Off in the corner of the gymnasium, there is a photo booth, as well as several large cut-outs where you can take pictures of yourself in weird and wacky costumes. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to take a closer look?
(This thread is for roleplaying your character ICly taking a picture either in the photobooth, or with one of the large cut-outs provided. Attendees are invited to post and mingle, and perhaps even win some art of their character!)

Upon entering the photo booth, you see that it is decked out with a lot of strange gadgets and gizmos, and has you wondering if this is perhaps... safe. However, aside from the fact it looked like some mad scientists had tinkered around with it, there is a seat, as well as a monitor which shows your face as you peer into it. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to-

Before you can react, a bright light flashes, leaving you temporarily blinded as you hear several whirring sounds. A few seconds later, it stops, and you sit there, looking baffled. Maybe the machine is broken? Best to leave and come back later to see if it's been fixed.

Next to the booth, a trio of cutouts stand waiting for you to stick your faces through their grimy holes. Just kidding, the holes are clean, but there's no camera here. You have to have either brought your own or figure out a way to borrow one of the ones you see a wandering gnome carrying around.

Since the photo booth doesn't seem to be working all that reliably, the Student Council has provided painted wooden characters for boils and ghouls to stand behind so that they may have a memento of their science-filled evening.
Just open up your favorite photo editing software (or get a friend to help) and toss the student image of your choice behind any of the transparent PNGs below. Shrink the image to an appropriate size for those of us with slower internet connections (600 pixels tall or so) and post it in this thread for everyone to enjoy! Don't forget to RP!

Micail had spotted the strange booth from a distance along with the funny cutouts that stood not far from it. So far it didn't seem like anyone was interested in them. The more Micail watched the booth the more he found himself wanting to check it out. After a few more moments of thinking it over Micail decided to take a look. He made his way over to the booth. How ever, before examining the booth its self he decided to take a look at the cut outs that were standing near it. He had to admit that they were pretty funny looking. He walked around to the front of the kissing scientists with his arms crossed as he examined it. A chuckle escaped him as he shook his head. It had to be the silliest thing he had ever seen. But he had to admit it was probably fun if you had someone to take the picture with.
Seeing as he was alone though, he walked over to the frankenstein one and pondered if he should get a picture just for the heck of it. Of course you had to have a camera for that. Micail didn't bring his. He had one but he never really used it. Since he didn't have a camera he just shrugged and made his way over to the photo booth. The outside looked normal and after reading a few signs on it he entered it and closed the curtain. Turning he stopped and looked at all the strange gadgets and gizmos. It looked like some kind of mad scientists experiment. Glancing around Micail moved to the center and looked at the monitor.
It didn't seem too bad. All he had to do was figure out how to work the thing. He blinked as he looked at the buttons then the monitor. He was about ready to reach over and push one of the buttons when there was a sudden noise and a bright flash. The next thing Micail knew he was being blinded.
"Ah!" He backed away slight as he lifted his hands and covered his eyes.
He stood there for a moment rubbing his eyes as his ears picked up several whirring sounds. After several seconds Micail removed his hands and blinked. Other then seeing a few black spots his vision was fine. Looking around he blinked a few more times to adjust his eyes before realizing nothing happened. No picture came out... nothing. It was clear that the thing was probably broken. Rather then stick around, he figured he should leave before someone thought he was the one who broke it. Sliding the curtain open slightly he peeked out to see if anyone was watching. The coast was clear so he quickly stepped out and placed his hands behind his back. He made shifty eyes as he quickly scuttled away from the booth in hopes no one saw.
AJ bowed for Mayaa's compliment, "Not my usual style, but I think the outcome isn't so bad, DIY is fun." The boil leered at the Harpy and winked with a smirk. "Hello Birdie, you look tasty!" Tasty was a compliment in Head's dictionary, for her brilliant colors.
Noticing one of the shorter boil grabbed another boil and his partner, AJ chuckled and looked at Mayaa with a casual shrug, "Let's go then."

Arriving at the photo booth, the three already there, all looking at a weird big rectangular box. "No worries, I will go first." The boil randomly petted Mellow on his shoulder, smiling to comfort the rest. If it was fine, I will call you."
AJ interestingly gazed at the big thing, peeking the many buttons and lights inside the box while Head couldn't help but took a bite at the corner, as if it was a candy house. "Ugh! Bitter, not tasty." There outside the booth left a big teeth mark at the corner. The boil giggled and messed the head for its misbehave.
The serpent dragon composedly crossed his legs, smiled at the monitor that reflected his face. At the same time the head shoved in, a bright light flashed. Different from the Head who barged and made loud sounds, the boil was laughing for the shadows created in his vision, like blurred dots. He put a hand on the Head's neck to calm it down while spending some time to get used to the effect.
The machine whirred for a while before it's utterly silent. "Wh-What happened?!" The Head yelled. "I don't know either, maybe it work, maybe it's broken, but I think it's a fun experience, let's go and tell them it's safe."
Back to the group, AJ informed the group that the machine was safe and that they should try it on their own. "I see STARS and SPARKLES, very bright and many many!" The Head exclaimed, eye widened and hissing excitedly for what it went through. "It should be safe, just sit in and be prepared for a bright light to flash. In my opinion, it's quite fun. Who's next?"

