentioned. Though not actively RP'd (as they are not in shop) they will affect the bowl's life in many ways.
Faye Robinson-- Faye is a bright, happy young Seelie Court fae from the Spring Court. She has been teaching Maahes about vampiric magic since they were in their teens and is very knowledgable about all magic forms - Faerie, Lycan, Elven, Vampiric, and even what little magic the undead can accomplish. She is Tomas' best friend and cares deeply for the couple.
Shroka and Richard Cast-- Shroka and Ricky are pretty much the lynchpin couple for Tomas and Shay's social circle. Shroka is a wolf lycan, pediatrician, Shaman to the Zerhalians (wolf lycan tribe - only lycans left who truly can access magic), and vessel to their water deity. Ricky is a third generation CEO to one of the largest eco-friendly organizations in the world. They have two twins - Eric and Eirian.
Maahes Cast-- A vampire who was turned not too long ago. He's best friends with Shay and the two often end up doing stupid stuff together. It is thanks to Maahes that Shay came to accept himself. More than likely he will be like an uncle to Shay's kids... The kind of uncle that will encourage the kids to get under Shay's skin. Maahes and Tomas have a sort-of friendship that is a bit strained since Maahes has a crush on Faye.
Name Dropping These are friends that might be mentioned or RP'd with the bowl/family, but are not active members to be fully aware of.
Faelnirv Strider-- Faelnirv is a very old High Faerie Lord of the Seelie Court of Spring. He doesn't really interact much with Tomas or Shay, but may become involved if their middle child shows signs of magical prowess.
Casey Wyman-- A friend of Ricky's from work. Though he doesn't actively hang out with Tomas or Shay outside of their usual group gatherings, it would not be surprising to hear about him from time to time. He might even come by to visit more now that there are kids involved. Babies are just the cutest!
John the Bouncer-- John is like the Hagrid to the family, not a member and doesn't hang out outside of work, but definitely important to both Shay and Tomas. He is a rather beefy man who protects the patrons and the servers of the club Shay works at. Though he looks tough, he is actually a sweet heart when he doesn't have to play the role of a bouncer. He has a daughter and a wife. <3
Shay's boss-- His name still hasn't been disclosed. He is a rather old vampire who likes to keep his money in his wallet rather than update his club. Lucky for him, the open-to-all policy continues to draw in a decent crowd every night. It's either that or because he continues to hire only the hottest servers. The world may never know~
Other Family Members These are family members that are important for various reasons. Do not be surprised if they are actively mentioned or ignored. They are a part of the bowl's history as well as his future.
Silvan, Tomas' Uncle-- Silvan is a kind, wise man who is very passionate about personal illumination and the pursuit of happiness. He is the youngest of three brothers to survive during their father Cyril's reign - Thantos, the eldest; Uraltugo, the middle child; and finally himself. He held the title of Emperor’s Socialite under Uraltugo's reign, until Thantos attacked Uraltugo's fleet and killed him, Silvan arriving in time to save Tomas and help him escape. He was the driving force behind keeping up the war in the empire, never losing hope that Tomas might still be alive somewhere out in the stars.
Kumall, Tomas' Cousin; The New Emperor-- Strong, proactive, and genuine, Kumall is a strange member of the royal family. He and Tomas were close as children, and that closeness helped Kumall rally support for his father's cause and keep a torch burning for Tomas' return. Through the long years, however, Kumall found himself enamored with Tomas' promised mate - Neira - and the two fell for one another in secret. Upon Tomas' return and the war's end, Tomas appointed Kumall as the next Emperor. Kumall, in turn, cheekily appointed Tomas the Choveckite's Ambassador to Earth, knowing full-well why his cousin was so eager to return.
Neira, Kumall's Wife; Tomas' Ex-betrothed-- Neira is not actually of royal blood - due to her uncommon beauty, however, she was chosen to become the Heir Apparent's first mate. They were quite close as children, probably closer than most betrothed, so the Emperor's murder and Tomas' disappeared hurt her greatly. She keep a strong face to help Silvan's campaign, but was quick to fall in love with his son Kumall. She and Tomas still hold soft spots for one another, but as they've each found their true companions, there are no hard feelings between them.
