Iris was not supposed to patrol by herself. So Iris was Ellie as she walked down the streets on her way home from picking up dinner. It was late, and the streets were dark thanks to the time of year.

However, it was late enough for some crazy people to be out on the streets.

Perhaps the craziest b*tch was out loose now. When the tomboy saw the familiar lilac curls springing out of the side of her vision, the blonde decided she couldn't sit by and let the continue her obviously dangerous path of destruction.

If the b*tch considered stealing from the Moon Kingdom to be harmless, she didn't want to see what other "harmless" actions were just waiting for the city.

Taking a side step to the nearest alleyway, the blonde set her takeout to the side, then powered up. Within moments, she grabbed up her food and wandered back to where the b*tch sighting had occurred. A cell phone seemed to magically appear at hand. As Iris fussed with the phone, she stepped up to Zia.

"...you got a minute, b*tch?"

Zia was actually doing her best not to power up, for once, even though she seemed to be looking for something. Without her aura senses it was probably futile and stupid but she had gotten the idea in her head it was easier keeping Zirconia down if she stayed in her natural form rather than trying to access Zirconia's powers without accessing Zirconia herself.

It made sense in her head.

She was so focused on that and her search, she barely noticed Iris until she spoke.

She whirled around, tensing up defensively, and then doing her best to relax, letting an easy, smug smile spread across her face.

"Aw, you buy me dinner, Blondie?"

That smile was something that Iris wanted to smack off of Zia's face so badly.

However, that wasn't the plan this evening. That smile would vanish soon enough after the senshi followed through with her plans.

Holding the bagged up food in the hand furthest away, the blonde set her elbow on Zia's shoulder, holding her senshi phone up at eye level.

"...why th'f*ck would I do that for?"

It only took a few seconds for Iris to close her eyes, and a few moments later, the pair began to fade from the current spot on the street.

For Iris, it was a familiar sight to see as the pair seemed to reappear in a new place. However, for Zia, it would be absolutely foreign.

The sun was setting upon a desolate land of dark sands with the wreckage of various wooden wagons and the occasional skeletal remains of large unknown beasts of burden.

The moment they had arrived, Iris stepped back, removing her elbow from the lilac haired girl's shoulder.

"...be glad it ain't summer..." was all she said. Even though Winter was not much better on this asteroid.

Zia flinched a little, but relaxed when Iris just rested her elbow on her. She saw the senshi phone and could add two plus two. She didn't bother ducking away, though. Curiosity killed the cat, and this cat was always eager to get to space, even if her ride was not someone she was on the friendliest of terms with.

Even if it was Iris' homeworld, Zia looked around it with a gasp of quiet awe. "Why are we here?"

She tested her sneakers on the dark sand and glanced at some skeletal fossils poking up in the distance, having to tamp down the urge to run to them and take pictures.

"I know you didn't want to get me alone to feel me up."

The tall senshi's phone disappeared as she stepped away further. While still clutching to the bag of food, the blonde's form seemed to shift rather suddenly. It wasn't a new sight for Zia as the short skirt turned into a flowing gown, and seeing the two wings rip out of the Princess' bare shoulders was old news.

However, when Iris turned to Zia, her gaze was far more narrowed than the Princess usually allow upon this face. It was Ellie Spectre truly in control at that moment. The sour look didn't fair well for the other girl.

"Yer here....not fer that...."

In an experimental manner, the pair of wings upon her back opened and shut, flapping gently.

Turning away, she stated "...you get t'fend fer yerself for a bit..."

With a sharp beat of her wings, the Princess was up in the air. She might not have been able to truly fly, but the wings were an excellent form of transportation on this world.

If Zia has some stuff she wants to say... SAY IT... cuz Iris is ditching you in 3... 2......... ( xd )

"Excuse me?" Zia responded flatly, not quite getting it as she watched the wings flap and the princess's look.

When she flat out said it, it still seemed a little far fetched. How? Why?

