"I don't know why, but I am always so fond of the Negaverse uniforms that you guys wear." Mintaka gently pushed a cup over at Astrophyllite, her current companion for tea tonight. She had been quite pleased by the strawberry blonde's agreement to join her, and had as usual, been asking her thoughts on the war. It always delved into compliments though, as Mintaka did really like Astro's looks. She was immensely jealous of the woman's straight and chopped style of hair and wondered if she tried with her own curly, she could do it. The idea was pushed away immediately because Haha....curls.
"I met another one, Galena? She was absolutely adorable. I guess I am quite fond of the simple attire and the unity it brings." She sipped her own cup. "so Astrophyllite, how do you feel about the moon court as a whole?"

Astrophyllite looked at her teacup uncertainly, as if it might be poisoned. She'd been lead to believe that all senshi were space invaders and probably out to kill her, and so coming across one with a full tea set set up - who had invited her to her table, even! - was sort of jarring. But... Mintaka (the pretty lady's name was Mintaka) was drinking her tea - so it must be okay! Unless... unless it was tea that was only safe for aliens to drink, like what if all the proteins spiraled the other way? (She had heard about that in chemistry class but wasn't completely sure what it meant.) "I know a General-King," she volunteered, not yet picking up the teacup. "If you wanted a uniform like mine, we could go talk to him and I'm sure he could do something. My teammate, Kerberos? He was a space invader like you but he's reformed and only wants to protect the earth. He's still sailor, though. I don't know if you'd be allowed to be called Captain." The lieutenant didn't know Galena, which didn't very much sound like a mineral name - maybe she was like Avalon? - and she shook her head slightly to indicate as much. As for the white moon court... "You're all space invaders just helping the moon queen enslave the earth," she said, repeating by rote what she had learned in her earliest days with the Negaverse. Who had taught her that - Bischofite, right? He hadn't taught her much, but he'd taught her the basics, and that she knew how to take care of herself, and she was indebted to him for that. "I like knights, though," Astrophyllite conceded. "There's this one, Hvergelmir? She's so pretty. And nice! And smart!" Astrophyllite wanted to be her friend so badly. "And Mr. Gehenna," she added. "He's nice, too. He let me have cinnamon knots, and he got me a pizza just the way I like it!" Which was probably weird criteria for whether or not you thought someone was your friend. She eyed her teacup again, and this time, picked it up. She supposed she could take one teensy, tiny little sip-- Oh. Hey. That was actually pretty good.

Mintaka could totally understand the apprehension, especially since they were opposite sides. Where Astro would think it was poisoned, Mintaka sincerely wondered if maybe the girl didn't like tea? And if she didn't, perhaps she should bring like...hot chocolate to offer instead? It was always concerns with making the other party comfortable.
"I've met Zinkenite!" Mintaka smiled at Astro, "He was quite the gentlemanly sort, even if I was a bit terrified of what he could do. But no no, that's okay. I don't want the negaverse to mistake me for someone who would corrupt...not that its a bad thing! It's just...well it's not something I find appealing. I'd prefer to work my way, and sincerely wish there was like...a neutral stance or something."
She smiled again, "I was actually born here on earth, in Destiny City, if that tells you anything. I just 'awoke' as a senshi. But oh dear, I have no intention of helping anyone enslave anyone." She fluttered her hands down and laughed a little. "I have no duties to a queen I don't know." Or a any queen..or princess for that matter either.
Mintaka pulled a couple of bakery snacks from Arias bakery, setting them on the plate and pushing it towards Astro in hopes that since she seemed to like food, she would like the snacks too.
"I've just met about one of every kind I suppose up here. I really like the Dark Mirror Court, they've got a fantastic couple of people. Have you met Nysa for knights? He's quite the gentleman too!" She pursued her lips. "I've met only a couple of knights...some of them are not as..um..." Receptive to their negaverse counterparts. First thought was Meggido, but she was sure she could think of others. Celsus? Maybe.