Adam, Shay's Sire-- He will probably never be mentioned in the family except for in hissed anger by Shay. The guy is, to be honest, a selfish a*****e. He cared only about himself even when he had a teenaged vampire to look after. He kept most of his knowledge of vampire life from Shay during the brief years the two were together. Once he realized that Shay had a crush on him, he fled during the day, leaving Shay alone to fend for himself. (iMoony might someday custom him into the shop.)

Username: Frezir Bowl Name: Ponzio De'Awesume-Daley Name Meaning: Vampiric for "Of the Sea" Basic Personality: Even though Ponzio is the middle child, he's usually the one who doesn't speak much. His expression are the best way to tell his true feelings. Just like his father, Shay, Ponzio isn't much for affection except for when he's a little kit. He can always be found reading a book, taking care of his feline companion, or seen doing some chores. As he grows old he becomes quite the bright son and excels in his studies. He would wish to become a vampire warrior to protect his family and close friends.
His blood lust will play a big part when he grows old. He would grow to learn how to save his money to get a monthly supply to keep his bloodlust to a complete minimal. He becomes wise past his years, but can lapse into a thirst for blood. He has an honor code that he lives by to not feed off another living creature unless they are his mate and have given consent to it. Response: Rebecca and Liam took more after his father, Tomas. Even though he had been passed down with the mutant eyes. He feels slightly left out being mostly vampire, but learns to love exactly who was born to be. Ponzio gets teased as a child and as he grows up into a young adult. But as he grows older he grows wise enough to fight back to protect what is his and his alone. The other people would tease about how he was a vampire and his family were 'aliens'. It would make him cry when he was a kit. Sometimes he would get into fights for it, but nothing too crazy. He would always stay silent when he'd become a young adult when others began to tease and make fun. He learned to never use force.

Name Meaning: Anglicized form of Gaelic Áedán, meaning "fire." Variant spelling of English Adin, meaning "dainty, delicate . Basic Personality: Aden is a very out going middle child he is always fighting to get his parents attention, if he cant seem to get his parents attention he is up in his room reading a book,or taking care of his cat that keeps him company. Aden blood lust a lot he is always craving blood even if he is not hungry and sometimes he can not controls it, he worried that he will hurt someone close to him one day. Like his father Shay he is not a touchy lovey person, he tends not to like to be touched, and backs away when someone try's.
As Aden grows older he learns how to control his blood lust, and he becomes more of a neat freak, everything has a place and he prefers to keep it there. Response: Aden being the only vampire needing to satisfies his blood lust would ask his father Shay for advice and would want to spend more time with him as he would know what he is going through. He would ask Shay a lot of questions trying to figure out what he could to do to stop his blood lust from consuming his life. Aden like most children wanted to go outside and play, but the first time he went outside he found that not most children did not like how he looked, they called him four eyes, the only thing they could see that was wrong, they did not know that he was vampire yet. Aden ran back inside and cried alone in his room, Feeling hurt and unsure what to do.
Aden woke up early one morning feeling a sudden erg for blood, he hardly went outside cause of the incident that happened last time, he rather spend time with his family who understood him, and his cat that never left him. as he knew not why he was craving blood he went to find his father Shay to stop this feeling. Aden felt like a different person when he was craving blood and felt uncomfortable about it, as he looked around his home he could not find any of his family members. He looked everywhere and could still not find them, he eventually looked at the front door and grimaced.
Aden opened the door a crack and looked outside, it was muggy outside, eventually as Aden peered outside he opened the door fully and looked around outside. Aden could hear it and feel it people where looking at him, and whispering about how he looked. Aden looked around clearly he was being made fun of but, he tried to ignore it but could not forget everything he was hearing, hurtful words why did People pick on him more then his other family members?