"Excuse me?!" She called as Iris lifted in the air.

"You are not seriously going to leave me in a ******** space desert to die. Iris. Iris? Iris, get the ******** back here!"

It wouldn't have been effective if Iris had assured Zia that she wasn't getting left behind permanently. All of the inquiries from the now panicking girl just received one response.

"BYE!!!!"

Once she had pumped her wings enough to get some altitude, the wings tucked in a bit so the girl could dive and glide a decent distance away. It wasn't like truly flying, and when she got to the ground, the blonde had to make sure to have her feet ready to land briefly before repeating the process all over again. Yet it was far more efficient than walking in the desert.

Iris clutched the bag of take-out food to her chest. It would take a while, but eventually the blonde would have a place to take a break in and eat. Yet, it would require a lot of gliding to get there.

And Zia, fortunately, could not follow her at the same pace.

Feel free to explore for a bit <3

Iris had the advantage, but Zia still broke into a run after her anyway, which only served to stress her panic more as her sneakers slid on the sand and she felt like she was slowed in an endless wasteland.

She still persistently ran until she was reminded how out of shape she had become since she stopped being regularly dragged to the gym with Pascal. She ended up dropping to her knees once she was out of fuel, which was not much thanks to endless sleep deprivation, and shouting out one last, "******** you!" Into the desert expanse.

She flopped over and laid in the sand for a minute before she decided that her heavy breathing and lack of water made that a really dumb idea, and now her lungs felt heavy on top of burning.

The first thing she did was check her cell phone, which, being non magical obviously did not have a signal in space. In space, no one can get your texts.

She hauled herself up to her feet and brushed off her jeans, looking around some more. Dramatically faceplanting had gotten her a little turned around as far as which direction the princess of rainbows had gone in, but it didn't matter too much. She figured she was either ******** or not and if she was the person who ******** her over wasn't going to be of much help.

She started wondering about the mechanics of leaving people on your asteroid, or if she disappeared if Kairatos or Alfheim would even noticed. And if they did notice would they suspect the culprit.

This led to sulking in the sand over bitter thoughts of weird jealousy when she could have been taking photographs of space llama remains.

Nope. Busy being jealous and creepy and bitter.

The princess maintained her odd running and semi-flight pattern for quite a while, getting her own workout as her "guest" remained ditched on The Edge. It had been rather lucky that the tomboy had gotten takeout food ahead of time. It meant there was no real chance of Iris getting exhausted before finding Zia again.

Eventually the winged figure approached a settlement made of pale stone. At the edges of the buildings, the Princess landed, taking to the streets and wandering down a pathway she remembered from her Silver Millennium youth. Her feet led her to a rather humble stable-like facility. The young lady might have seemed out of place, considering the garb she wore. However, it was a place she knew well. Settling down on the ground, her wings folded against her back as she spread out her thoroughly cold dinner.

"...I hope... I am doing the right thing..."

Zia was dense in Iris' humble opinion. Would she understand how thoroughly upset the senshi was with the outcome with that mirror? Would the potential death threat be enough for the brat?

I can't let her just do what the hell she wants at this point...

With the spread of a quarter hour, the food was consumed. Glancing over the empty stable, she stood up and moved towards one of the stalls. Her hand ran across the edge as some fond memories touched the back of her mind.

"...it's been a while since I was here..."

Even during the Silver Millennium, she hadn't come back to this place after she had finished her first visit to the Sacred Lands. The nostalgia of building her home was a warm feeling fluttering through her heart.

"...I suppose I should head back..."

It would still be another hour or so before she could find Zia again. With a small breath, the Princess exited, spreading her wings once more so she could make the round trip.

Carneli
2 hours later.... if you want, you can have Zia spot Iris like the 2 hours have passed?

Zia did, eventually, after roughly an hour and a half get up and investigate the strange animal remains she saw in the sandy distance. But that only took so long and soon enough she was laying in the dirt again, staring up at the sky.

