We'll take a close look at this when next we are making updates to that system. bluealaris Bon Troyage ItemsA while back (last year I believe during Christmas) Siskataya made a staff update that showcased an update to the gift system including new boxes and (if I remember correctly) the ability to gift more than one item in a single box. Unfortunately nothing happen, and with Christmas just around the corner I was wondering if you guys would look back into that and possibly implement it! Its a possibility that we will seriously look into.

I'm not the original asker, but for me, I would love it to be longer because I am a serial donator / gifted and would like to have a longer record of it. Sometimes I blow through the gift history in about fifteen minutes, and it would be good to see it longer for my 'records'. ...Makes sense, we can take a look, if it's quick and easy, I see no reason why not.

December 8th, 2014: Narumi Misuhara Nenanah FeaturesSince you removed a few things from the user drop down box already, can we also add a "send gift" option, that will let us send gifts from our inventory? The "buy" option is cool but sends us straight to the CS and sometimes we already have the item in our inventory and want to quickly send it, rather than fish around for the item and copy pasta the name into the box.... May we please have both options to send gift, from CS or inventory in the user drop down box? Question is originally by ( Pwnder ) I am using Nenanah's Ask the Staff Question Posting Service. This is a good idea but one we probably wouldn't be able to get to for a little bit. We had removed the Send Txt option and replaced it with the View Store option, this was a quick link switch. The proposed change above will take a little more work to accomplish. Narumi Misuhara Squirrelette FeaturesJust a suggestion for the gifting stuff. Maybe instead when you click an item up and you have the option to gift, maybe instead of sending us to a page and having us go through steps, maybe could you just make it a pop up? So we never have to leave our invo? and when we are done gifting you just click it down and you are still in your invo. It would make gifting much easier. *takes notes* yeah, sounds good.

I was wondering whether it would be possible to gift game items- at present they can be traded and sold on the marketplace, but gifting is not an option (I had figured that this was to prevent mass dumping of trash on users, but this doesn't seem as if it would be an issue, with the advent of the Dumpster Dive and inflation and such o.o) Thank you, again! ^ .^ We'll take a look. As long as it's not that way due to a technical limitation I see why not.

Are you guys still working on the serial_not_in_owner_location error? There are still many, including me, who are suffering with this problem. I still have a gift and trade that can't be removed due to this exact error. The issue was addressed but not for people already stuck with the problem. I'll send your user_id over the appropriate person to get fixed.

June 23rd, 2015: Narumi Misuhara sup-qt FeaturesI would like to request a change so that we see peoples Avatars when gifting and sending a PM. We already have them with Trades and this is very handy. Sometimes I am copying a username, spelling from memory or going off information from another user. Being able to see the Avatar of the person before I send them anything would be a great way to add that extra bit of confirmation. (in my mind)     Not a bad idea, we'll keep this in mind for future updates.

December 1st, 2015: Zero Omega Lady Saxophone FeaturesA lot of users have been getting their Trading passes disabled recently immediately after purchasing Gaia Cash ( example) Is there something malfunctioning with the payment system? Or are the monkeys in the back rooms just messing around with things again? We've recently implemented a system that flags certain purchases that are made in order to protect both users and ourselves. We're then immediately notified when this happens and the majority of users who get their trading disabled get their passes back within the hour.

March 29th, 2016: Zero Omega Arynaria Items + Features: Gifting I have no idea if this was ever suggested before, but I was wondering whether it would be possible to create "packages" containing more than one item to send as gifts. Specifically gifts, so the giver can stay anonymous if they want. It would be so nice to be able to gift multiple things to newbies, or sets to questers, that kind of thing. For security you could maybe require a double authentication when putting a package together. Is that something feasible? Not sure if it's actually feasible, but we'll send the idea along.

There was no mention of this anywhere. Wanted to know why the staff did this? Was the feature essentially useless as a deterrent for bots now and more of an inconvenience for new users? Maybe a staff alert about it would be helpful. It may be a minor change, but it is a change. We didn't see much of a need for it at the moment with the change in how new users and mules behaved, it may be implemented again in the future, but for the time being it's off.

It's been a bit now and I'm getting really impatient. ; w; Not rushing you guys, just curious and impatient on when mine will come back since I have a ticket that might be affected by that little fiasco. ><; We're hoping by Sunday, we're about 2/3rds of the way through and we'll be working through the weekend on everything to clean up if it isn't finished by Friday. I know a few people who accidentally gifted valuable items to the wrong people because of a typos. sad Which is beyond terrible if the person they accidentally gifted hasnt been online since 2006 and probably aren't coming back... crying Not a bad idea, we can take a look and add it to the queue if it can be done fairly quickly.