Username: Peter D Hook Bowl Name: Shawn De'Awesume-Daley Name Meaning: Irish: 'God is gracious; gift from God.' Basic Personality: In a simple word, Shawn is a charmer. He knows he's handsome, and he uses that to his advantage in some situations. He does have some insecurities about his extra eyes when he's a kit, but he grows out of it as he becomes more confident. Shawn comes off as being self-centered due to his confidence, but he is quick to show he is kind and friendly. The only time he's not is when his family or friends are in danger, or if he's hungry.
When it comes to his eyes, Shawn has taken to wearing sunglasses when he goes out to hide them, or he'll hide them under his bangs. He's also a bit of a bookworm, and loves to read young adult or children's fiction (which is his favorite genre). When he has a secret he can't tell his family, Shawn will tell it to Lief, his cat.
As Shawn gets older, he will want to learn the magic that comes with being a vampire, and pursue magic as far as he can. He would want to learn about elemental magic, and find out if he is capable of learning it. In the event that he does meet the requirement to learn elemental magic, Shawn will be partial to water magic, as well as the lunar magic that comes with being a vampire. Response: Shawn often felt lonely whenever his siblings would go off with their dad to go traveling, but he didn't mind spending time with his papa. It was nice, but he still wished he could have gone with his dad and siblings every now and again. But despite Shay's understandably prickly disposition, Shawn never had a problem with it or his papa at all.
It was particularly quiet tonight, and Shay must have been in his room or something. Shawn had opted to do the same, laid out across his bed with his cat Leif curled up on his back. The young vampire hummed to himself as he reread the books that Leif's name had come from, Deltora Quest. They were easy reads, and had been a birthday present from the previous year.
At some point in the evening, Shawn got bored of sitting alone. With book in hand and Leif perched on his shoulder, he invaded his papa's room and plopped onto the bed beside Shay. When he recieved a questioning look, Shawn just smiled and opened his book to read in silence next to his papa. It was always quiet when they were alone, but Shawn was content with the quiet.
He figured this is why his parents agreed to let him have a pet, so he wouldn't be so lonely when Rebecca and Liam went off with their dad and when Shay was busy or nestled in his room. Lief was a great companion, and while he eased the loneliness, it didn't stop Shawn from feeling left out sometimes. But he usually didn't mind it.

Blood. Yup that is what it was nice tasty blood meal. He loved blood more than his brother and sister. He noticed they werent the same and he wondered why they didnt like blood as much as he did. He sighed thinking, 'They are really missing out' This was the night that Liam and Rebecca went with Thomas for training. He looked at his dad, " Papa, when does my training begin? I know I am not the same as Liam or Rebecca, but do I get some training on to who I am?" He hoped he would say yes and that they could go training right away.
Username: jinxgirl5 Bowl Name: James De'Awesume-Daley Name Meaning: It means "supplanter", but I picked the name more because it's one of my favorite male names than for the meaning. If that makes ya'll uncomfortable, given family history, my second choice would be David, which means "beloved". Basic Personality: As a very young child James will be very cute and cuddley. He's all smiles and energy, very sweet and loves to play. He also really enjoys snuggling, but will have to be taught vampire etiquette about when it's appropriate to nibble. The lesson should stick quickly, since he doesn't like making people unhappy and will take the rules very seriously. - -As he gets older a bit of doubt will start to set in. He knows that his family looks different from most others, but as it becomes more apparent that even among his siblings that he's a bit different (more vampire than Choveckite) there's going to be some resentment starting to creep up from the feeling of being left out. He may become, at times, needy for attention and display a competitive nature. Of course this will not change that he loves Liam and Rebecca, and guilt over his bad behavior and his natural personality will trump his need for attention. For example if he begs for a special treat and gets it he may eat a little bit alone at first, but will soon seek out his siblings to share since he likes to see them smile. He may grow a possessive/protective attitude regarding Shay. This doesn't change his love for Tomas, but Shay will be the one he is more likely to seek out. This is not to say that he shuns the company his family or friends (he will always be there for them), but as he matures he will want to find things out on his own. This can land him in trouble from time to time, like with any adolescent, but he's smart enough to come to Shay or Tomas if he realizes he messed up. As with his child years he is more likely to approach Shay, but this doesn't