Zoey shimmied out of her school clothes. She had things to do, parties to attend, goodies to relieve rich people of. Tonight there was a Halloween masquerade pool party and no school tomorrow. The air outside was crisp and cool but it was a heated pool. First, her makeup had to be done. She pressed her butterfly patterned fake eyelashes on and waited a moment to make sure it stayed on. Then she slipped her butterfly bikini on along with a worn out pair of sneakers and her lace mask. Considering the cold air, she slipped on a black coat to cover herself. Her little butterfly wings went into her backpack along with her heels. She'd put them on later.

On the way to the party, she made a stop. After making sure there was no one around to see her, she climbed up a tree in deep shadows. Once on a sturdy branch, hidden enough in the fall leaves to not be seen, she put her shoes in her back and pulled out her heels and wings. After a young couple passed, she jumped down, landing in a crouch. Zoey slipped her heels on and with wings in one hand, continued on to the party as if there was nothing unusual going on. She checked her phone to make sure she was late for the party.

Once at the party, she danced and gyrated like no tomorrow without touching a single drop of the liquor offered to the minors at the party. She didn't need none of that s**t in her body. Zoey needed a clear mind. She didn't need drugs to have fun. While the party was still in full swing, she slipped out.

Up the same tree she went and changed her shoes. The coat would get in the way so it stayed in the tree too. Zoey slipped on the gloves she always kept in her backpack. She smiled up at the mansion. Throughout the week, she had been following this one woman who had been going on a shopping spree recently. Best places to find targets is malls or on the one street with designer stores. Now she had a party full of people as an alibi if she needed one. Doubted that though. These idiot rich people. They bought so much damn stuff that they probably had no idea what they had.

Zoey slipped onto the wall from the tree. Whoever these idiots were, they made it damn easy to get onto their property. She grabbed onto one of the balconies from the wall and pulled herself up. From there she walked right into the house. This door wasn't even locked. She searched for anything that caught her eye. There was no real rhyme or reason to what she stole. It certainly wasn't something she planned out. All she knew was they were rich and there had to be something she would like with the added thrill of stealing.

She made out with some jewelry, clothes and a roll of sushi. Her backpack as she climbed down the tree was stuffed. Everything she wore to the party went back on. Zoey dumped her backpack at her house inside her room. She made it back to the party in a good amount of time. Just enough so that no one would have really missed her. Then she partied on into the early morning hours, hopping between different parties.

As the sun was coming up, she weaved sleepily along the sidewalk back to her house. Hopefully the old lady wouldn't be up yet. She slipped into her room and leaned back against her bed. In the dark of the house she had been at, she didn't have the opportunity to really examine was she had taken. Anything that caught her eye had been taken. She laid out her goods in front of her. There was an expensive (based on the price tag) cropped sweater, a rose gold ring, a crazy expensive retro black and white dress that made here grin nearly ear to ear, a leather zip-up halter, and a gorgeous white gold ring with diamonds and a giant freaking ruby. She tried the ring on and held it up in the morning light to admire it. Zoey stashed everything in her closet and then promptly passed out on her bed, wings and all.