She laughs a bit as she looks down and saw what the blacklight was doing to her outfit she had decided to go with a Jack Skellington Masquerade Ball Gown theme! Her gown (This Gown only with Off the shoulder straps like Belle's Gown from beauty and the Beast) was a semi Victorian themed black satin gown with white pin stripes running up the skirt part and a white rose shaped ruffle on her right hip the top part has elegant designs made with a white diamond like stone and across the top were black ribbon like satin straps which hung on her arms she also wore long black satin gloves which went till alittle past her elbows (Basically think Belle's gloves)
Her soft chocolatey brown hair instead of being in her usual ringlet curls was put up in a short curly prom updo (This hair) and her tail fur was brushed smooth and soft so it looked alittle less fuffy but was softer on her face was a elegant Masquerade mask (This Mask) The main body of the mask was black while the detailing was silver however never one to go without her trade mark colors the jewels around the eyes alternated every other gem in color of Seafoam Green and Lavender purple however the gem in the "crown" of the mask was like a white diamond the mask was being held on with a black satin ribbon
To keep her trade mark colors while also keeping the theme around her neck on a thinish silver chain was a pendant she'd had custom made it was made of silver and was flat on one side and domed on the facing side it consisted of a circle of the same seafoam green and lavender purple gems in a alternating pattern lining the outside of the circle along the inside edges of the pendant were white crystal roses which filled the space leaving a skullish shape in the center the center itself if looked at from behind had a skull shaped piece cut out of it with a thin bar in the center clipped to the bar was Camilla's Skull Pin the length of the necklace had the pendant resting right where the over the should sleeves met in the middle of her dress so without close inspection it could almost be mistaken as a broach
Slung across her like a messenger style bag so it rested on her left side (so not to interfere with the rose ruffle) was her purse This gorgeous purse!) The thinish square purse was midnight black with clusters of white seed beads in the corners the large gems in the corners to match the other were Seafoam green and Lavender purple the face of the clock was lunar white while the lines were silver and the numbers plus hands were black the metal on the clasp plus where the straps connect was silver and the straps themselves were bejeweled with once again seafoam green and lavender blue gems if one watched for a moment they would notice the clock on the front was not just for decoration! The hands actually moved!
Finally as Camilla stepped in one would hear a curious sound a sound that was very rare to hear around the Dormouse ghoul one sounded almost like... shoes on flooring! Yes ladies and gents! Camilla was wearing shoes! I rare thing for the usually barefoot/sock clad Dormouse ghoul if for some reason Camilla lifted up the skirt part of ger dress high enough one would see elegant black lace up victorian boots with a very low heel which came up to halfway between her ankle and her knee

Camilla was a bit surprised when Shayne took her's and Mellow's hand but she happily followed along though by the time they got to the photo booth she was eagerly leading him! When they arrive she lets go and would have bounded right up to the curious booth excitedly if AJ hadn't offered to try it first and see if it was ok "Ok!" she says happily but was was clearly eager to see for herself one could tell by how she started rocking on her heels which she found was harder then it looked when wearing shoes...
The Dormouse ghoul couldn't help but laugh a bit as Dwa tried to eat the booth and found it not to taste good though she had a feeling the SC weren't going to be happy about the teeth marks in the booth... curiously Camilla watched AJ enter the booth and saw the flash followed by the whirling sound only to have it stop... she tilts her head to the side curious as to what happen and when AJ and Dwa returned they couldn't shed any light on it either but they said it was safe!
"Ok! My turn!" she exclaims excitedly before bounding over to then into the booth and closing the curtain she seats her self then smooths down her dress and adjusts her mask before smiling cheerfully at the camera and doing a V for victory gesture with her right hand the flash came as expected and the Dormouse ghoul found herself seeing spots as the whirling sound started again only to have it abruptly stop "Hm? Curious... It did it again..." she say with a frown before opening the curtain and returning to the group
"I wonder if it's broken..." she says slightly disappointingly with a small frown the whirling sound reminded her of when a old camera was about to spit out the newly taken photo but the booth made the whirling sound like that but gave no photo...

