The nightmare was just one of many dreams..memories? Trickling from the future that had yet to be, into the present that was right now. This one was the first for her.
Sometimes she got memories of Auro, of herself being pregnant.
This one was of a woman cloaked in darkness, with a smile that was cruel and bewitching. It woke her up with a sort of yearning and fear. Who was the woman? Why did she fear her so?
Her clock showed in bright green light that the time was 2am, and though she had school in the morning, she donned herself as Mintaka and escaped the nightmares that wouldn't leave her alone.
Into the city, where she could deal with the nightmares of today.

Ate had found herself for the fifth time that week awake and pacing. Like so many others she had fallen under the spell of Pluto and found herself facing a grim future….
Well grim for some at least.
For herself it had been an awakening. She had seen herself as…as something else. Something she couldn’t even comprehend. Her skin was cracked, her body absorbed energy like it was candy and her mind, her mind had achieved ultimate clarity. It was like she was someone else entirely, someone not all together human. Yet she had seen herself fit into the role with such relish that Ate couldn’t even begin to understand how it had happened.
She had never met another like that before her dreams and once awoken she had started out on her search eventual providing fruitful in the present. Apparently her future self had obtained a form call Ascended, something that Alkaid had explained and Lyssa had encouraged. A path the only one had ever taken and been rewarded by Metalia own hand. Sadly the catalyst was to offer her planet and the prospect of reaching it was zero. The being who had helped Alkaid reach her own planet was long gone and with the corruption of Ate’s starseed she could never send herself there again. So for the fifth time that week, for the thousands time she was pacing, fretting over how to achieve her goal and was left wanting.
The night had been slow, there were few patrols out and Ate could only ponder at why. Maybe their dreams had proven too much, maybe they had remembered how they had been brought to Metalia side? Was it this very night? Either way she had little to do other than think and as Mintaka's aura sparked into life Ate was brought from her musings with a start.
Maybe some where still brave enough to face their fate tonight?
Although sensing an aura was hardly like GPS it usually grew stronger the closer you got and with a little bit of time a person could find who they were looking for. Just like now as Ate stared down at Minaka from the metal railings she had perched on at the side of an office building. Walking the street at this time, no matter the fact they resided in a city like Destiny, left few witness to stumble upon them and Ate was never one to miss a good opportunity. Jumping she reached the ground with a thud, he heels clipping the ground as she ran towards the Super, her eyes adjusting to the street lights as she approached the girl.
"Little late to be out tonight dont you think? What's a pretty thing like you doing all alone?"
She had yet to recognized the Senshi but a tingling sensation started to grow at the base of her spine as she waited for her the inevitable answer.

The trepidation from her nightmare, carried into the way she moved through the city. A glance over her shoulder, a move into the light. Ways not to be detected beyond Aura.
It was quiet. Eerily so on the street. No cars, no random dogs. It spooked and eased her in a confusing sort of way. Silence let her think, but thinking lead her to dark thoughts and worries.
She felt the aura join her, her gaze turning up to Ate with almost wide eye childlikeness.
And a prickling sensation of danger and fear, as if she knew the woman from somewhere.
Bewitching and haunting and terrifying.
"Good evening." She remained a polite distance away, offering the corrupt woman a hesitant smile. "Well, I suppose it is late for most, and early for the rest." But Mintaka smile waned, "Pretty? That's nice." She wanted to compliment back, as it was polite too, but her throat suddenly felt really tight. She felt tingly, and she wasn't sure it was a good way.
"I could ask the same of someone such as yourself....Lady...?"

Ate scoffed at the comment, wafting her hand towards Mintaka as if waving it away.
"Oh sweetie, I aint no lady but if its a name your after its Ate, Eternal Sailor Ate." Emphasizing the eternal part Ate wanted the girl to know she was no match for her in her current form. Not unless she was the light weight kickboxing champion but she doubted that entirely. From what she could see this girl hardly had any meat on her let alone muscle to go with it. Even out of their powered forms Ate was pretty confident she would emerge the winner after a fight.
"And am only saying what am seeing, pretty little things shouldnt be out on their own this late. There are bad people out there you know, unhinged folk with fantastic hair." She added with a laugh and a flick of her locks before stepping forward allowing the street lights to fully submerge her in their glow until every inch of her was illuminated. With the light aiding her she could now see Mintaka in all her glory and with a gasp the tingling sensation exploded down her spine.
She knew her.
She hadnt seen it in the shadows but now, even lacking the eternal signature, there could only be one Senshi that could cause that chill in her soul. The one she had seen in her dreams.
"Y-You..."
She couldnt get the words to form on her lips, her confident attitude faltering as the realisation hit her. Here was the senshi who had tried to reason with her after her future self-had taken her fill of energy leaving a trail of cold bodies behind her. This girl couldnt understand why Ate had performed such a deed and tried to fathom out the corrupted who stood before her 5 years from now. Ate admitted she was getting pretty good at the killing side of things in the present but it wasn't in the same league as the inhuman monster of her dreams and hurting so many without a real fight or challenge had grated on her but the Ate of the future obviously didnt have those concerns. Still though it was strange seeing the person she had spoken too, the person she remember future Ate feeling the hunger for, which right now translated into a burning lust and Ate felt her cheeks burn in the moonlight.
Those weren’t her thoughts. Not now.
“Its you….the babe from my future…”

