Hobbies:BJDs - A hobby introduced to her by one of her foster parents before she entered St. Mags, Sun Hee took to BJDs rather well. She enjoys customizing the dolls, and has several outfits for each of the three dolls she owns. She used to save up bits of her stipend to get things for her dolls, but now she uses some of the spare money from her paychecks.
Sewing - A hobby gained because of her BJDs, Sun Hee enjoys sewing a great deal. She specializes in clothes for her BJDs and herself, as well as repairing clothes, adding patches, and makings purses and such.
Painting - Sun Hee started painting while at St. Mags, and she hasn't looked back. Her paintings are never for sale, instead gifted when someone likes a piece a great deal or hung in her little apartment. She prefers watercolors most of all for their soft look, but has dabbled in oils and acrylics. Her themes tend to be nature-related, or simply a softer look at the world around her: a young man sipping coffee at a cafe table, a woman walking her dog, a couple hanging upside down from the monkey bars.
Tea - One of the few things she doesn't hold resentment towards her mother for is introducing her to tea. There is a tea for everything, and there is a sort of calmness that comes with preparing a good cup of tea. She doesn't have a hated tea: there are only varying levels of like to Sun Hee unless you managed to burn it. She tends to always be on the lookout for new teas and tea accessories, and one cupboard shelf in her kitchen is full of tea cups and mugs.
Religion & Philosophy - These are subjects that intrigue Sun Hee greatly, and she collects books, videos, and podcasts on the subjects while also keeping an eye out for presentations locally. She sees both as integral parts of the human psyche, and how they affect humans and are affected by the changes in the world continue to fascinate her.
Virtues: Observant - Sun Hee is the sort to notice things. If something is out-of-place in an area she's familiar with, if someone seems to be rather more upset than they want to admit, etc., she tends to notice it. She excels in the art of noticing the smaller bits within the big picture, and is able to focus on the big picture enough to realize when something is off about the smaller bits.
Faithful - Growing up with unsteadiness until St. Mags instilled in Sun Hee a particular dislike of wavering in one's duties, loyalties, and promises. She hated it while she was growing up, and she refuses to be like that if she can avoid it. So she does her best to be a very steady person, staying true to her word and her loyalties whenever possible. She's the sort who will try and see her promises out to the end, and will stick by her few friends whenever possible.
Creative - Almost as an extension of her love of art and creating things, Sun Hee is an out-of-the-box thinker, refusing to let herself become mired in one way of approaching a problem or challenge. She'll often take a step back, physically or mentally, assess the situation, and approach it almost like a sketch for a painting, or a difficult sewing project: one method didn't work, so how do I best achieve the result I'm looking for? What angle have I not tried yet?
Flaws: Zealous - When Sun Hee is passionate about something, she is PASSIONATE. Often to a blinding degree. She's the sort who will follow a cause to the ends of the earth unless something manages to shatter her faith in it completely, and then she'll find herself lost and uncertain what to do. She'll often talk about the topic excitedly, or try to recruit others to her cause. Thankfully, she doesn't get invested in things easily, needing a lot of time to get interested in something or it needs to really tug on her heartstrings somehow.
Prideful - When it comes to the things she does, she can make no mistake. Not in her mind. She is the best, she is the one to get the job done. And if someone disputes this, well...Sun Hee is happy to prove them wrong. If someone tries saying her work is someone else's, she'll point out otherwise quite quickly.
Cruel - Make no mistake: Sun Hee is not a nice person. She is often angry at the world, and it tends to show in the way she treats other people. She will often talk down to others, use their discomfort or flaws against them, and doesn't bother trying to be sympathetic most of the time. She'll be especially sharp with someone if she has a particular dislike for them. And just because she keeps her word or has a loyalty to you, doesn't mean she's going to be NICE about it.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Deep, dark violet. Fairly Korean in shape, though a little wider, with long lashes.
Hair: Ink black, to her ankles. Often kept braided in some way, or otherwise kept up.
Face: Her face is oval/egg-shaped with delicate features. Sun Hee is very pale, spending very little time in the sun without proper sun screen and a parasol or wide-brimmed hat.
