The day so far had been going pretty slow. Zascha hadn't really done much since waking up. He had lain in his bed for a good forty minutes after he'd woken up, just staring at the ceiling until he felt like dragging his butt out of bed. After getting dressed in some casual clothes, tossing his Moon coat on over top he began to wander the halls. Moving between buildings. No particular place in mind for his little stroll. He had thought about popping by to check in on Harlow but his stomach had other ideas. So he had gone to the cafeteria. There wasn't much there so he just grabbed a soda and a bag of chips of questionable age. And then returned to wandering. Poking his nose about here and there, he soon found himself sitting on a bench outside. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....." He popped his lips. "Bored."

Lilac was just returning from the beach, which meant instead of her signature dress and pigtails she was in shorts with a pink shirt and single ponytail. Casual dress for the casual day she had planned. Over her shoulder was a white and pink polka-dotted bag, inside were several bars of soap shaped into animals. With no place in mind, other than maybe stopping in on one of her cousins, Lilac was simply wandering.
Only her wandering of the area was cut short when aloud 'ahh' caught her attention. Sandal clad feet paused and then spun abruptly to bring the moon trainee closer to the occupant on the bench. The man looked about as bored as he claimed to be, poor guy. Sneakily as possibly her inner impulse got the better of her and had two slender peachy hands extending to try and cup over the mans eyes. "Guess who!" Only he couldn't because they didn't know one another, ah well, it would still be fun!

Oh crap he was suddenly blind! Wait no. There were hands over his eyes. But still he couldn't see. Zascha had almost dropped his bag of chips into the dirt as he flailed for a second. He hadn't expected this at all. The voice that came with the hands was one he didn't recognize at all. Not Harlow, Nellie or Finley. And it was asking him to guess who it was so....it seemed like an impossible request. With the hands still over his eyes, Zascha scratched at his chin. "Uhhhhh...." It was a girl so his guess surely had to be female. "The Duchess of.... Pudding.....?"

Dancing from foot to foot she was careful not to hold her hands to hard over his eyes, giggling quietly behind as the man flailed. The comical scene however was nothing compared to his guess. A laugh and Lilac slipped her hands free and draped herself over the back of the bench next to the man. "You are correct, good guess." Elbows holding her head up as she smiled to him, a hand slipping free towards the other.
"And, on behalf of my kingdom, I would like to extend a greeting, and of course offer you to call me Lilac."

Flashy a grin, he took her hand and gave it an appropriate shake. "Ohhh well I must say if all your Puddians are as sneaky as you are to catch me off guard I think we're all doomed." Zascha gave a small chuckle as he rolled the chip bag closed. Saving the rest for later. "Nice to meet you, Lilac. Sadly I don't have any special titles attached to my name so you may call me Zascha." Leaning an elbow on his knee, he turned his body slightly so that he could look at her. "What brings one such as yourself out here today hm?"

"Yes but they will give you a nice surprise, that counts for something right?" Chuckling Lilac looked over Zascha's face as he turned and smiled a little wider for the introduction. For a moment she held her breathing, hoping that she had managed to run into one of the nicer island goers. It was proving difficult to find someone age appropriate for conversation and that was saying something given her own childishness.
"Nice to meet you too, Zascha." At the question Lilac leaned back and threw her hands up dramatically towards the sky. "Fresh air and sunshine of course, maybe soap too but that's a little less exciting!" Chuckling her arms hit her sides and she swung around to sit on the other end of the bench. "What about you, boredom?" A knowing smile was given to the man as her hands busied with adjusting the end of her coat to rest over her legs.

"Indeed. A very delicious surprise." Zascha chuckled as well. This new girl reminded him a lot of his younger sisters. Well...he was finding a lot of the girls he had run into on the island reminded him of his sisters. It was a hard but welcome reminder to be honest. But it made it easier for him to switch between the more serious and the silly conversations. Though he preferred the latter a lot more. Fresh air and sunshine. He glanced out at the scenery around them for a moment. Tilting his head just slightly before looking back to her now that she was sitting on the bench. "Ahhh yea. I've pretty much spent most of the day wandering around and just found myself here. Not a lot going on today I'm afraid."