"Forgive me, but you are very much a lady." Mintaka small smile returned, and she relaxed just a little. Not enough to not keep her eyes, but enough to allow herself the chance to speak, and communicate.
If she knew she was under the microscope, she didn't portray it from the look on her face. Eternal Sailor? That was a rank above her, and in no doubt most likely would win if they fought. And something told Mintaka that she'd end up the prey.
Speaking of prey, she mostly felt that. Smaller, weaker. It was the smooth lilt of Ate's voice, just a hint of predatory danger? The eyes that seemed to soak her in? Mintaka couldn't place it, but she felt the danger down to her very bones.
"There is a lot of people out there. Bad, good. Chaos, Order. Prince or Princesses." Mintaka was keeping her cool at least, conversationally moving closer like a moth to the flame. "Not so many with Fantastic hair as you say-" Her words died away as Ate was emerged in the full light.
Longer, beautiful, older...crazier for sure. The bewitching gaze, the languid slide of her body. Mintaka had met this one, she had seen her. A trail of bodies, stolen starseeds. The way the woman looked at her like she was a meal just waiting to be devoured. Mintaka knew where this fear came from. Mintaka knew just who Ate was.
"I wondered when I would meet you...." Mintaka's voice was small but she refused to allow the fear to control her, as she brought her hands up around her waist. Her gaze never leaving Ate's. This was not the future, not yet. Perhaps Ate could be reasoned with now? "Not many haunt my dreams, but you seem too..."

Ate stood silently, mouth slightly agape as Mintaka answered her, confirming that she wasn't just seeing things or having fantastical dreams but that they both knew who each one was and never having met in person there could only be one answer . And the concept was shattering. It wasn't that she didnt believe the future but to have it confirmed, to know that was going to play out for certain. It was...wonderful.
"You remember me too?" She uttered before smiling at the final sentence, her eyes flaring wickedly as she took the comment for nothing sort of complimentary.
"Ha, I love that am haunting your dreams. I knew I was good but that good? Honey your going to give me a complex." Laughing she walked up to the girl, shunning aside all protocol between enemies and entering the personal bubble of Mintaka, her face coming up close as she scrutinized the Senshi before her. It might have seemed a stupid thing to do, Mintaka could have punched her there and then but Ate held no fear. For some reason she didnt think the girl would fight her and if she did she had no worries that it would go in her favor.
Pursing her ruby lips together she studied the young girl, checking the differences in fuku and appearance from her future self. Where an older woman had faced her in the prophecy now stood a young girl, fresh faced and pretty. The next five years were obviously going to be rough on her but there was one thing she noticed straight away.
"I seem to remember you being...pregnant? Yeah, thats right...and you...I wanted you, I remember that much but...you escaped me" She paused, pulling back and crossing her arms over her ample chest as she became lost in thought, her eyes no longer looking at the girl as she spoke.
"I can't remember how you did it but I just remember wanting you..."
She looked back at her eyebrows another smile decorating her face. "Dont worry sweetie am not going to eat you now am just enjoying remember our little meeting." It was said as a joke but Ate couldn't help but believe that talking to the Senshi would be more beneficial than getting her knuckles bloody even though she wanted to do that too. Maybe if she spoke more she could remember how she had become ascended in the first place.