Astrophyllite's face lit up. "Zinkenite, yeah!" she exclaimed. "He's the one who made me the way I am, all strong and stuff!" Even if he'd done it for what she now knew were entirely the wrong reasons, she still owed a debt of gratitude to the General-King. After all, he could have very easily killed her instead - but now she was a proud lieutenant of the negaverse who could jump literally like fifteen feet in one bound and drain energy and talk to spirits using her handy-dandy magical ouija board! Lieutenant Astrophyllite was so much cooler than plain old Gemma Kit Hudson. "Everyone says that," she said, frowning, and she set down her teacup to tap her chest lightly. "But you have a thing here, in your chest? Your starseed." Honestly, she couldn't believe that Senshi didn't seem to know about this! Maybe it was because they couldn't reach into people and take theirs out like officers could. "Your starseed is like your soul, but all crystalized?" she added, trying to give Mintaka a visual - it wasn't like she had one she could demonstrate with. "And yours is from outer space! So, like, your squishy body bits are all from earth? But they're just a walking around suit for an alien." She leaned forward, surveying the newly-introduced sweets, and carefully selected a pink macaron that nearly matched her hair. Settling back onto her calves, Astrophyllite industriously set about pulling the halves apart. "Um, no, I don't know anyone from the dark mirror court," she said, "But I've been told that they are not our friends and I should definitely stay away from. And um..." She wracked her brain, but the name of the knight was definitely not familiar. "No," she said, shaking her head. "I don't know Nysa. Should I?" Nyxtsuki Moon Megiddo will join the fray next post! Feel free to have Mintaka sense a SQUIRE INCOMING!

"I see! He's very admirable general-king, I haven't met or heard of any others so." She nodded, "But I've met some of your generals, Osumilite was well...terrifying..." She concluded.
"Oh and I've met some of the um...'corrupted' senshi. Haumea? He was interesting and kind to talk too as well." Mintaka really had no problems with the chaos side at all really, because she didn't fight them, so that made it okay.
"Oh? Well that is new information for me to ask about!" She cocked her head, "I think it's unfair to say that because I was reborn from space to earth that i am invading, but I respect that is what they tell you, and to some that is invasion. Just know that I really have no intentions of-" Mintaka stopped, her head swiveling at the pop of a squire's aura. It wouldn't be hard for the squire to come to them and she gnawed on her lip, there was a small sort of smile given to Astro.
"Nysa is well...You don't have to know him but he is a good person to at least try to get to know. He's a knight of neptune, and very very kind." She paused, "My dear Astro, there is a squire heading this way.." And one Mintaka was sure she had met before, but couldn't quite place the aura with the distance. "I hope you don't mind a surprise guest, and hope you stay. But I also don't blame you, if you want to leave..." Mintaka's gaze left the strawberry blonde's to turn over her shoulder, landing on the squire who was to join them.

"Oh," said Astrophyllite. "I don't... I don't know Osumilite. But I'm assigned to Natron now, and before that I was with Avalon? And Bischofite was my original general..." But bad things had happened to Avalon and Bischofite, and it was probably better not to talk about them. At Mintaka's mention of the incoming squire, Astrophyllite looked up from the cookie she'd been dutifully knawing on. She could definitely sense them- cold, icy water, a swish of lace, and the sharp tang of tarnish on silver-- And then, she was there. "WHAT THE s**t IS THIS?" roared Megiddo, landing roughly on the rooftop behind Mintaka. The order and chaos signatures had been standing still far too long for them to be properly fighting, and that was why she'd had to check it out. Of course, when she found Mintaka literally having tea with a lieutenant... Well, that called for a special intervention. Astrophyllite wailed in fear - this new girl was shouty and angry and everything that ran totally opposite of staying alive. She hopped to her feet, ready to beat a hasty retreat. Megiddo pushed past Mintaka, grabbed the edge of the table, and, with a mighty heave, flipped it. Tea and crumpets and saucers and whatever the ******** else was part of the senshi's setup went flying. "You see this s**t? I told you to stop this s**t." Astrophyllite wailed again and took off, disappearing over the side of the building. "I'll deal with her later," snarled Megiddo. "Lieutenants can't teleport. She won't get far." Nyxtsuki Moon Astrophyllite out! Megiddo in!