She had no idea what was going on except maybe Iris was the worst practical joker in the universe. Or maybe she was legitimately trying to kill her, but either way, message very much not received.

You really ******** this one up.

"Thank you, disembodied voice in my head," Zia responded verbally because it wasn't like there was anyone around to judge her for talking to herself.

Perhaps it is not best to challenge the local royalty with no discernible form of back up.

"I didn't challenge her for s**t. I didn't do anything except use her sparkly feather butt as a battery for your freaky mirror."

To contact the wrong person.

"Okay, you know what? I'm not talking to you anymore."

Technically I can hear your thoughts, it isn't necessary to speak aloud.

Zia rolled over and buried her face in the sound. Maybe dirt drowning would be a mercifully quick death.

It wasn't unexpected for Zia to wander from the initial starting point. However, from the night air, it didn't take very long to spot the thing that did not belong amidst what could be called a cart-graveyard.

Her wings crisply flapped behind her as she slowly brought herself back down to the dark sands, causing dust to fly up.

The Lilac-haired girl was face down in the sands.

"...I would have thought it'd take more t'kill you than a couple hours..."

Iris did not sound impressed as she stood there, taking in the sight.

At first, Zia was still, although she was away of the sounds of fluttering wings as Iris approached. It wasn't like the place was swarming with birds.

A beat passed after her statement and finally, movement happened as Zia pulled one arm up and held it up to Iris. Not for help or assistance, but just to flip her off. And then she pulled herself up and narrowed her eyes at the princess. "What the ******** was this all about? I thought you wanted to talk, not ditch me in a space wasteland while you go eat tacos or some s**t."

There was a stern expression upon the blonde's face as the guest gestured her in such a manner. It wasn't a surprise Zia was upset. However, Iris came into this knowing she'd be creating a further divide between them.

********* would probably disagree with Iris' tactics, but the Princess was not going to take this sitting down.

The Princess stood tall, wings spread out as she glared the at the foreigner to the asteroid. "I don't like you... and you don't like me... I am not going to sit and pretend like I trust you either. However... this.... is a warning..." A flippant hand gesture to the surrounding area to emphasize what this was.

"If your stupid stolen mirror brings any sort of disaster to the Earth... I won't hesitate to bring you back here to let you rot."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 10, 2014 7:55 pm

Zia's eyes narrowed for a second, and then she stood up to her feet and brushed off her knees and picked up her previously shed sweater to hold while she tightly crossed her arms in it.

"I know I bullshit a lot, Iris, but it's not a decision I made lightly, or with much alternative," She started in a more businessy tone than she had ever used in front of the senshi. Or even at all, in recent memory. Zia used to have a business mode she could put on and take off once upon a time. She seemed to have either forgotten it or just not deemed any situation worthy enough to bring it out until now.

But there was no light laughter or teasing in her tone this time.

"The Dark Mirror Court is already a consequence of the two universes converging in ways they should not. It was a violation of the natural order when Chibimoon crossed the barrier and stole Nehelenia's crystal, it was a violation when the Black Moon pursued her, and now there's already a disaster to clean up. There is already an infection festering in the wound of this universe."

She straightened up and squared her shoulders. "Sending Zirconia home and cutting off their connection to that universe is the solution, not the problem. The risk versus the reward is too great to ignored. I know what I'm doing... And if I don't then..." She paused and just briefly her eyes fluttered to the ground and her conviction broke. Only for a fleeting fraction of a second. And then it rallied as she looked Iris in the eye again. "Then I'll take whatever you bring with no regrets."

The Princess listened to Zia's words, but even with the shift in tone, the expression lingering on the blonde's face made it evident she was not sold.

She stepped forward, her dress fading, filtering back to the form of her fuku. The now-senshi reached a hand out and placed it on the foreigner's shoulder.

"I don't trust you," she said, no hint of uncertainty in her tone. "And you don't know what you are doing..."

With her free hand behind her back, she had summoned her phone and the two were fading back into the streets of Destiny City.