Sorry Camilla, to be specific, Mellow wasn't looking at anyone but muttering. The excited chirp of Mayaa made the pony flinched, bringing his shoulder shrugged. The situation was like when cats jump with loud sudden sounds. Anyway, Shayne came to rescue! He was about to correct the undead boil once again but he got tugged gently by the hand.
Mellow's mouth slightly opened but shortly closed, squishing Shayne's hand back as he walked with him, with a gentle smile. Mayaa and Aj were left behind, but he believed they would soon catch up.
Mellow stared at the weird wooden cutouts for a while, the holes there were for them to drill in? He got closely to one of them and discovered he was too short for any one. The boil pouted and pressed his lips into a thin line. judging.
Until someone called him to take a look of the tall rectangle object, the space was covered up with a curtain. It was opened so they could peek inside. Weird =.= Mellow's only comment and all three just standing there, checking it left and right.
Soon, the duo arrived and the tall boil casually walked into the thing bravely (Mellow thinks) and shortly return to inform them it was safe. Mellow wanted to ask about the strange loud noises, but he let it go.
To show he was a might little pony, the boil walked towards the thing without saying anything but someone got it quickly. Ok, he can be the third one..... ghouls.....He sat nervously in it with a frown, waiting for the said "flashlight". He didn't wait long for it to come, but he still shocked by how strong it was. It made him widen him eyes and pricked up his fluffy ears, shoulder rigidly shrugged, the tail behind him also straightened up like a green stick.
That was what the monitor captured.
Anyway, creeple could see a little light green thing broke out from the box, and flung around the area like a blind fly. It remained for a while before it disappeared and the boil come back.
Mellow returned to the rest with a tired look, "...It's a monster." The boil rarely said something, laid flat on the floor as if he was dead.

he got his reddish hair in a ponytail with a white ribbon and around his neck was a light brown scarf. Also, the undead boil had on a blue dress sweater with a pair of light-brown dress pants. For a poor undead boil, he was dressed neatly. His clothes had red and yellow patches here and there.
Expression: bewildered, eye widened expression
“A monster?” Shayne asked with a bewildered expression on his face. The undead looked at the green haired pony boil for a few seconds, and then he looked at the dormouse ghoul. “Oh boil…” He said as he began to blush once again. “Sparkles?” The undead boil looked at AJ, and then looked at the dormouse ghoul once again. “So it's something like Mistress Camilla?” Shayne uttered out as he was trying to put sparkles and monster together. However, the only way to truly find out what they are talking about is to try it himself.
When the undead boil enter the booth, he looked around a bit. Flashing buttons, monitor with his reflection, and a seat. Before he could realize that he was looking at his own reflection, a bright flash blinded him. After the flash, he heard a whirling sound as he was now seeing spots. “What just happened?” Shayne asked the group as he walked out of the photo booth.

Aisha clung to Deszeld's hand until they loitered around the photo booth. There were people lining up for formal photos but also some cut outs that they could duck into and take things themselves.
The zombie was excited, perky even, when Des wasn't acting scary. She actually enjoyed her company quite a bit.
"So you want to get a real photo? Or should we do the cut outs? They are pretty funny.." Aisha bounced a moment, "Especially since you look like such a sourpuss."
Van talked to Kier the entire way to the photobooth, excitedly gushing about his first time playing an instrument and how he missed his family but he'd totally find them one day and how he was also glad that they were friends 'cause he didn't have many either!!
(He scared them all away).
Van talked like a mile a minute, because he did that usually, but he was actually really excited to be running around with Kier. "KIER, I have two questions! One: the booth, or the cutouts?? TWO: Can I hug you?? Would that be okay???" Van was practically bouncing back and forth on the soles of his feet.

Deszeld was quiet for a long time, phone in hand as they walked to the photobooth (Des was quite adept at using a phone in one hand thanks to her long fingers), and she appeared to be on Critter. The green let out a low hiss and crumpled her phone in her claws, depositing the now trashed eyePhone in the nearest garbage receptacle.
And then she gave Aisha a very, very sweet grin.
"I think, perhaps, we should do both. I would enjoy having a keepsake of this evening, Aisha."
The words were a near croon, almost an absolute one-eighty from where they'd been earlier in the evening.
Aisha looked momentarily confused, not because of the agreement but Deszeld's shift in tone.
"Well okay," The zombie nodded but made the best attempt to just go with the dragon's eccentricities. "Well theres no line for the cutouts so..."
Aisha let go of the green and hop-stepped over to examine them all. "I like this one.." The first one with the faces pressed together. "Eh? Someone can take it with my phone.. unless you wanna use yours?"
She'd missed the crushing.

Deszeld slowly followed after Aisha, her tail lashing slowly behind her. She tilted her head to the side and slowly stepped behind the cutout so that her face peeped through one of the holes.
"Like this? And I seem to have lost my phone, Aisha, so we will need to use yours."
"Oh! Yeah!" Aisha handed her phone to someone else and asked the to take a picture. The zombie ghoul ran around to tuck her face into the other hole and grin.
There was a count of three and then a flash.
Aisha rushed out to thank the picture taker and returned to Des' side. "Check it out! I'll send it to you!" She tweeted it too.