Lilac laughed sweetly on a shake of head for his delicious comment. It was nice to meet someone with a sense of humor that didn't head vulgar, at least not right out of the gate like some she had met. For a moment the woman was quiet, simply watching Zascha, though her gaze did flicker away form time to time to her arms, it was a habit now after the bugs. Just ghost sensations she had yet to over come, so each tingle of skin gained several looks to make sure nothing was crawling out.
"You should be thankful for that though right?" She asked curiously, wondering how long he had been on the island. "At least I am...because it seems the more that's going on, the more anxious I become." Laughing a little her shorter legs begin to kick idly in the air as if swinging.

"I suppose you are right." He was kind of thankful that nothing was really going on. Although he wouldn't mind some kind of party or super fun event. Something with less death and zombies. Thoughts of the last little Deus get together brought a chill to his spine, especially after his own little special experience. He absentmindedly rubbed at his left shoulder. The butterfly mark was still there, though it barely hid the scar that was there as well. It still being there left him quite uneasy but he tried not to think about it. The numbness in his fingers though had gotten progressively worse, did little to let him forget. "Although I wouldn't mind something fun happening for a change. Like a party, with lots of food and loud music. No drama or stress. Just everyone having lots of fun." Leaning an arm on the back of the bench, he took a sip of his half drank soda.

Lilac smiled up to the man, noting the rub but not thinking much of it. Stretching her arms out in front of her she yawned gently, feeling the effects of sitting down already. She could really use a nap right about now, but it was still early.
"Ahhh, that sounds amazing!..." Ideas of parties were filling her head already as she leaned back into the bench again. "This is a busy time of the year though I've heard." A slightly mischievous grin was delivered though to her bench companion, "you know, I bet if someone put up something on the kitchen cork board, others might just get into the partying spirit too though?" It might be a gamble but that thing seemed to be rather popular and she was certain other hunters had more means than herself to help organize a party.
"I think that would be the perfect seeking; A party, with lots of food and loud music. No drama or stress. Just everyone having lots of fun." Giggling she shifted to cross her legs.

Zascha rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Maybe he could drag along Harlow to help with the party planning. She had been running herself ragged lately. And honestly he could do with a pleasant distraction. Not that she wasn't. But she also wanted to make lots of friends and that would be a good excuse. Snapping his fingers, Zascha grinned. "That's a really good idea. Maybe some sort of potluck or something. A party with lots of food and music. I know I'd enjoy it." He could even get Finley and Nellie to join in too. They'd probably enjoy a party and meeting new people. "It would also give people a chance to meet others in a setting where death or maiming wasn't a serious possibility."

She laughed at the last thing to come from Zascha, "that's an excellent thing to put in fine print somewhere, I'm sure lots of others on this island would come just for that!" It was so sad when you thought about it, but so, so true as well. Standing up abruptly she clapped her hands, head nodding with determination and pink hair swaying with the motion. "Let's give it a try!" Lilac looked to Zascha and held out her hand.
"While I'm not totally capable of musical things, I can dance pretty mean and I can bake excellently if given materials!" She fist pumped into the air with her free hand, just for extra enthusiasm.

"Should probably make people sign some waivers." He was partially joking and only slightly serious. Zascha didn't have enough fingers and toes to count how many times he'd just been trying to have a nice time and something went awry. He couldn't help the grin that spread across his face at her enthusiasm. "Sounds good to me." Taking her hand and giving it a light shake he then stood himself. "We should probably start with making a list of things to get. Food things and whatever is needed to bake food things, things to eat food things on and with..."

"That's a very good idea, sadly." She laughed sounding a little exhausted, but then smiled brightly. Zascha's agreeance had her giving the man a friendly wink then prompt thumbs up. "Yeah, well great!" Lilac gave a little shuffle of feet, dancing in joy for a moment after the shake to her hand.
Food things and things for food was a brilliant idea to plan for, at least in her mind. "Yes yes!" Lilac tapped her pockets then frown, "I have no pen and paper..." Turning towards Zascha she offered slightly hesitantly, "would you like to come to my room? We can further plan there?" Lilac was really only hesitant because she lived in the basement and currently her room was filled with fabulous chalk pictures along each wall of sunshine.

Zascha patted his own pockets, but he didn't have any paper or writing utensil either. He had his phone but trying to navigate that damn thing was a pain in the a** half the time. Trying to take notes on it and make lists would probably end up giving him a head ache. He could hear the hesitation in her voice when she invited him to her room. "Sure, unless you'd rather we go to mine I don't mind." His own room in the basement level was honestly pretty scarce at the moment. He hadn't taken much time to really decorate properly. But he was always a bare bones kind of guy. Only keeping the truly important things. Zascha didn't spend a lot of time in his room other than sleeping anyhow.