"Of course." Mintaka repeated politely, taking a step back just in case. "I remember most of the future. But particulary you. You were the first ascended corrupt general I had dealt with. I was-" She hesitated. Scared, terrified, fascinated, curious and sick.
"Oh...OH!" Mintaka's face immediately drew up a blush and she brought her hands up to cup her cheeks. She had Aurostibite, there was no...she couldn't..."I mean, I just..."
And then her space was being invaded and her powder blue eyes opened wide. There was the instinctual need to push the woman away, or move back...ten more feet. But much like her future self, she stood firm and planted and repeated words to keep herself calm.
"I was in the beginning stages." She whispered, "Before my powers faltered. I couldn't keep my form long..." Wanted her? her starseed? Wanted to eat her? She wasn't sure, but she remembered a deep understanding then, and she kind of understood it now. Corrupt senshi were senshi still, did they yearn for their fellow white court counterparts? Did the white court yearn for them?
"I used my eternal attack then, Origami. I'm the senshi of Origami." She didn't relax, didn't look away. "So...So I summon cranes, shapes....1000's of them, like snow. Very useful for cover and escaping." She tilted her head a little, "I remember you screaming after me. Any longer with you though, and I wouldn't have lasted much longer..." And as if she remembered, her hand came to her stomach protectively. "We wouldn't have lasted much longer...." She breathed out.
"You are far more reasonable now, then you were then?"

Ate nodded as Mintaka spoke of her early pregnancy, her inability to keep her powered form up and finally the attack she had performed to make good on her escape. She stood thinking over everything trying her best to remember why she knew the Senshi had been pregnant and why she couldn’t picture the crane attack. She did recall there being snow and she felt like she knew the Senshi was pregnant by sensing it rather than seeing. She tried to push her mind further into the details but the memory began to blur and like so often she found she could no longer hold onto the strands of her dream.
“I can’t….remember everything she did. I don’t think….I don’t think my mind can handle what she was like…” Ate whispered before realising too late that she had spoken about herself in the third person. Stopping her musing she decided instead to explain her theory to the ivory headed girl, there was no harm in speaking her mind to someone that could never pose a decent challenge.
“Your right I was an Ascended Senshi and ergo no longer human. I think I was even made of crystal which…bums me out slightly since you know…no physical fun times…” She said the last bit though clenched teeth as if that was the most disturbing fact about the future, not the murdering rampages she had completed but the fact she could no longer get her leg over.
“So really I wasn’t me…well it was me, just…not. It’s really confusing and I can only begin to understand it when am very, very drunk.” She smiled momentarily forgetting the hatred she had for Order and thusly for Mintaka. She didn’t make half as many jokes as she use to and right now she missed cracking a smile however short lived it may be.
“Sadly though honey I may be more merciful to those that haven’t earned my wrath but am stood just as bad.”

"I see." Mintaka wondered if perhaps it was because the future Ate was...em...estranged..from the mind it seemed. But that was the future, and she had a perfectly fine and reasonably smart woman in front of her.
"Is that what happenes? Is it..." She pursued her lips, "I've read on the primers that Negaversers can become youma's? Half youma. Is being a ascended like that sort of power?" She blinked, "I'm sorry....physical fun times?" She blinked again and then dawning hit her. Hello, she was an adult. "Oh...Oh....Well...Yes. That is probably a shame yes?" Was she blushing? probably. Was she shy? Well after Ate saying she wanted her, just a little.
"Well, perhaps you won't have to worry about thinking about it at all or understanding it longer?" Mintaka gave a wary smile, "I don't think...you are going to do anything to me tonight? Well I hope not, very much hope not."

Ate listened as the girl explained the Primer, a device she couldn't remember using in her Order days (although why she even tried to remember was beyond her, she knew nothing about that time in her life and to try was futile.) Yet the fact remained that whether or not she had ever heard off it was minute. It was required intelligence to know that Order had such a device and it was vital to pass on. Locking the information away she watched as the girl turned crimson from her "physical" comment and again she let the smile play on her lips as she watched her react. She was too cute. Her mind slowly turning over the information as she watched the fragile girl, how Mintaka was way too trusting and innocent to be apart of this mess and the mere thought caused Ate to slowly deflate. Analyzing her she could see this Senshi was too believing of people and even though they would never be friends or even acquaintances Ate felt a pang of protectiveness hit her like a brick. She couldn't say for certain that the future they had shared had created some sort of bond for her but the feeling didnt disperse and she stood scrutinizing the woman before her. She couldn't have this trusting wall flower be like this in the future, not when she knew she couldnt trust herself or other not to crush her beneath their feet.
She had to make her fearful.
"Yes there are those that can merge with Youma, beautiful creatures dont you think? They were once human you know." She said the sentence like a flippant remark. She didnt know if Mintaka knew that humans had been twisted into the grotesque beasts but it was fun to burst the bubble either way. "Yet ascended are something more, they are rewarded for their loyalty and service to the Queen." Ate still hadn't taken to calling Metalia "Goddess" even though it infuriated Lyssa for her to speak of Metalia in any lesser terms than was honorable. Ate had the deep scratches to prove it. Turning around she began to walk around Mintaka in a slow circle, her eyes never leaving the girl as she crossed her arms over her ample chest.
"I dont know how to become her though, the ascended I mean. Yet I know I will, it is fate, it is my future just like you will end up pregant and see me on that dark road. Does it frighten you? Or are you excited?"
She came up behind her, watching the wind lift the delicate strands of hair off Mintaka shoulders and very briefly leaned in, her eyes closed as she breathed in deeply.
"Oh I dont know if I wont do something about you tonight, you know...I wish I could remember how you smelled, i remember it being the most delicious scent." She stepped in closer, unfriendly and sinister as she brought a finger up to trail down Mintaka bare shoulder waiting for her to flinch back in disgust.

