I dig Gaara, but I've never imagined interacting with him, and haven't done so for any of my favorite fictional characters since I was about 14.
I'm more of a nature documentary kinda fangirl -- I will happily observe him in his natural habitat, but won't interfere.
So... No. I like him too much to subject him to me.

It would be hard to have Gaara as a best friend since he's rather cold...but I would love to hang out with him sometimes.