mean he will hesitate to seek Tomas out. Shay is just the logical choice when in need of answers to vampire-oriented questions. - -As an adult, James will still have the quiet nature that showed up during his teen years. He feels he has more of a handle on his body, and though he is cautious and continuously aims for improvement he will seek out help from friends and family instead of trying to do everything on his own. He acquired an interest in mechanics and technology from listening to Tomas explain things to him as a child. It was a bonding experience that has survived and continued to thrive in the present day. James enjoys tinkering with things as a way to relax, and loves working on projects with Tomas. With family and family friends he is still a sweet, caring guy who always has a smile and time to give them. When it comes to meeting new people he's unsure. He is a little awkward and rarely makes a first move unless intrigued by something, but is friendly if approached and able to hold a conversation. He will need some time to grow into a sense of confidence, but once he's more comfortable with his looks and not worrying about how others might perceive him he will be able to exude charm at will. Prompt #: 1 Response: James sighed softly and snuggled a little closer to Papa, listening to the gentle rise-and-fall of his breathing. Daddy had left with Rebecca and Liam yesterday, leaving James behind. He'd been greatly disappointed and had pouted at first, but Daddy told him they couldn't leave Papa alone by himself, that he and Papa should stay together and look after each other. James, with every ounce of solemnity one usually finds in a toddler given a serious task, nodded agreement. It didn't take long for him to get restless again though. It was so quiet with Daddy and Liam and Rebecca in the house! Papa wasn't as good at playing games as Daddy. He wasn't as good at adventuring as Rebecca or as fun to tease as Liam.
But Papa was the best at making one feel loved! Like when he'd given in to James' wish and they'd built a huge blanket fort in the middle of the living room. Then he crawled in with James and they both laid on their backs staring at the ceiling of their tent and talking about whatever came to mind, even though Papa usually didn't talk a lot. Even right now. Papa was scared of giving hugs, like he wasn't sure how, but James was watching Papa as he had snuggled closer and knew he was only pretending to be asleep. Because Papa had smiled.

Basic Personality: Aaron is often described as a cool mysterious handsome guy. Aaron oozes out charisma and charm. He is also very smart, although he doesn’t show it off very often. He might even be seen as scary, or violent by his enemies. He likes to mess with people and try to get under their skin, just to see them get riled up. He doesn’t really get close to other, usually sticking closer to his family than others. Once you do get into his inter-circle you’ll most likely have an enteral spot there. He likes to keep his distance from other people; he’ll act all nice and charming so don’t be fooled. So Aaron doesn’t have many friends, his closes companion would have to be the little feline that had fallowed him home one day and very didn’t leave his side. Aaron is super protective of his family. He won’t stand up for people making fun of them or putting them down.
Aaron likes to be by himself, always doing this by himself, more often than not with a book in his hand, his secret love. He has another secret love to him other than books; that is sunlight, he loves the day almost the same as the night. He has a very cool anger, it is really hard to get him angry unless you harm or put down his family; when he does lose his anger it explodes. Aaron’s emotions can be quiet hard to read, because he’ll always have a charming smile on his lips. There are rare times where you might surprise of shock Aaron, and during those rare times you might see a more cute childish flustered side of him.
When he gets older he will be quiet adept at shadow magic, with the ability to melt into shadows and casting illusions. He will also has an elemental magic, much to Shay’s pride and jealousy, he has the power over fire. Aaron does have a weakness other than his family, which is blood. He loves it, fresher the better. Although he will live his life off of donated blood bags and etc. When he sees blood or the like, he finds himself unable to focus on other stuff. He also finds himself needing more and drinking more of it than normal vampires, not that he minds. As he grows older he will probably help with his father’s bar and help draw people in. When he is/was a child and his brother and sister left for their week long training section he would feel very lonely and jealous of them, watching as his older brother and sister leaving with Thomas and staying behind with Shay. He had always wanted to go with them and see where he gets his other genes from, he had heard so much about it and the people from there but he had never been able to see the place himself. It always made Aaron envious on how they would be able to go there. Although those alone time with Shay were nice.