"I haven't seen one, so I couldn't say?" She tilted her head, "But I do not judge based on appearances but actions and behaviors. If you say a half youma is good, then I don't see why not." Mintaka blinked, her voice quieting. "The queen? Are you talking about the white queen?" She hesitated, "Moon Queen? I had thought most of the negaverse hated her." some of the white court even seemed to dislike her. She hadn't heard of a negaverse queen though.
"I've only heard of princesses and princes." Mainly, she had met Prince Remarque of the Dark Mirror court.
"It frightens me." She answered blunty, stiffening as Ate came up behind her. The woman haunted her nightmares, but she couldn't let her haunt her present. Unlike her future self, she wouldn't hide or run. She wasn't pregnant. She wasn't Mintaka of the future....Her choices, like Nysa had mentioned, were going to be different now.
"It must be my vanilla body lotions." She casually joked, knowing that if she showed fear, it would fuel Ate to continue on. Instead, her head turned slowly, as she studied Ate with careful blue eyes. Not disgust, but shaded calm and collected. "If I run, you'll chase me. If I stay, you'll do something to my starseed...or you'll continue to talk to me. Or is there something else you want?"

Ate bit her bottom lip to stop a laugh from trembling out, the naivety Mintaka portrayed was adorable and it made her want to keep the girl for longer. Instead she stared deep into the blue eyes that locked onto hers and smiled.
"Ha, no my dear not the Moon Queen, my Queen, Metalia the one true Queen. She is a Goddess, a being unlike any that has graced this universe. Your queen, your very dead queen, is nothing but an ant compared to Metalia. It was explained to me once, if your Queen and one of the General Kings were to do battle, Metalia would be the ground they fought on. She is everything, she encompasses all and your pathetic reluctance to accept her is charming but completely worthless. It makes me sad to think that something so beautiful as you will be destroyed."
She brought her gloved hand up and ran it down Mintaka's ivory hair tucking it behind her ear, the act gentle but alarmingly personal. She was toying with her now and Ate felt the immense pleasure at the begging of this cat and mouse game.
"Yes you can run, and I will chase you. You can stay, and I will have your starseed. Or we can talk, but you will only be delaying the inevitable. How would you like this to go, did you want to start running now? Or fight me? I do want to do that, that would be more fun for me." Ate breathing was heavy as she spoke softly into Mintaka ear as if she were saying a love confession. There was no love, just the need to make her fearful.
"Let me extinguish your light in a blaze of glory. Your passing will be mourned by me I assure you, I dont take the act lightly. I feel we share something you and I and it pains me to think that we will not meet in the future but I promise, I will hold you close until the darkness consumes you completely."
Resting her hand on the Senshi's back, Ate pushed slightly, her knowledge of where the starseed rested allowed her to let Mintaka know that all she needed to do now was to force her hand though her spine and claim what was waiting for her in there. She held her breath waiting for the reaction and the fun to truly start.

