All Egg Day Like most of Alternia's older holidays, the true meaning behind All Egg Day has been lost in ages past. However, trolls have continued to celebrate this holiday sweep after sweep, with the enthusiasm that comes with any excuse to gorge yourself on treats. All Egg Day is a true symbol of this, with trolls from nearly every blood caste able to get their hands on the rare treat of Processed Theobromian Nut Byproduct, or chocolate for short.
On this holiday, huge herds of wild musclebeasts emerge from the Alternian forrests, allowing for trolls up to the task to wrestle them into submission for their precious milk. While the hunting and milking of these great beasts is viewed as a yearly traditional sport for brave trolls to test their strength, it also is a key ingredient for the more gastronomically inclined trolls as well. The massive influx of the key ingredient in the processing of the Theombrian Frond Nut allows distribution of large amounts of delicious chocolate to trolls all over the planet.
The most popular treat made out of the chocolate is a replica grub egg, most filled with sweet paste coloured in the most basic blood hues. Red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. These treats are used in games of hunt-the-egg, a full contact sport revolving around stealth and defense where the troll left standing at the end with the most chocolate eggs in their basket the winner. In honor of these games, artistically-inclined trolls make pilgrimages down to the breeding caverns and collect discarded egg shells, fix them back together, and paint scenes from the events on them.

12th Perigee's Eve "Deck the halls with bough of spikefronds, falalalalalalala!" All around Alternia, trolls and their friends gather to celebrate 12th Perigee's Eve, that magical time of the year. They go into the forests and deserts with their lusus, and return with the corpse of a Prickly Pinebeast which they decorate with animal leavings, eggs, and other festive, seasonal objects. Then, every troll, young and old, will climb into their recuperacoons and snuggle down for the night, dreaming of the presents that Troll Santa will leave under their corpsetrees to be found the next evening. Any similarities in presents delivered by Troll Santa and the personal preference of their lusus are carefully overlooked, of course. There's no point in spoiling the magic.
Another common activity around 12th Perigee's Eve is an unprecedented bout of charity. Lowbloods from all over gather up their meagre posessions and go out to give to their highblood overlords, er, neighbours. Highbloods too, swap presents, using them as a form of passive-combat against each other. The better the gift you give, the more you seem to say 'Look at what i can afford to throw away on you! My wealth and power are overwhelmingly great!' There has even been tell of lowbloods gifting each other presents, but most trolls are stumped as to give an explanation for this. Bribery perhaps?
Finally, there are a myriad of smaller ways trolls celebrate, from preparing seasonal delicacies and consuming vast meals, to singing aggressively at neighbours until they are paid to leave, a great way for lowbloods strapped for cash to make an earning during the harshest time of the season. While some smaller sects of trolls practice other forms of celebrating, such as lighting large amounts of candles, to showcase just how truly fireproof their homestead is.