Beep beep beep Aaron slowly opened his eye half way and then shut them again… Beep beep beep The sound of the alarm clock yelled at him again to wake up. Aaron opened his eyes fully and looked at the alarm clock… After staring at the number on the clock he let out a sigh and brought out his hand up and pressed the button to turn off the alarm clock. He sat up and let out a yawn while he stretched. After the yawn he let his arms fall and then he stretched his head. Still a bit drowsy Aaron looked around his room, letting his eyes land on his covered window. He watched as the light filtered through the curtains on his windows and then heard his stomach growl. At the sound of his stomach he licked his lips thinking about the small liquid pouches in the fridge that papa always kept in the refrigerator. Thinking about the deep red liquid set his stomach growling again. Aaron quickly got out of the bed and headed down stairs.
When Aaron got downstairs and headed into the kitchen he saw that his older brother Liam and his little sister Rebecca were already at the kitchen table already eating breakfast. Apparently papa and dad haven’t gotten down stairs just yet. Brushing the thought away he headed toward the fridge and dug in until he hit the snack pouches and grabbed two of the small pouches. As he backed out of the fridge he opened one of them and started to suck the red liquid out, as the red liquid hit his tongue he smiled, he had been looking forward towards the red liquid; it was cold but it was still delicious. Papa Shay would probably scold him about eating it right out of the refrigerator but Aaron didn’t really care about that at the moment. As he pulled out of the refrigerator he turned and headed towards the microwave. He put the other snack pouch in it and set it to a time to warm it up. As Aaron hit start and then leaned with his back against the counter.
He continued to slip on the first snack pouch he saw Liam looking at him. He was probably didn’t know that he was showing a slight disgusted look on his face, but Aaron just nodded his head to his brother in acknowledgement with a slight smile on his face. He knew his brother didn’t mean to show that expression, he knew Liam didn’t get so many genes from Shay as he did. His sister Rebecca was just continuing to eat her own breakfast not really paying attention to him. Looking at them while sucking on his pouch while waiting for the other made him think of how different he was from his two siblings…
He slipped thoughtfully as he looked at his two siblings. He had noticed even thought he was born between them… he looked younger than both of them, he wondered if that should bother him, but he didn’t know. He remembers the multiple trips that they took with papa Thomas that they took to Tartarus. Aaron was always so envious of them being able to visit there, he wish he would be able to go there one day, but it seemed very unlikely. He let out a sigh unintentionally, but it wasn’t all to waste during those times he had some personal time with papa Shay.
Oh, well even though they are vastly different they were still family… Thinking that brought a memory to mind, of when they were even younger not too long ago, and a few kids called his brother and sister weird and teased them. At the memory Aaron’s teeth clenched on the straw like tube of the snack pouch cutting off the delicious tasting liquid. He remember feeling an intense heat deep inside and he punched the other kids telling them to take it back and he had continued to punch them until they did. He even remembered the long lecture he had received after words too… Aaron looked down at the floor next to his feet and narrowed his eyes. It wasn’t the first time that people have picked on them or tease them or the last, but for that he was never seen as violent. Even now just thinking about it made him angry still can feel the echo of that great heat deep inside.
The beeping of the microwave woke him from his trance, causing him to look up quickly and at the microwave. Aaron slipped the last bit from the snack pouch in his hand and opened up the microwave grabbing the now warm blood snack pack. Aaron licked his lips again and turned around and headed to the table, not before making a quick stop at the trash can to throw away the empty pouch.
Aaron sat down next to his siblings smiling coolly at them. He did know something… He won’t let anyone harm or hurt his family if he could help it. As Aaron opened the new warm pouch his mouth watered and he quickly put the open tube into his mouth and let the warm liquid spread in his mouth. Warm blood was a lot better than cold. Aaron heard some footsteps causing him to look up toward the entrance into the kitchen area and seeing their fathers come in. He gave them a smile and continued to enjoy his breakfast, he might even grab a bowl of cereal before starting the day.