"Oh I see." Was all the origami senshi offered Ate, in response to her currently clear obsession with the Queen of the Chaos side. "She isn't my queen, the silver one. I don't have a queen or prince or princess or king." She seemed a bit annoyed, but schooled her tone again. To think just because she was part of the order side, meant she was attached to some...like Ate said, Dead Queen.
But that was neither here nor there, and she should really be focusing on the very chilling and scary aura emitting from the woman. "Um...You keep telling me this, but I really don't think of myself as being destroyed...yet."
And as that was the case.
"I don't fight." The words escaped under a tremble, before she lifted her chin. "I will not fight, but since you are intent on making me feel so uneasy." She brought her arms around Ate's torso, pulling her close and whispering, much like the woman had in her ear, her magic spell.
"Origami Flurry redux*." The spell was instant as the shapes started to fall, and because She was holding Ate close, the woman couldn't escape the flurry as it fell. Soon it got heavier, denser and it left just enough space for Mintaka to escape, by pushing away from Ate. "We might share something Ate, but today is not the day you get to hold me." She paused, "And today is not the day I go to the darkness. You'll have to try harder then that." She flew out of the flurry, moving as fast and far as she could. Matisha *Origami Flurry Redux With the upgrade, she can now summon 500 Cranes, Stars and Flowers in her flurry. This attack last up to 30 seconds, though the same effects still arise. Blinding is still the main idea but the amount of damage from paper cuts have increased. It's not traumatic but it can be annoying. Range is 15ft max, again can be deflected by strong gust of winds or currents, not in range or deflection by covering oneself.

Ate had known a few that has absconded the illusion of their Order Queen but no matter the way they looked at it they were connected. Even if one of her allies chose to follow a GK instead of Metalia they were still connected and would still need to bow before their masters when the time came to call. Mintaka was no different. Until she swore allegiance to another she would always be under the thumb of the now very dead royalty.
"Deny it all you wish sweetheart, you fight for her whether you like it or not..." The words were bitten out between clenched teeth as she remained close to the girls ear, her heart beat growing faster as she thought of all the things she may do to this sweet and innocent creature. She spoke of not fighting, ha! This adorable creature was too much!
It occurred to Ate then that maybe she didn't have to teach her to be fearful to make her stronger? Maybe the best out come would be to bring her over to Chaos? She would teach her the error of her ways. She would train her and show her things she would never believe possible. She would even care for her and show her the glory that was their goddess. She would be a beautiful snowy white angle of death and Ate would watch with pride from the sidelines. She moved slightly to position her feet in a more study place, her arm tensing as she foresaw her hand punching though Mintaka's back and grasping the starseed in her fingers. The thought brought a gasp of elation and lust from her lips just as the Senshi wrapped her arms around her and for a moment Ate mistook the hold for Mintaka wanting this too. She didnt even hear her utter her attack swamped in the frenzied haze of excitement that swallowed her mind and the only thoughts she had of corrupting this girl.
It was the sting of thousands of papercuts slicing over her skin that brought the dark senshi from her goal, the tiny lacerations building up into a torrent of wounds as she staggered bag, her arms immediately crossing over her head to stop the onslaught attacking her face.
"AHHHGGGHH! NOOO!" Bleeding from hundreds of miniature wounds the corrupted lowered her hands as the crane fluttered out and died on the winds. The attack lasting only half a minute but the effects apparent across her bare skin. It echoed the same attack from their future and the rage Ate felt building up in the pit of her stomach was excruciating.
"You....You would do this again to me! AGAIN!" She couldnt help herself, before she could even stop her body she lurched forward, throwing a back handed slap towards the girls face with all her might. She might have ducked or hit but Ate hadnt really taken notice the fury in her so strong.
"YOU b***h! You....you...." She couldnt finish her sentence the anger biting off each word she wanted to say. She didnt know how to explain what she had wanted to do, she couldnt argue her cause. All she could do was feel the tiny paper cuts stinging across her body.
"Y-you made a mistake girl.....a very big mistake...I would have made you...so much more..." It wouldnt have made sense to Mintaka not hearing Ate internal dialogue but the corrupt senshi didnt have time to explain the anger and pain she felt stirring into something she wouldnt be able to control. She didnt want to kill this Senshi but the feeling inside her was growing to such a state that that was all she wanted to do. She had to leave, she had to go before she did too much. Nyxtsuki Moon You can totally have Ate running away if you wanted to end on your nxt post, or not, hahah I am an awful human being to you!

"I will continue to deny it for as long as I live Ate." Mintaka sighed.
She ran, even as she heard Ate's wild calls, and screams. Where she wanted to change the future they had together, she was sure she just set in motion the same events from the future.
She let her powered form wink out, took a breath, as she rested on the wall of a nestled house. She waited till Ate ran, till she left and sank to her the ground.
She had never been more terrified...
She'd go home, and forget if she could...
For now...Matisha Tag wrap? Omg Ate is amazing we should do this again...