She cocked her head, she had never heard of lieutenants being actually assigned under someone. but you learned something every day.
She gingerly picked up her tea as Meggido came flying in, sipping it as the woman raged. "Exactly what it looks like Meggido, a tea party-"
And then her nice tea party was flying up in the air and Astro, the poor dear had made a run for it. She'd have to apologize to the lieutenant if she ever saw her again. She took another sip, as if undistrubed by Meggido's brutish behavior but on the inside, she was seething.
That was a really nice china set, and sweets made by her hardworking dear friend Arias and she was having nice conversation.
"Wow Meggido, you have quite the flare for dramatic entrances." Mintaka set her cup on the saucer she was holding, eyeing the woman with a very cold pair of blue eyes. "I'm sorry, but since when was I under the assumption that I should listen to anything you say? Having tea on the rooftop has been proved to be more exceptionally pleasing then battling over nothing." Her voice literally dripped with dull boredom, quite different then the friendliness she exuded to Astro.
"And that was quite an expensive tea set Meggido, are you going to pay for it?" Her gaze left the squires to look at the broken china on the roof top and the bent leg of the table. Easy enough to replace, but the china tea set well....

Now that she'd, like, actually gone and flipped the table? Megiddo felt sort of foolish. Like, was she pissed and had Gunn agreed with her that Mintaka was a selfish moron? Definitely. Was destruction of property on her to-do list? Uhhhh... Well, now she'd already gone and done it, so she'd better just stick with it. "Send me a bill," she said flippantly. " You," she continued, looking down her nose at Mintaka, "Have quite a flare for fraternizing with the enemy. The little lieutenant looks so cute and cuddly right now, but you know what they say about keeping wild animals as pets, don't you?" They said it was a bad idea. That was how you wound up mauled by a tiger, or getting your face ripped off by an angry chimpanzee. "Aaaanyway," said Megiddo, drawing out the long A. "I've got no business spraying friendly fire everywhere." Gunn had given her permission to harass Mintaka, not maim her. "So I hope that I've ruined your fun night of drinking froufrou drinks with your pinkies raised and eating macarons with someone who, might I remind you, has the forces of evil embedded in her very soul?" Like, she was seriously considering the possibility that Mintaka had forgotten. Ugh. She was as dense as ever. Megiddo turned to go, satisfied that her job here was done. "Seriously, stop this s**t, you're making the rest of us look like a bunch of prissy morons."

"Of course, I'm sure you are staying with Gunn and her house of similar mind order units." And she knew where that was after all.
"Oh I'm sorry," She felt the clip in her tone harshen, and hated that she couldn't control the incoming temper she tried to keep bottled in. Her hand was literally clenching her cup so hard that she felt it crack just a little. Well the whole tea set was gone anyways so...
"I have no interest in pets, in keeping anyone. But you'd know all about being someone's little pet wouldn't you?" She gave a wickedly sharp smile, "Tell me, how tight is Gunn's leash on you? Did she tell you it was okay to mess with me but not beat me up?" She rose now, "What I do, how I do is my business. I am not Gunn's little pawn, I am not under the authority of anyone higher then me, I am my own senshi." She rose, "What I make us look like, is knowledgeable and open to negotiation for peace. What you look like is a stupid girl with a superiority complex."
And since she no longer could hold the anger, as if Meggido could just walk away, she took her now cooled tea (thanks to the fall crisp air and her holding it so long), dumped it on the squire and dropped the cup.
"Next time you ruin something of mine Meggido, Will be the last."

Megiddo frowned, hey eyes narrowing, in reaction to the cooled tea that had just been dumped down the back of her dress. "You little t**t--" she began, and stopped herself, and took a deep breath. Gunn didn't hold her leash, and Mintaka didn't know anything! "Oh just go ******** off and die," she said finally. "If you love Negaversers so much, go marry one and have his chaos-corrupted babies and spend every night with his chaos-veined c**k down your chaos-loving throat." And then, she took a long walk off a short roof, because she thought that looked kind of cool?

Mintaka snorted.
She pushed the right button, that was good enough for her.
"Have a pleasant night to you as well Meggido!" And she indulged in a crude throw of her middle finger. After the squire was gone, she went about cleaning up the mess and breathing out.
Deep breaths. so many deep breaths. her first enemy, it would be of order.
She would hate to know what Megiddo would think that in five years, Mintaka would've been married to a negaverse general and pregnant with his child. Her hands still on the broken china and she sighed. Silverah WRAP IS GOOD, THANK YOU FOR THIS AHAHA.
